Thank you Minako for making me feel beautiful. Minako approaches hair like an artist. She takes her time and asks you about your needs and plans a cut that makes sense for your lifestyle. Even my thinning 60-​something hair looks vibrant and thick now!

After living in Marin for the last four years and bouncing from stylist to barber all over the county without much success, I was happy to stumble upon Minako through Unilocal.I made an appointment and prepared her best I could for the bird’s nest atop my head. The hair cut experience was great! Minako asked all the right questions to help her find the exact right style for me and her technique is mesmerizing. She was economical and prudent not going overboard on anything and my hair is just right for the first time in four years — even got a big thumbs up from my wife!
I highly recommend Minako.
If I could, I’d take off ½ star reduction is for the Salon itself which was a little disheveled and a few of the other stylists were conversing about business subjects that I probably should not have been exposed to.

This is my first appointment with Minako and she gave me a fantastic haircut. My hair is a challenge because it is wavy in some areas, straight in others, and there is a lot of it! Minako was careful to notice the changes in waviness and even the direction of the wave and tailored the cut to the particulars of my hair. I am very happy with the outcome and will be making another appointment.
