Good service but not impressed… almost like a fast food version of mediterranean. Had the Mediterranean mix plate dolmas were dry, hummus was awkwardly spicy and thick, falafels were unlike any falafel I ever had and not in a good way, Greek salad and tabbouleh way too salty, rice was old and hard in some spots from reheating, pita was decent, spanakopita came cold maybe that’s on purpose but although it was good I would have rather it came hot, chicken was well seasoned but dry from being overcooked. Probably won’t return.

CLOSED! As of 29-Feb-12. There was a sign on their window indicating they could not agree to a new lease on the building. I’ve eaten there a few times and I think the food was good. But if you want to try it, you have to go to Zorba’s Café in Fremont. I just hate to see another decent place close down.

I come here once a week because my coworkers love Greek food. I tried the lamb, I tried the gyros, I tried the burger. I am not really into Greek food so it’s just ok for me. One good thing about this place is that you can make your own plate — choosing different meats and sides. Prices are also reasonable and the people are nice. Owner is a little gruff, but still accommodating and helpful.

They have an amazing greek salad and their falafel is super delish! A great place to grab a quick lunch or dinner. It’s a smaller restaurant but they also have outside seating when the weather is nice!

Found this place off of Unilocal and decided to go there because my friend lives really close by. The food was amaze balls! for 3 people we ordered: filafel appetizer, chicken wrap, large fries, and chicken skewers plate. Wayyy too much food for 3 people but we thought we were hungrier than we actually were! The guy also gave us a free hummus appetizer while we waited for our food! I’m not a filafel fan but it was good, and the chicken skewers with rice were awesome! It also came with tzatziki yogurt sauce, hummus, and a nice greek salad. Place is also pretty cheap! Our total was about $ 25 for all 3 of us!

I am so happy that I found this place. I’m always looking for place that have good take out, since I don’t really know how to cook anything(yet…), and this place is perfect for that! I ordered the gyros plate with lamb($ 10). I got my food in probably about 5 minutes… came with pita, rice, lamb, tzatziki sauce, and this DELICIOUS salad with feta, tomatos, cucumbers, etc. Every single bite of that meal was soooo good. Healthy portion, tender meat, fresh salad, great sauce… I can’t wait to go back!

We’re frequent diners here, with two little girls. Good stuff for the family. I usually go for the awesome Lamb chops, wife customizes a portobello /veggie plate, and the girls share a gyro dish. Service has always been good, most of the time we’re there, it’s manned by the owner or his son. The food is always hot, salad fresh(though once it was a bit wet), and the drinks cold. Always a good combo. We did have one bad experience when we tried to order a catering platter. The person behind the counter was confused on the pricing and combinations available. He called the owner and even he was confused on what was on the menu and for what price. We ended up not being able to order that day for a party. Oh well. the food is still good.

Having gone here a few times, I have two favorite items.(1) Anything with lamb and(2) the fries. Both are delicious. I normally avoid the combos as it’s too much food and a bit pricey. While it’s not super cheap, the food is of high enough quality to justify it. It’s one of those places that definitely grows on you. They also have a nice seating area which makes this a great spot for lunch on sunny day.

Have been coming here for lunches at an alarmingly high rate and the frequency just seem to be increasing even more. Not sure whats causing it — maybe its their extremely juicy, flavorful, succulent, and well-priced Spicy chix, Adana, Beef, Lamb Kebabs and wraps? Not sure — can’t seem to be able to pinpoint the reasoning, but all i can say is — THISPLACEISGOODGOODGOOD and I LIKELIKELIKEIT !! Please go here and try out their entrees and update me if you start having the same symptoms @@!! BTW my boss is Lebanese and she thinks this is the closest thing to authentic Mediterranean food she has had in a while — something for you to think about as you chow down.

Got to meet the hubby for lunch today and we’ve been eyeing Mykonos for awhile, so we decided to give it a try. We both ordered the greek salad with chicken and a pita hummus appetizer. The place is pretty basic; order at the counter, get your own drinks and come back to get the food when the buzzer rings. It actually reminds me a lot of Daphne’s but the food is much better. I was happy with the amount of chicken they gave me for my salad and happy that it had a nice marinade. Often greek restaurants just grill the chicken and expect the dressing from the salad to season it. I like that this chicken had a nice flavor. The portion was a nice size and the tomatoes and cucumber was very fresh. Loved the pita and hummus. I love when the pita is still a little warm, it almost makes the hummus melt a little bit. Yum. Good place. I don’t know if I’d make a special trip to go here but I can definitely see hubby coming back when he’s working out of his San Ramon office and I’ll be there eating with him as well.

Enjoyed the spicy chicken gyro. Nice quality chicken, great fluffy pita, excellent lettuce quality. Had some fries another person ordered and the waffle shape held its crunch for entire time, even after they got cold. Taste was good too with some skin showing. Nice seating area.

Ok, people, I am still halfway through a chicken shawarma wrap, hummus sneaking out the other side of my sandwich, and I realized I haven’t reviewed this wonderful café. Working in San Ramon has its benefits… While it’s not a diverse area in terms of the residents, the foods are. A few weeks back I tried a sampler plate with the tabouleh, hummus, felafel, salad, and some other chicken dish. It was awesome. The felafel is nice and spicy. Today’s chicken shawarma is a double wrap, full of good salady items and chicken and seasoning, accompanied by tzatziki sauce and potato salad. I love their food. MmmmmmMykonos. Meet me there!~

Walk in and it looks like any other partial-service restaurant. Go to the front, order your choice of goods and then wait to be served. Was I ready for the bite of heaven I would encounter? Not at all. We ordered the lamb gyro and mediterranean sampler plate. Sampler plate ftw! The falafel was on point, hummus was perfect, they had salad, rice and more specialties. The lamb was a little on the dry side, but MYGOD it was still amazing. I will be back. and BACK. ANDBACK!

I would say I come here about once every two weeks for a greek wrap. It’s pretty good. I usually order the schwerma(not sure if I spelled it right) wrap. The meat comes right off the kabob, and you can’t really go wrong with hummus, onions, and lettuce. The other selections are pretty fair. My co workers sometimes get the rice plates, which look good, though the meat on those plates is rather spare. But they say it gets the job done, so maybe it packs more food that the eye can recognize. Inside, it’s basically a take out place. Nothing too special decour wise, though they have a TV for you to watch. If you like Judge Judy during lunch time, you’ll like the inside. It’s was a little pricey for a take out place, but the prices have gone down. Five Star! They’ve also recently included a potato salad on the side, but the quality of it varies from day to day. I can’t say I’m a Greek food expert, but there’s a reason I come here so often, it ain’t half bad.

I think I have a problem… I just can’t help myself… the addiction… it’s taken over… I just… can’t…stop…thinking…about…these freakin gyro wraps. I’ve been to Mykonos twice in the past two weeks. Both times I had a chicken gyro wrap, which is this deliciously seasoned chicken, wrapped in a thinner, almost tortilla-like pita, amidst hummus, lettuce and tomato and served with a side of this delicious yogurt sauce. This is not to be confused with the standard gyro which you can also order. I tasted the standard one and while I liked the pita part better(it’s fluffier and softer) the overall experience of the wrap is just better for me(it has the hummus and the salady stuff in it)…but decide for yourself. Also worthy of mention is the greek salad which is crisp lettuce, tomatoes, cucumber, feta and olives in a light vinagrette. It’s fresh, it’s tasty and I think it’s made with love, because the woman behind the counter is just SO Nice… how could it not be? It’s a bit pricey compared to say Daphne’s, for two gyros, a small greek side salad and some hummus it was around 25 bucks, but it’s a lot of food, seems fresher leveraging nicer ingredients, and it tastes better… so what can you do? I’ll continue to fight my gyro wrap addiction… one day at a time.

I’m saddened to see that this place hasn’t gotten better reviews. I’ve been here a number of times, with small & big groups, and the food & service have always been spot on. I would recommend any of the plates; can’t go wrong with the chicken or lamb souvlaki and the lamb shawurma. All plates come with rice, a side salad and a few pieces of pita bread. Definitely the best value there. I have yet to try the wraps, but would agree with other Unilocalers that they should offer sides with them, if only a handful of fries or a side salad. There is a large selection of sides, from kabob to dolmas to falafel. The beverage selection’s not too shabby, either. There’s a DIY soda station, or you can choose from a variety of teas in the refrigerated section. They also serve Panini sandwiches and a decent Kids Menu to round out the menu. Quick & easy lunch fix. LIghter alternative to other lunch spots in the area. Flavorful & yummers. :)

This might be the only place for shawerma in San Ramon? The lunch menu includes paninis, salads, gyros, wraps, kebab plates, falafel, dolmas, hummus, spanakopita, etc. You order up front and they bring the food to you. Some of the menu items are non-traditional: Caesar salad, piroshky, paninis. They have several $ 5.99 lunch specials. I had the lamb shawerma wrap($ 7.25). They also have chicken and beef shawerma. The wrap was huge and filled with non-traditional things: tabouli, hummus, shredded cabbage(odd), tomatoes, cucumbers, red onions, and shaved pieces of lamb. It was served with tzatziki sauce on the side. The lamb was a bit dry and too thick but fairly tasty. Though they added weird things to the wrap, I enjoyed the abundance of fresh parsley, strong garlicky flavor, and fresh veggies. I like how they grilled the lavash but not how the wrap was OPEN-ended(things kept falling out). The soda machine is in the dining room, so you get free refills. The décor is quite simple with pictures of the food and Greece on the walls.

I was a little surprised at this place. From the star rating, I had expected it to be a sit down restaurant, not an order at the counter then sit down type of place. The food itself was pretty good. It would have been nice if they had a combination platter to share(eg. hummus, dolmas, tabouli(sp?), babaganoosh(sp?) and pita)…Anyway, we had a plate of pita and hummus to start. The folks each had a lamb gyros with salad. I had the combination kabob(lamb, beef, chicken) which came with rice and salad. The Greek salad was the best part all together. Nicely dressed and fresh veggies with lovely amounts of feta and kalamata olives. The rice was nicely flavored(mostly chicken broth I would venture to say) and the meat was good. Overall great price for the portions and quality. This is like fast-greek food. Overall, I would give it a 3.75 stars. Oh, I will be back if the BF doesn’t keel over from the garlic burps. Did I mention their hummus was pretty good?
