I ordered through GrubHub(called A Town Pizza & Kabob on that site). The delivery guy went to the wrong place and had to call to ask what town I was in. The food was not good. We had a gyro(which was the pre-bought oblong pieces of meat, clearly not cut fresh), a pizza(pizza is hard to screw up, but this was just not great at all), and garlic bread(we said light to no butter and they put a ton on). Skip it!

I had heard their pizza was decent. A shame I won’t EVER see for myself! I had these really great coupons from them. Let me start off by saying these coupons said the minimum order for delivery was $ 15.00… So I call and was going to order a couple large 3 topping pizzas and some wings(far beyond the minimum for delivery). So I had already asked the guy on the phone if I could use both pizzas on the same coupon for the large pizza. He told me yes after hesitation and making me repeat myself a few times! So then he starts to tell me how long and asked for my name, but I stopped him before he hung up on me and I said wait, this is for delivery. He said those coupons were for pick-up only. I said nowhere on the coupon does it say for pick-up only though. It clearly states min. order of $ 15.00 for delivery! No where did the coupon have any small print that said pick-up only! I told him this, and he said well we can offer you some deal for two larges(which would’ve had me paying more! NOT A DEAL!) I just told him never mind and hung up. I guess this business is not interested in making money or treating the customer right and fairly!

Decent grease wheel. Very large personal slice. Traditional NY thin. I like a slice a brew. The meatball sub is delectable as well.

I’m all about new york pizza. They pizza has a skinny crust but not to the point where the the pizza crust is brittle(like round table and pizza hut’s low carb crust) and it holds up under the weight of its toppings. As you can tell I take my pizza very seriously. I’ve had better pizza but for you get the biggest bang for your buck with new york pizza

Been coming here since Nov. 10, 2009. Pizza is good, the décor not great but to go orders who cares. Tonight I experienced complete rudeness. Picked up my order and even tipped. Order was wrong and they could care less. I try to spend my money where I live. For pizza I will certainly go to Danville or Blackhawk.

The Unilocal Coupon deal for a 10.99 large one topping pizza still shows up on Unilocal, but when I called the restaurant to order they said it was expired and no longer valid. What kind of crap is this? If you have a coupon that shows no expiration date and its advertised on a site like Unilocal that drives so much of your business you better F**C*IN honor that s*it or be on top of your *hit and take it down! Its seriously annoying because they have another coupon that they wouldn’t honor either which had no expiration date. Its just bad business. I used to like the pizza here a lot, but Im not gonna pay 22 bucks for a large 1 topping pie! common man, thats f’in ridiculous. Lower your prices and fix your advertising or you’re gonna go out of business. Your pizzas not that good!

For what it is, it’s pretty good. Stick to the lunch special, slices are ridiculously BIG! Brief Summary – Huge, crispy made-to-order type lunch slices – $ 6 for a slice and a soda(plenty of food) – Kind of a dive-ish type place – They do have a big screen – Prepare for food coma Came here for lunch. I got 2 slices of pepperoni and olives and a soda for $ 11. The regular slice includes 2 toppings and a soda for around $ 6. The slices were huge. They were definitely thin and crispy, not a lot of sauce. I needed a little bit of ranch to soak it up. No charge on the ranch, it was Ken’s brand in the packets. All in all, it was pretty good. I think I might try something else next time and pass on getting 2 slices because it was just way too much. They have this big ad on the front window that you can log on to some website and get a large pizza for like $ 12. I wish I would have done that but hey, it was my first time.

I used to eat here all the time back in HS. Hopefully, it hasn’t gone south since I haven’t been here awhile. Anyways, the pizza slices are HUGE. They’re like the size of a little kid’s torso. And the taste is pretty decent too. I’m a huge fan of their pizza. It’s tucked in next to Nation’s and 7 – 11, and it’s a real gem.

I was surprised by the quality of this place. Was not expecting much from the strip mall appearance. What stood out to me was the combo comes SANS onions(LOVE) and there is a Jalapeño Pepperoni Olive pizza that just ROCKS! Salads are huge. Crusty is thin-ish not too doughy. Give it a try if your in the area with a big group! For Sure!

This is the perfect man cave — a huge hi-def television, the Spike cable channel on during lunch with loud booming sounds, minimalist/80s style pizzeria décor, and rough looking tables and chairs. This is a manly man’s hangout. The pizza looks big, greasy, and is cheap. The gyro pita sandwich that I ordered was very lackluster. First of all, it wasn’t really a traditional gyro pita sandwich. The pita was fine, but the meat was more of a sausage patty with iceberg lettuce, day old sliced tomatoes, and ranch dressing. It was definitely edible, but nothing more than Ikea cafeteria quality food at an almost equally cheap price. The best things about New York Pizza is that they have free wi-fi and relatively low prices. However, don’t go to New York Pizza in San Ramon for a good meal… you’ll only leave with indigestion and the regret that you didn’t go somewhere else for lunch.

Good pizza. Light on the sauce, not greasy. Salads are large so if you’re ordering as a side, 2 people can share 1 salad. Will return.

Just to let you know I did not order a whole pizza pie, I ordered a slice of pizza(which was half the size of a medium pizza). I got the slice with sausage and onions, the slice was not very cheesy and lack pizza sauce, which made it dry, the sausage was precooked and little round shaped balls(about the size of jelly beans), the onions were at least fresh. The slice was thin like a New York style pizza should be. So I was not very impressed with the flavor and it was dry. Now it might be better if I got a whole pizza, but the precooked sausage was a big disappointment. Go at your own risk.

I’ve passed this place at least a few thousand times to and from work so I thought today would be the day I would test if «San Ramon pizza» would be competitive enough again pizza I’ve had living in NY state and Boston. «One» slice is actually two and they’re HUGE!!! They are baked to order so you can have any combo of toppings you want. I got the lunch special which was a slice and a fountain soda. Sorry but I’ve almost always been disappointed with fountain sodas… they’re always so flat! For $ 6.20, I can see why they try to sell more for more money, but I think it can be smaller for less. And I have yet to be in any California pizza joint that recreates the casual feel of grabbing a slice of pie from the streets probably because of the lack of pedestrian friendly town development around the Tri-Valley :(

I’ve always liked smaller non-franchise pizza places because they usually have far better pizza than the big chain stores. New York Pizza follows suit. The pizza slices are huge and tasty. The pizza isn’t overly greasy and the amount of sauce is just right. Plus, you can get a slice and a drink for around $ 5, which isn’t a bad deal for a quick lunch. Also tried the Buffalo wings here, which weren’t bad either. I’ll be going back here frequently.

We tried this place for pizza for poker since everyone was sick of Mountain Mike’s. The pizza isn’t great, but for the price, we all declared it a winner! Delivery was on time, and well for poker pizza, we will order it again!

New York Pizza has a no-frill pizza parlor feel. Main attraction in the tiny dining room is their big screen TV, which at the time was tuned to the Comedy Channel. I only saw one guy working there, who was responsible for taking our order at the counter, making the pizza and bringing it to our table. We got a medium, two-topping pizza(14″, about $ 16) with sausage and mushroom. I thought the first slice was really good(when it was still hot from the oven), but didn’t taste as good as the pizza cools down a bit by the second or third slice. Bottom Line: Pizza tastes good, but not that special.

YES. Most definitely YES. This place is awesomely good pizza. I love that they don’t give me crap about being the weirdo that orders ½ cheese, ½ cheese w/pineapple. I’ve had the meat combo pizza too, and it’s very filling. Well priced, and there are always coupons that come in the mail or on your box of pizza, so I’ve always gotten a «deal.» I always order a size up from what we require because it has great re-heat potential for lunch/breakfast/dinner/snack the next day.(Any pizza that doesn’t is not worth my while). Please give me the pleasure of introducing you to your new VICE… NY Pizza. booyah! ;)

I’ll be honest, it’s not my favorite pizza in the area. But they have large pizza’s, coupons are readily available, and they deliver fairly quickly and in the time they promise. So when the teenage kids have friends over, this is almost always the choice for dinner.
