This Peet’s is conveniently located in a shopping center near Bishop Ranch. I am able to do multiple errands when coming to this Peet’s like grocery shopping at Whole Foods and Target. There is also a bagel place in here, a Wells Fargo, and a Home Goods store. I like coming here on a weekday morning after grabbing a pastry at Whole Foods across the way. I come around 7:30am and surprisingly I’ve never encountered a morning rush at this time. Maybe all the Bishop Ranch people come earlier or later than that? They have extra power outlets on a power strip for working and I’m always able to get a spot for me and my laptop. My drink is always good and they keep the condiment station well stocked and cleaned often. This Peet’s is also next to a bus stop if you are using public transportation.

Baristas were very friendly and helpful! Also, they made a pretty heart design on my hot chocolate!

They did not make my first order correctly and forgot about my second order they were standing around talking and not filling orders timely. I had to wait at least if not longer 20 minutes just to get two white chocolate mochas. They had horrible customer service when they were asked to correct my first drink it overflowed out of the cup and they give it back to me spilling out of the cup. I had to request a larger cup and correct that issue myself.

I love this peets coffee! I’ve been to a few others, but this specific one is in a great location, the staff is friendly, attentive, and go out of their way to make you feel welcome. I’ve never had a better mocha, and I mean it. Thank you guys for always making my work week great!

I’ve tried to give Peets Coffee a fair chance, but it seems this store is declining rapidly. The service was mediocre and even the«fresh brewed» coffee tasted bitter and burnt. Also, they seem to be transforming into a different version of Starbucks. Unfortunately, I now have to go out of my way to get a decent cup of coffee.

Favorite coffee place in town. Today I ordered a small coffee and they forgot about it for a few minutes. After reminding them, they promptly served it up and gave me a free coupon for another one the next time I came in. Great customer service!

Who doesn’t love Peets?! This location is comfortable with respect to seating etc, but can get extremely busy depending on the time of day. The product served is very consistent and once your order is placed, your drink is delivered rather promptly. There is a nice little outdoor seating area that is very comfortable and the free wifi has a fairly strong signal. Overall, not a bad spot to get your morning or afternoon pick me up. Pros– Friendly staff Consistent drinks Outdoor seating Cleanliness Cons– A bit crowded Parking can be rough Located in a busy shopping center

Very friendly lady at the register and baristo(male barista?). They had to remake my Javiva for some reason and gave me the excess so I got a little more than a medium. Much needed caffeine fix for the day!

The new Iced Brew Tuxedo is amazing. I used to get caramel macchiatos and bad surgery drinks. Now all I get is cold brew with cream or tuxedo

Very disappointed with this Peet’s. The staff was unprofessional and the manager, Dan, was as well. This Peet’s was recommended to me from one of their frequent guests/large corporation who spends a lot of money there(that is in their backyard). I called several times to request a donation for an event, since it is in their backyard, and Dan wouldn’t ‘man’ up to simply say they couldn’t do it. Instead I got the run-around from his staff when I could hear him in the background saying to tell me he wasn’t there. Try the mute button next time! I did inform my contact about this and they were also very disappointed. Thank goodness Starbucks down the street offered, and responded on my first call.

Of all the Peet’s locations in San Ramon, this one is by far the best. I am an avid Peet’s drinker(I got that trait from mom), and I definitely spend more money here than I should. Every time I go here, my drink is always consistent. My favorite drink is the maple latte which is executed perfectly – the milk is always the right temperature, there is the perfect amount of maple, and usually there is a cute foam design on top! This location also appears to be the only San Ramon one that knows how to make a wet cappuccino correctly. Customer service is always great. The only time I ever had an issue was back in December, when I was the only customer in the store and the cashier had me waiting for about ten minutes before he could take my order. I did not complain, but the manager comp’d my drink anyways. This past week I lost my voice, so I have been trying out tons of different tea flavors! I like black tea, and Peet’s has a wide selection of loose leaf black tea. I reccomend Assam Golden Tip and Russian Caravan. An interesting tea is the Lapsang Souchang, the tea leaves are actually smoked so it smells like a camp fire and has a strong smoky flavor. Aside from the jacked up parking lot, if you have a choice of a Peet’s this is the one to go to.

Worst customer service I have ever had. The person who«served» me was Rose. She was rude, short with me, didn’t thank me for my business, and on top of all of it, she and her co-worker were annoyed that I «interrupted» their conversation to pour me a coffee. Wtf??? Rose, you and your co-worker have zero work ethic. I hope you get fired.

It’s definitely a move up from Starbucks. The coffee is great, staff is friendly, and a large variety of good pastries.

A hard call for me to give three or four stars for this place but since it’s my preferred Peet’s in the area I’ll go with four for now. The staff here can be a bit grumpy at times and many of them seem to not see you waiting in line if you come in and they weren’t already helping people. Quite a few times I’ve come here to have the folks working away and only when someone came out from the back did I get service. It’s almost like«oh, there’s someone here!» The staff doesn’t rank as nearly highly as the those in the Tassajara location of Dublin. The biggest plus of this location is the amount of indoor and outdoor seating with both bench and table options. Even on busy days you can usually find a place to sit. The coffee here is what I expect from Peet’s. Good drip and a medium to good cappuccino. They are good at getting orders out once they’ve taken them though, that’s another good point for the place.

I love this store. Their speed and efficiency is on point. With a line of 6 people in front of me(and two multiple drink orders) I walked in and walked out with a drink at 7min and 42 seconds. Justen and Kristina’s quality of drinks are out if this world. I always recommend people to try their drinks. Of you want a pretty design, you got it! Thank you ladies and gents for making this store the best in San Ramon and the East Bay!

I’ve been hopping around from coffee shop to coffee shop searching for the ideal place to get caffeinated and plugged in to get some work done. My main criteria are: 1) Quality of the coffee/espresso 2) Service and cleanliness 3) Atmosphere 4) Wifi friendly This coffee shop isn’t too bad. Their service is quick, their staff is friendly, and their coffee is good, if you like this franchise’s coffee anyway. The atmosphere isn’t very inviting though. It echoes in here like a grade school cafeteria and it is absolutely freezing inside. To give you an idea, I’m writing this in August and everyone inside has either a hoodie or fleece on while everyone outside is in shorts and a shirt. That alone isn’t enough to dissuade me from coming here again. Though the spotty wifi is. I’m not expecting them to handle VPN or massive downloads, but even browsing the internet is taking unbearably long. So if you’re just looking for a place to grab an espresso, this is just as good as any other Peet’s Coffee shop. But if you’re like me and want to place to set up shop for a morning/afternoon, keep searching.

We don’t have Peet’s Coffee in Bakersfield where I live, so I always try to make at least one visit here each time I am in the Bay Area. This particular Peet’s coffee shop is in the same center as the Whole Foods store on Bollinger Canyon just East of the 680. There is plenty of seating inside with convenient electrical outlets near almost every table; there are even surge protectors on extension cords conveniently located along the raised bars along the windows. There is an outdoor patio with tables and umbrellas that has an almost secluded feel as it is separated from the parking area by a small hedge of bushes. There is a free tasting station set up next to the line of people waiting to order where I their current pick of the month, India Peaberry coffee. It was not bad. There was a Unilocal check in deal that offered $ 1 off an coconut drinks. Coconut drinks? At a coffee shop? I was a bit confused until I noticed their prominently displayed seasonal menu of iced coconut beverages: iced coconut latte, iced coconut macadamia nut latte, coconut mint freddo, and coconut mocha freddo. For those unacquainted with the freddo, it is a blended sugary coffee drink. I decided to order the large coconut macadamia nut latte, but I asked for it to be hot. The barista didn’t bat an eyelash and asked if I wanted whipped cream on that, so apparently I’m not the only one to order it this way. I was quite pleased with this little tropical delight of a drink and my mother claimed I had a smug little look on my face as I returned to her car. Of course, maybe she was just using that as an excuse to demand that I share the wealth. She like it, but said she had trouble tasting the coconut. I admit the macadamia taste was more prominent than the coconut, but I could certainly taste both. I noticed, while waiting in line, that they sell quite a variety of teas. I may have to check that out one of these visits.

Pomegranate Berry Tea was so good! I’d totally recommend it if you’re looking for something fruity and light. There’s a lot of tables and high tables for people to sit and do work. However, it can get pretty loud. I’m the type of person who doesn’t mind the noise because I just listen to headphones to listen to music! I really enjoyed doing work here mainly because I found a small table at the corner. There’s a lot of great natural light! Free wifi and it’s reasonably quick! For those who go to coffee shops to do work, this is a great place and it’s spacious. It can get loud, but if you don’t mind the noise it’s okay! There’s also a small area on the side that doesn’t as loud. :)
