Top notch customer service!
I’ve been shopping at Rocky’s for many years and have never been disappointed. Recently I ordered an 8 lb roast beef for a dinner party and it was the best I’ve had in a long time! Roy seasoned it up and cooked it on the rotisserie for me and it was ready on time!
Roy’s staff are polite and always willing to accommodate a request. Plus their ribs are delish!

Roy and the family are great at what they do.
They make great deli sandwiches and they are an amazing butcher shop. I eat there at least once a week and have done that for at least the past 3 yrs, I have yet to have a less than stellar experience.

Sorry, this place is over-​rated.
Sandwiches are so-​so.
The staff tries too hard be friendly; just make a good sandwich, please.

6– stars!!! Today I went into Rocky’s with my mom for the first time. I came to buy steak to cook my first steak. I am 10-​years-​old. The butcher behind the counter who helped me was awesome. He he taught me how to choose a good steak and the darker the color means it’s aged and more tender. He then told me how to cook the perfect steak. The steak turned out excellent!!! I’ll be back to try some other meats and learn some more ways to cook meat.

In full disclosure, I used to work in a butcher shop back east when I was younger and I’m pretty picky as a result.
So, went in to order one Rocky’s well renowned marinated trip-​tips on the way home from work one day and realized after ordering that I didn’t have my wallet (yes spent the day without it!). No problem says Roy, just stop back and pay when you can, I’ll throw an I.O.U. in the cash box. So, not only was the meat delicious but it’s pretty hard to find that kind of service these days. Thanks Roy!
If you haven’t tried their BBQ you are missing out. Super easy to pick up for dinner too!
Ordering a first cut, 3 rib roast today for Christmas, yummy.

Just dissatisfied when the wait staff started speaking in Spanish as though we could not understand what they were saying. It was rude and they shouldn’t be speaking in Spanish halfway through an order about things that other people are talking about on the other side of the glass. Wake up people… your snarky comments are understood as it is the 21rst century.

Every Friday afternoon Dante is outside cooking up marinated tri-​tip, ribs and smoked chicken. You can’t go wrong with any choice you make. Delicious !
The deli has quality meats and fish, Safeway can’t compare.
And if you want a perfect deli sandwich for lunch you came to the right place.
Reasonably priced and fulfilling.
The staff here is professional, friendly and efficient. They always make you feel welcome.
I have been coming here for several years now and decided it was time to share my opinion.

Found this spot on our drive from SF to Mendocino. So happy we did. I’ll be stopping up here everytime we do the drive north. Quality sandwich. Meats, topping and bread are top of the line perfect.
We split the Italian and a Turkey special.
Loved the Italian. Other Unilocalers have posted pics, check it out. It’s awesome.
Next time I hope to split the italian and also try one of their pork sandwiches… they looked tasty.

OMG… totally random pit stop off the freeway. We had to park for a couple of hours to take care of some personal business. Saw a subway on the corner from where we parked and went to grab a quick bite before my last 20 miles of RV adventure when I spotted a small sign across the street advertising Pulled Pork. May have been one of the best I’ve ever tasted. Check it out… now time to get back on The American Wine Trail

I haven’t tried the meats but the sandwiches are so flippin good! I love all the ingredients and no matter how long the line is, you still move rather quickly. I’m glad I discovered this little gem. The parking is kind of a pain but the sandwich I’m grubbing on is totally worth it.

I got «The Italian» sandwich the other day and I was not disappointed. Absolutely delicious! How can you go wrong with Salame, Mortadella, and Hot Coppa?! The guy who made our sandwiches was also very friendly. My boyfriend and I will definitely be going back.

Great family owned butcher shop.
The housemade sausages are delicious! They are great to take on trips and if you call ahead they will actually vacuum seal them to make for better packing.
Also, their prime rib is amazing. I spent 3x as much for wholefoods prime rib and was always disappointed but Rocky’s prime rib is so much cheaper and better marbling.
The employees are all friendly and helpful. They will cut your meat into cubes when you ask for it.

Nothing but good, great things to say. I love their meats always fresh and tasty. But on Friday, they break out the smoker and oh boy. Great chicken, ribs and sirloin tips. I love Rockys
