This is a great place! The staff were engaging and helpful from the minute I asked about their delicious and smooth drip coffee, and were happy to talk about the antique coffee roaster which belonged to famed entrepreneur Alfred Peet before I paid for my order. Which was only $ 2! Compared to chains like Starbucks, this coffee is a steal.

Good coffee in a sort of weird out of the way spot(probably bc they need the space to roast) with a strange, semi-comfortable office park interior. Maybe it’s not the sort of coffee shop where you want to spend the day in chatting with a friend, but it doesn’t mean you can’t get your coffee to go and find some great nearby vista for the chat.

Up here for the holiday weekend from LA and needed our coffee fix. This place was actually a surprise find out here. Regular laid back shop and they are very nice. What counts? The coffee rocks. I’ve been getting almond milk caps and the gal nonfat caps. Each time we’ve been here at least three? It’s been great drinks, smooth froth and the coffee has a nice rich charming taste without any burnt flavors. I have the location bookmarked!

I’ve ordered coffees from all over the country and think Weaver’s is one of the best. I generally prefer a lighter roast for my Chemex drip and find most West Coast coffees to be overly roasted. Weaver’s coffees appear a bit on the dark side, however the fruit and nutty nuances remain. A great roaster and superb coffees with great aroma and flavor. My go to.

I came here in search of an amazing cup of coffee, and I found it! This place is a little off the beaten path in terms of location, but worth the visit. I ordered a flat white, and it was robust, mellow, creamy and smooth, with just a little kick, all at the same time. Can’t wait to come again for my morning jolt.

Friendly, convenient, quick, clean, comfy chairs, good strong coffee & latte’s, loose leaf teas and huge variety of roasted coffee beans. Often over looked because of its location squished between two hotel/motels in the Canal area of San Rafael.

All I did was get an americano. It tasted like an americano. I can’t say I was overly impressed or disappointed. The place was clean, and totally empty. I hung out for like an hour and half and used their wifi, and felt a little awkward because no one else was in there. A few people came in and ordered a coffee and then left, but no one stayed. The woman was super nice and didn’t give me a hard time for hanging out for a while. They were playing wrestling on the TV, which was a little strange for a coffee shop, but hey, to each his own! The parking was kinda confusing — there were some signs out front that said reserved for tenant and then some 5 min parking, but as it turns out you can just park in them and it’s fine.

My sister and I were staying at the Inn across the street from this place while we were in town for our brother’s wedding. We were pretty stoked that we had a coffee shop that we could just walk over to in the mornings, it was really convenient. Even better, when we tried the actual coffee there, it was great! It had a robust flavor, and my sister is a coffee fanatic, and she was impressed as well. It’s a small, cute little place and I definitely enjoyed it while we were in town for a couple of days.

I ordered a basic french roast drip coffee and was very impressed. I like my coffee bold, and Weaver’s delivered a cup with a lot of flavor and quite a bite. The coffee was fresh and reasonably priced. The cinnamon roll was also tasty and raisin-free(why anyone puts raisins in cinnamon rolls boggles my mind). As an added bonus, the wifi not only works but is reasonably fast!

We had jumper cable(mix of butter, shot of espresso, coconut oil, vanilla extract) and surprisingly it was really rich and had a nice flavor. The cold brew has been brewed for 16 hours. Really nice! They have a big selection of coffee and tea. Small but clean place.

I didn’t find anything very special or unique about this place. My boyfriend and I both tried a hot coffee, two different roasts and neither was very delicious… I will give the iced coffee a chance as I see all the great reviews on here and feel as though I must be missing something?

If you’re serious about the quality of your coffee, this is the spot. You can smell the bouquet when your near the location. They have so many blends, and all of them are so good and unique with their own aromas, and bodies. They care about fair trade and being organic. They roast their coffee there. Love this location and the staff. And you can also buy the burlap sacks. I love Weavers!

How I the heck have I missed this for so long?!! As a Peets fan from Berkeley days, I can’t believe I have a master roaster and taster from that providence so close to me and can now just go get freshly roasted, lovingly sourced beans a couple of miles from my house. The shop is not in an area, nor of the ambiance, where I’m likely to have it be my sit down coffee house, but will be where I go now for fantastic coffee. Yippee!

LOVE this place! My husband and I are coffee snobs(ugh) and this is about as good as it gets. Espresso was perfect, the drip coffee delish. Many selections of tea, etc. and the staff is awesome. The parking lot is tiny and the place is a little out of the way, but it’s so worth it — go check it out!

In search of a coffee spot that would erase the bad memories from Philz Coffee, we found Weaver’s Coffee. Its a very small shop but with a lot to offer. I went with my usual«basic» order, vanilla latte and my bf ordered the white mocha latte. We both loved our lattes! Both drinks were incredibly smooth and had a good kick that will wake you up. If you are in the San Rafael area this place is worth checking out.

This was a poor experience. Each time I asked for a cold brew, the woman replied, «You want iced coffee?» No. Cold brew please. «Iced coffee?» Note to all, cold brew and iced coffee are not synonymous. The cold brew is not good, if in fact, that is what she gave me. It’s bitter, acidic, and tastes of burnt beans. I asked for a savory croissant, on recommend of a review here. The woman just bagged it and handed it to me. She didn’t ask if I’d like it warmed up. And the croissant is not good, to boot. It’s more bread than it is croissant. I engaged the woman with a smile and kindness, she would not make eye contact. Sub par product, poor customer service. Perhaps I caught them on a bad day… Regardless, I will not return nor recommend.

There is no coffee like Weaver’s Coffee. Oh sure, there are plenty of places to get a latte or cup o’ drip, but none of them can compare. There is a deep, smoky richness about their brew that satisfies on a very deep level. Rich and robust stuff that gets your morning off to a great start. The staff are friendly and experts at their craft, and even if you have to wait a bit, it’s worth it!

Strange spot to have a location, but worth the time to seek out. Store front is not exactly eye-catching, but once you have been here that initial time it is easy enough to find again. Store is pretty no-descript but clean with stock laid out pretty well. Staff were friendly and super helpful. I had an excellent cappuccino and bought a pound of grounds for a press, which I tasted today and it too was excellent. Worth another visit and taking a detour to find.

Worth a return? Yes Worth a 30 minute drive? Yes – I drive out here from SF twice a month for some of the best roasted beans in the world Worth a flight? If you are a connoisseur of roasters, then yes Favorite: 2 lbs of peru organic beans from the self serve bean dispenser(comes with a discount) I’ve made the rounds of third wave roasters. Blue Bottle, SIghtglass, Ritual Roasters, etc. If you take away the attitude and hipster baristas, two Bay Area roasters stand out: Highwire in Oakland and Weaver’s in San Rafael. At Weaver’s, everything is about quality, not pretension. Case in point: if you buy 2 lbs+ from their fresh bulk bin dispensers, they give you a discount. I think it’s about 15%($ 22 – 26 for 2 lbs depending on what beans you pick). And, yes, you can get as many different beans as you like, as long as they add up to 2 lbs+. They save on unnecessary packaging, and you save on some of the finest, freshest, roasted beans in the Bay Area. You do the math comparing it to the 12 oz mini bags that Blue Bottle sells(2 lbs at Blue Bottle would come out to about $ 50). Our favorite roasts are the Peru Organic. Also the Holiday Blend was excellent, and Astral Blend is good(but a bit more expensive). The people there are genuine. Very nice, responsive, and long timers. It may be hard to find – and a bit in a warehouse district, but it’s one of the few places I go back to regularly 26 times a year.

I came here on a Saturday at 10:30 a.m. It’s located in sort of a weird location and is not off a main street. There is a parking lot out front that says Tenants Only, which is rather confusing if you are a customer. I decided to park there anyways, so let’s hope that I don’t get a ticket. This place is tricky to rate since the coffee is pretty good(4 stars), but the atmosphere absolutely sucks(2 stars). My small mocha was cheap at $ 3 and included a double shot in their standard recipe. It had a nice balance between espresso and chocolate flavor, with neither one overpowering the other. I was happy with my mocha. The atmosphere on the other hand absolutely drove me nuts. The place is small, yet there is a large TV playing some kind of nature program featuring tigers. Most people don’t go to coffee shops to watch TV, especially nature programs, so I have no idea why someone thought this setup would be a good idea. The interior design in here is really, really bad. Aside from the TV, the seating is not functional, and consists of only two small sofa chairs and one L-shaped table. The rest of the space has the coffee displayed(which they roast on-site) in a way that makes me think I’m at a church craft sale. Super awkward and uncomfortable environment. If you come here, definitely get your drink to-go.
