We are so thrilled to have a great place to paddle in Atlanta! High Country makes it easy to rent and get out on the water. We only wish we could paddle into the fall months. Until next year, thanks again High Country.

A friend and I checked out the SUP Demo event one evening, since neither of us had ever paddle boarded and wanted to check it out. The staff was great! They gave us basic instruction on how to get on the board and how to stand up. They made sure everyone understood how to SUP safely and encouraged us to try different boards. We both had a great time, and my legs were sore the next day — I definitely got a good workout!

What a wonderful company and location. I am so happy I found this place! The staff was super helpful and knowledgeable. I fell in love with paddle boarding thanks to these guys! I have already recommended the Paddle Shack to several friends and will continue to do so!

Had a great experience! Rented 2 paddle boards for an hour. Since you pay online and sign wavers online when you show up all that is already done. A nice guy Chris check us in on the tablet and got us our paddles. The boards were already down at the dock so we did not even have to carry them which was even better. The check out process was as easy in reverse. The water where they rent out is perfectly flat so makes paddling easy. The only bad part was parking. At least the morning we went the main lot was full and we had to park in an overflow lot about .2 miles away. Not a big deal.

This place is great! Went to the Morgan Falls park in late August to let the kids burn off some energy on the playground and saw the Paddle Shack in the parking lot. It was really easy to sign up for a SUP rental and get out on the lake. Staff was extremely friendly and helpful and the equipment was brand new — they had a lot of options for sizing and different skill levels. The lake is not crowded and very safe for my daughter (3yo) and I to share a SUP for an hour. We had a great time checking out turtles and fish and just cruising around. Will definitely be back!

This is the first place we come to for renting our paddle boards or kayaks. We’ve brought a number of friends and family here throughout the summer and all of them had a blast. It’s at a great location as well with lots to do at the park if you have someone that isn’t fond of the water. We also did the SUP yoga and had a blast.

I brought my kid to the Shack late this summer. What a great activity for families on the water. My youngest rode along on my board but my 2 boys loved paddling and exploring the Chattahoochee cove
They saw ducks, fish, turtles, birds… The water was lean and clear. We had so much fun! A definite «must do» for all Sandy Springs families.
The guys at the shack were so nice and helpful. I think you should offer «Eco Paddle Tours» to teach kids about co serration and protection of our precious Chattahoochee River. Our kids learn about it in school and to «take it to the river» in the summer would be great!

These guys are great! Everyone is extremely helpful and they always have kayaks, canoes, and most importantly SUP boards readily available for hourly rental. The Paddle Shack is in the Morgan Falls parking lot, which is only about 100 yards from the river. And don’t worry about having to haul your rental that 100 yards because they do it for you.
Perfect way to spend a summer day on the Hooch.
