Salon Karma

The place is «fine» for an easy and cheap haircut. Men’s cuts are $ 12. It is probably a toss up at that price. Our friend was completely satisfied with his haircut from here, but my boyfriend’s (henceforth, BF) had to be fixed up.
I went with BF the other day and as I was parking he started getting his haircut. Salon Karma is inside a tiny little shopping area, so you won’t see it straight from the street. I believe most of the hairdressers do not speak English as they were having a bit of a communication breakdown when I got there — he wanted his «man bun» left untouched, she was holding a pair of scissors to them saying «this too?» (in Spanish). I explained what he wanted done to her, but while he decided whether he wanted a 1.5 or 2 guard, she rolled her eyes quite a bit. Her exasperation made BF feel rushed, and he decided to just leave it at the current two. She put man bun back into ponytail and we left. In true BF fashion, she still received a hell of a tip.
When we got home, he realized that part of the hair left behind wasn’t actually in the ponytail, so we had to go over the haircut and fix it ourselves. Megh. For having to cut his hair myself, I’d rather either a) do it myself to begin with or b) go to more expensive place that I will not have to fix up.
Having said all that, he may still go back.

It takes a certain level of skill for a person to work around my oddly-​shaped head.
I have went in for a bald-​fade from the same woman twice now, and for 12 bucks she did an amazing job.
Judging from the hair of other clients, I am very impressed with the quality of work they do.

Great place to get a hair cut. Very frendly staff. Been going here since I can remember. Really recommend checking it out.

First time here. The place is pretty and everybody was very welcoming. $ 12 hair cut could not get any better. They rock. My new place to get a hair cut.
