So I booked this hotel because I had to travel for business. The reason I chose it was because it had a fitness center. What a joke. One treadmill, one elliptical and some Dumbbells stuck in a tiny room as an afterthought do not make a fitness center. One person in this closet is cramped so there is never a time the space can be utilized. The bathroom had mold in the shower. The size of the rom was okay, but you can hear every sound from within and from outside. The last negative is the coffee. Not very palatable. Other hotels I have stayed in keep fresh coffee available at all times and have a large selection of flavored creamers, etc. Not this hotel. I will not choose this hotel again when I travel back to this area. Very disappointed guest.

After a long day at Cedar Point my friend and I realized we were not up for the 2 hour drive back to Michigan. The hotel clerk was super friendly and accommodating, the room was super clean. Beds very comfortable. For those of you that check the bedbug registry like me(I’m obsessed), there’s an old review on there from one person who said they have them. Well I checked thoroughly and they did NOT. When we left in the am I saw every area of the hotel being cleaned by staff and beds all being stripped. Would definitely stay again.

There’s not much in Sandusky besides that amusement park. Cedar Point, but if for whatever reason you’re in Sandusky and need a place to crash try the Fairfield Inn by Marriott. It’s a very small hotel(only 2 floors), newly renovated, hard beds, lots of pillows, no restaurant inside, but free normal breakfast. Over all. not a bad place for your buck!
