I’ve been wanting to try Vitality Bowls since I started working in San Ramon every other week(I’m and IT Consultant from Seattle). I left the hotel a little early this this morning to swing by on my way to the office(around 7:45am), not realizing they don’t open until 8am. The guy working let me come in and order even though he was trying to get all of the tables and chairs set up for the day. I really appreciated that since I needed to get to work. I will definitely be coming back here(after 8am though haha) in the future. I ordered the acerola bowl and it’s DELICIOUS. I look forward to trying the other bowls.

Delicious! It’s a hit and miss with the staff, majority of staff appear to be under 20 and have messed up on my order a few times, as they seem easily distracted goofing around and it’s ridiculous when you have to wait 30 minutes for a bowl– by that time you could have sat down and had brunch somewhere else.

Pricing went up a bit and they need to update their menu since some items are not available(Oatmeal Bowl) at the San Ramon location.

Over 30 minutes for a small salad and a kids juice is ridiculous. There isn’t excuse for a wait time like that. It’s not like they have to cook it fresh. Don’t waste your time here. Update: the teenagers working here have major attitude if you ask them for an eta or a fork. Snotty service, mediocre food, expensive and takes forever. No thanks!

I love Vitality Bowls so much… Not even the hype. From the Almond Slivers to the perfectly flavored base, I crave this all the time. Not my wallet though. My wallet cries every. Time. SOEXPENSIVE! Plz lower prices I am begging you. Employees are so nice, let them know about my Check-In offer and they just did it for me. They didn’t even charge me for the extra Honey! Please make stamp cards or something or I will go broke very soon.

Yummy acai bowls! Friendly staff and cute location. Bowls are biiiiiig for what I’m used to at a place like this. $ 10 a bowl for a medium size(the smallest) may seem pricey but considering the amount of food and the location, it makes sense(kind of). Takes 10 – 15 minutes(and truly no less) so don’t drop by in a hurry.

I come here pretty often and the food is always very consistent. I usually choose between the Vitality bowl or the warrior bowl(a little more berry flavor) and they’re both delicious. Usually the service is also pretty consistently slow, but I don’t blame them as they hand cut every fruit and blend each bowl individually. The bowls are super high quality and you can clearly taste the significant quality difference in the acaí at vitality compared to other places. Would definitely recommend for a quick snack or light meal!

Vitality Bowls is found off of 680 just off Bollinger Canyon Road. There is a small private lot located in front of the store but parking can be a little difficult because the lot is shared with many other stores. There is plenty of street parking and an additional lot across the street. This store location is nice and small. There are a few tables inside along with a couple tables outside. The wait time was not long and once my Regular Size Vitality Bowl was completed the worker brought my order to my table. The Acai was very tasty. If you never had Acai before it is a berry pretty similar to black or raspberries. The toppings were pretty generous which consisted of bananas, strawberries, granola, honey, and gogi berries. All the toppings were all fresh. If you are in the area and in the mood for some fruits then definitely come by. Vitality Bowls also offers Dragon Fruit as another option instead of Acai. Vitality Bowls also has various other toppings for their bowls also have available various items on the menu such as drinks and sandwiches. Besides this location Vitality Bowls has many locations easily found in the San Francisco Bay Area. FYI: Check in on Unilocal and received 10% off. Free Wifi Password is located behind the main entrance door.

I was really excited to try this place out… That is until I got here. Immediately I felt awkward. The staff is very unwelcoming and had no expression on their face. I would rather stick to my bowls at Jamba Juice where there are friendly faces.

Hmm… I can’t get behind all the great reviews about this place… Anyway, I decided to check this place out based on recommendations. I wasn’t feeling really hungry so I though half sandwich + bowl combo should do the trick for the entire evening. I got the veggie panini + Tropical bowl combo. I must say it didn’t wow me at all… the sandwich is ok it reminds me of skinnier & non-greasy version of Panera Bread’s veggie(tomato mozzarella sandwich). I wanted to try the popular nutty bowl but once I saw the mango in tropical bowl I opted for that instead. I’m not impressed at all and it costs a lot for what you get. I must say lately I’ve been on health & fitness binge so I make a lot of healthy & nutritious smoothies. My home made smoothie(with yucky protein powder) tastes better and fuller than this bowl, all for a lot less $. I can live with the sandwich part but bowl is really expensive…

I used to love this place. Ate here nearly 3 times a week, but prices went up a lot, which was fine… but now they’ve cut back on the amount in the bowl?! Check out the photo I posted! There’s a spoon size gap from top of the bowl to the top of the food! It’s basically half what I used to get! Unacceptable for the prices they charge.

I’ve been coming here since the day they opened and I have yet to be disappointed with my meals! The original vitality bowl is so good, especially if you order it with chocolate chips on top! The paninis here are also stellar; I recommend the turkey on gluten free bread! Although the service can sometimes be extremely slow, it is worth it because the food is just so good!

This is the ultimate destination for lunch! It has a diverse, simple, very healthy and satisfying lunch menu. The service is impeccable, facility is extremely clean, atmosphere is positive. I am in nearby Dublin attending a very rigorous course for work so after lunch I have to return to an on slought power point slides and exhaustive discussions, and Vitality Bowl’s food allows me to return to the remainder of the day’s activities with energy as well as a satisfied appetite. Only con are the days they play 80’s music… I still get my lunch here, I just get it to go! Thanks Roy for putting in the Effort to make this a great place!

It is pretty expensive for what it is. Despite my preferences for small portions — I can get hungry in two hours after eating this. Literally ended up having to go out and buy a second lunch out of desperation — so not broke post-grad budget friendly. They do offer a variety of toppings and base additions if that’s what you’re into. I’m not exactly sure how authentic it is, but they are tasty combinations. Ratio of fruit to acai blend is okay. Not as much as you get at Café Brasil, but eh. I think in the medium size, they put about half a banana. Probably won’t come here again(or any of the other destinations) unless I’m really jonesing for an acai bowl and there is no Jamba nearby. Jamba sells acai bowls(three different types, much more basic, but noticeably cheaper).

Remember to check in on Unilocal first for a 10% discount! I went with a few friends to Vitality Bowls in San Ramon and split a large dragon bowl. It consisted of Acai & Dragonfruit blended with Mango Juice, Coconut Milk, Bananas, Pineapple, Raspberries & Immunity Boost: Topped with Strawberries, Kiwi, Almonds, Goji Berries, Bee Pollen & Honey. After I got over the initial price stock, I was surprised by the vibrant purple color of the smoothie. It must have come from the acai and was absolutely delicious! The bee pollen and honey really completed the dish and added a sweet touch. The wait time is rather long(~15 minutes). My friend said to me «Gosh how long does it take to grind up some fruit.» However, they do prepare the ingredients fresh so the wait is inevitable. The food was good but not worth the staggering price. The service was also a little scattered and no one was manning the counter 50% of the time.

I love me some acai bowls, yes I do, and Vitality Bowls serves up a pretty tasty one. This location is pretty busy most of the time, so expect a little bit of a wait, but I promise you it will be worth it when your bowl does arrive. There are five tables outside, two with umbrellas, and two in the shade, and it was at one of these that my mom and I chose to enjoy our tasty treats, enjoying the sunshine and the pleasant atmosphere. For those unfamiliar with acai bowl, there is usually an acai base, think of it as a healthier version of an ice cream or sorbet, topped with some variation of fresh fruit, granola, and or honey. The thing that we really appreciated about Vitality Bowls’ acai base is that it contained no frozen yogurt or dairy products.(The breakfast bowl appears to have nonfat milk in the base, but all the others don’t) My mom is a vegan, so this would have stopped her from being able to join being able to join me here. Her options for eating out are fairly limited, so we always get excited when we find a place she can eat — bonus points if the food is delicious! I’ve always thought of acai bowls as delicious dessert options, but if you actually look at the ingredients in Vitality Bowls’ version(organic fruit, organic granola, honey, coconut, flax seed, almonds) and consider the fact that they don’t add extra sugar or preservatives to their bowls this is actually a super healthy meal. Yes, I said MEAL. They do offer a dessert bowl which has dark chocolate and or chocolate chips but to be fair they warned you by putting dessert in the title. Frankly, the dessert bowl is probably the HEALTHIEST think ever to contain dark chocolate and chocolate chips. Just keeping it real. Yes, the bowls are a little pricey, but think about the price of the ingredients they contain — ORGANICFRUIT. I challenge you to go to Whole Foods, purchase all those organic fruits and try to recreate one of these bowls(ha ha, good luck) for significantly less money. Seriously, have you SEEN the prices for the good organic stuff? Trust me, you’re getting a bargain. I don’t live in the Bay Area, but I do visit my brother in nearby Danville every chance I get, so I’ll certainly be returning time and time again(WITH my mom) to enjoy an oh-so-healthy-yet-tasty-treat. (I would have normally rated this place four stars, but they earn a BONUSSTAR for being vegan friendly)

Detox bowl is the flavor of the week. The staff are very helpful to customers who do not know what they want, but for those waiting behind the acai newbs, it’s dreadful to have to listen to 5 minutes of indecisiveness and a whole lesson on the different super fruits Vitality offers. I only complain because I’m so in love with this place and can’t wait to shovel acai into my mouth… fair?

I do really like acai, but I can’t say I’m a huge fan of Vitality Bowls. For the last 4 years, I’ve been spoiled with Acai from local shops in Santa Cruz and SoCal and Vitality Bowls is in no comparison to any of those places. The service here is upbeat and friendly, they’ll even bring your food out to you if you’re eating there. I did not care for the more liquid/watery consistency of the acai though. I prefer the acai to be a bit thicker and less runny. They also sell paninis and smoothies here for those wanting something a little more familiar. If you’re craving something healthy and clean-feeling, then this is the place to go to. Just be prepared to spend around $ 10 and try not to be like me and compare it to beach city acai restaurants.

I’ve been wanting to try this place out, so while I was in San Ramon for a wedding, I was happy to see that this place popped up close by when we were in search for something to eat in the morning. I read that the orders take a while since each bowl is made freshly upon ordering, which is great. But a lady ahead of us had put in 4 orders for to go, which caused our wait to be at least 25 mins, which I feel is pretty long. However, since its all made with no ice, no frozen yogurt, no added sugar, no artificial preservatives or trans fats is pretty worth it and rare to find in a lot of places. The menu is pretty expansive with all types of different bowls that come with super food toppings that all have its own benefits(energy bowl, detox, etc.) I went with the Dragon Bowl which came with pitaa, mango juice, coconut milk, bananas, pineapple, raspberries, immunity boost and topped with strawberries, kiwi, almonds, goji berries, bee pollen and honey. Sounds overwhelming, but it was super fresh and tasty… the blend was a little on the sour side and I think I liked my friend’s vitality bowl better which is a little more basic and tastes like an acai bowl. They also offer some smoothies, fresh juices, and some select paninis, salads and soups if you want something a little more solid. It is a little pricier, with a bowl close to $ 10 or more but the quality makes it worth it. I also like the metal bowls they use to keep the consistency cold. I would def come back and wish they opened up more in the peninsula.

Great place for a pick me up. I went to get a Warrior bowl for a late lunch and it did not let me down. It’s a smaller place than what I’m used to, but the gals who worked there got my 2 Bowls out quickly. The place as I mentioned really small but I found parking in the large parking lot. It’s almost easy to miss but it’s on the back side of Market place near that sandwich place. Will be back again to try more of their healthy options.
