Came in today to have my sunglasses looked at. Not only did Pete fix them he did it quickly and with excellent customer service! I will be coming back whenever we have problems with our glasses. I recommend this shop to anyone with glasses.

I’m from New Jersey (like Pete), where «The Customer is Always Right» still exists when you patronize a store. He takes you under his wing like you were related to him and treats you with the level of personal attention that is nonexistent these days. He overextends himself to get you exactly what you want in a timely fashion at the most reasonable price possible. He is in a strip mall so the parking is always convenient.
I was his customer when he was in Concord and although I live in W.C., I followed him to S.R. because he’s worth it. He has extended himself in ways that went out with doctor house calls.

Please support our small businesses so that we can all profit from this caliber of service. It’s a win/​win situation.

This is a GREAT place for glasses of all types. Pete is an experienced professional who addresses your individual needs.

I had two eyeglasses that needed repair. One had a missing nose pad, and the other had its hinges damaged. I was interested in going to the Eyelab Factory Outlet because of its close proximity from my home and its excellent Unilocal reviews.
I called before I came in to find out their hours of operation, their prices to fix my eyeglasses, and how long it would take to repair them. He answered all my questions and I found out that his name was Pete (the owner). I only had one of my eyeglasses to repair that day, so I figured that if he did a satisfactory job, I would bring in my 2^nd pair.
When I arrived, I was able to meet Pete and he was able to repair both of my nose pads in about a minute. He even gave me the option on what size of nose pads I wanted, mentioning to me that if I wanted a different one, I can always come back in on another day to replace them at no charge. At the end to repair my nose pads, he charged me $ 10 as he quoted me over the phone. I was satisfied.
A couple of days later, I brought in my 2^nd pair of eyeglasses which he was able to repair my hinges. He didn’t charge me anything for that. I was definitely very happy with his customer service and I will come back here again the next time I need any other repairs. The next time I need a new pair of eyeglasses, I will check his store out in the near future. Thanks Pete!

Pete repaired a pair of glasses for me several years ago and for some reason I never made it back even though he did a great job. Boy, was that a mistake. I went back to Pete this summer for a repair and a new prescription. Great experience — except for one thing — it made me remember how I had been getting totally ripped off everywhere else! Pete at Eyelab Factory Outlet is the one person who made me feel that he «got it». I would take my concerns over my eyeglasses to my optometrist, but the office would always say that the Rx «looked all right». They were not listening to what I was describing. Pete listened and tailored my (progressive len) Rx to exactly what I had been wanting all long. It makes such a difference to talk directly to the optician about what you need.

I have been coming to Pete for several years. He has always been extremely nice, helpful & knowlegeable. He has great taste in glasses & is fabulous at helping you find the right pair that you like. I would highly recommend Pete anytime. Recently I had to pay for a pair of glasses & he recommended me to a website to possibly get reimbursed. I would have never had any idea.

Pete is great. He really works with you to find the right set of glasses. He will talk with the doctor if he thinks something is wrong with the prescription. He has saved our butt a couple of times when our glasses had a mishap. My husband –stepped– on his at a run and thought they were goners. Pete managed to put them back in working order so we could wait for the insurance to cycle. My husband also broke the temple off of a different pair and Pete found a replacement temple in his stash so we didn’t have to pay for one. It didn’t match the other side but you can really only see one side at a time so my husband didn’t care.
