We have bought glasses twice here for my now five year old. Both times Fleur was super patient and helpful as we picked frames and discussed options. She took the time to explain the pros and cons of all our options and I was very happy with the quality and choices we made. She has a wide selection of frames for his age group — from headband ones that are über flexible to stylish raybans to sports goggle type glasses and more Great selection. I love that they offer a warranty to replace the lenses if they get scratched or his prescription changes. So nice. And she even was able to extend a generous discount to help me out. We are loyal customers!

I am happy I did. I have been wearing glasses for over 40 years and never really satisfied with the choice of frames some of the vendors peddle – and if you go back say a year or two later to just change the lens, the standard answer is, «Sorry, we don’t carry that frame anymore and you’ll have to pick out new one’s-and we have a deal if you get a second pair.»
I brought a bag of glasses to Fleur and I wanted a brand new pair plus I would like to see if the 3 pair I brought with me could be re-​lensed for (1) computer glasses, (2) distance prescription sunglasses for driving, and (3) another spare. The frames were from different manufacturer’s and Fleur had said «Not a problem!»
Two weeks later, I picked up my new glasses as promised and I have been wearing for a week and am very happy with the results.
When they actually arrived she asked me to wait 24 hours so she could check the prescription against the actual lenses. After some minor fitting adjustments, I was on my way.
Some eye doctors will have a side business in their offices to peddle new glasses as a one-​stop shop, but the choices are, in my opinion-​limited and belong in a suitcase on a corner in Times Square.

I recently had a great experience with Fleur and Fleur Optique services. Some months earlier, I had a bad experience with an optometrist, who prescribed my first pair of progressive lenses — I felt seasick when I wore them, and I felt like I had been rushed into making a decision about the frames. I still do not wear these expenses lenses/​frames. More recently, I decided to give Fleur a try. She explained everything in detail, she helped me think through the right choices for lenses, coatings, and frames. The glasses are comfortable and I can see perfectly. I will continue to get my glasses and frames from Fleur.

I began to search online for some eyewear establishments so as to find a shape and style I had in mind but could not find at Larkspur optometry (where I obtained glasses for the first time 1 year ago). Optique de Fleur completely lived up to the excellent reviews I read! An outstanding assortment of stylish glasses, Fleur found the pair of my dreams within 3 minutes of describing what I was envisioning, but brought me a few similar for comparison. Both Kat and Fleur were very personable, professional and informative. I felt I was in good hands from the get go. I would highly recommend this jewel of a place. Super good service.

Jim Toso has left his business in great hands with Fleur and Kat. Great customer service and always going the extra step. I have a very strong prescription and
Fleur always picks the right frames for my lenses. As others have said Flleur takes the time to make my glasses fit perfectly.

We were recommended to Optique de Fleur and we had a great experience! My two daughters were needing new glasses and Fleur was really helpful in helping them choose glasses that were the style they were hoping for and would flatter their faces. They couldn’t wait until their glasses came in. When we went to pick them up, she made sure they fit well and did all the adjustments to make sure they were comfortable. They walked out of her office with big smiles!
Previous times they would wear their glasses for a while, but now they wear them all the time. I would definitely recommend Optique de Fleur as they are very knowledgeable and great with both adults and children.

This place is the best! Of the collection of frames that Fleur sells there, she and her assistant have a lot of frames. Waiting time usually a week, but it is worth it! Always come here to update my frames.

Fleur is an expert at fitting glasses. She has many years of experience and has a lot of patience for kids. She fitted my little girl in LaFonts which are too adorable. You are in good hands with Fleur and Kat!

Optique de Fleur is the place to go for a custom fitting for glasses or contacts. Over the years I have tried several other small optical shops in the Bay area. One upscale boutique, Lassa Frank was pricey and the opticians were untrained, and inexperienced. As a Kaiser member I could and have tried their services; oh well, they do an okay job however, they are not inexpensive!
Fleur Nelson is a complete professional. She knows lenses and how they will fit into the frames you select. She and her assistant are always accomodating, competent and friendly. Jim Toso, the former owner, continues to provide expert contact fittings. While small and independently owned, Optique de Fleur offers reasonable and fair pricing. Try them, you’ll be happy you did.
