Ordered over the phone for pickup. Food was great. Just make sure to check your order of you pickup. I literally bought some food for my family that I was visiting and they only filled the trays half way. Be ware!

First time and did not like it. Rude customer service, very dirty and had a very weird smell. I did not like my food and asked to get something else and she said«we don’t do samples«After that I will be not returning especially I had to pay my whole tab. Very Unsatisfied.

Guess I’m still on my search for good Chinese food in Marin. The meal started off great, a couple of beers, the complimentary egg drop soup was quite delish as were the egg rolls which weren’t not greasy at all. Dinner went downhill after that. We ordered the Hong Kong Pan Fried Noodles with Prawns and String Bean Mushroom Chicken w/rice. I will say that you get A LOT of food. While the veggies in both dishes were crisp and delicious the dishes lacked flavor and adding chili sauce didn’t rescue them. The pan fried noodles weren’t what we expected as they seemed to have come from a package. I’m just puzzled at the good reviews. Little Mandarin was packed with families clearly enjoying their meals. Perhaps we ordered incorrectly, but for us there won’t be a next time.

Came here by recommendation and cause of the good reviews. But I must have came on an off day, because the customer service was terrible. I had to go get my own menu and drinks. Also the tables were filthy. We ordered Mongolian beef over steam rice. The beef tasted burnt and dry. Honestly I think I went in with high hopes but i will never come back. 1 star is too much for this place and I try to be fair. Also dont forget its cash only place.

Chinese is my favorite food. And I really like this place because they have fresh food. I like it spicy and when I asked them to get it well spicy, they made extra spicy for me. Definitely recommended!

Came here with 11 members of my family. We were extremely hungry as we came here straight from hiking and gallivanting around Point Reyes. We walked in and they were already full and busy. But they were able to quickly turn around some tables that were finishing up. We got sat, got our complimentary egg flower soup. My group was 3 different families and they didn’t have any issue with us paying with 3 separate receipts. Food was great, although I can’t say so much about the taste. Like I said, my family and I were exhausted from hiking and we were famished. Once we got our food, we dug in. Food tasted like any other Chinese food, but also keep in mind, we were HUNGER. But I would still give this place 5 stars because they were so accommodating and quick. Our food was hot and fresh and the people that served us were pleasant and accurate. Finally, Chinese food portions are huge! Food was under $ 10 per place and the portions are huge! Pretty much each person that ordered, ended up packing the rest of their food to go. I’m a fan of this place and so is the rest of my family. They loved the food and casualness of the place. I totes recommend :)

Yummy food, inexpensive, great and fast service(at a busy time); they truly know how to manage in the kitchen. I’m only sorry I’ve only now discovered the place. The service was so fast(for take-out), that I was about to increase my order, thinking I had some time and when staff came to me, it was with my order. Wow! They have a big take-out following but the service was so good n fast, the line flew.

LOVELOVELOVETHISPLACE! Since I’ve been here, im a frequent customer since I work down the street. I don’t ever get the time to check in or take pictures because I’m always so hungry and eager to eat lol. When I first came here, I was surprised at how busy this place was. It’s a little hole in the wall type place, well to me it was… A lot of seating but if you are in a rush to eat, I would say to go early so you can get seating because it packs up really quick. I sat down with a friend for lunch and she told me to not order so much because they have huge portions… I was thinking they would be as big as to go plates are, especially since the prices are cheap/decent. The food came out hot and fast, took me by surprise to see the food filled the whole plate and piled up like a little hill. Immediately I dug right in, the food was amazing, I didn’t get to finish the whole plate but took some to go to eat for later… Ever since my first experience this is my to go Chinese spot in Marin. Thank you for the fast service and yummy food!

Love the consistency and speed. Tasty, inexpensive and large portions obviously cooked within seconds of ordering make me really like this place. It’s always packed and I’m always in a hurry so I have never sat down. It’s a grubby(albeit clean) little hole in the wall that obviously places emphasis on food rather than ambiance, which is fine with me. When I’m hungry I want delicious food, like right now, and Little Mandarin does that. Have only ordered chicken chow mein on the fly when I’m rushing around in a hurry and in the area but it’s been on different days and at completely different times of day and EVERYTIME it has been perfect; tons of chicken with none of those creepy little inedible bits that you usually get at least one of at other places. The veg is plentiful, fresh, always has a pleasant texture and still has it’s color, yay. Noodles? Check. Properly proportioned and perfectly textured. Great overall flavor too — not too much of the sesame/soy flavor that many places use to mask inferior ingredients. I also like that I cannot taste the oil they use to cook with. There’s none of that slightly rancid essence lurking in the background thankuverymuch… This is just fresh chicken, noodles, vegetables and seasonings assembled perfectly every time and FAST. Only gave 4 * simply because they could do a little more to prettify the place, it’s cash only and I’ve only eaten one thing. Will be trying a beef dish next time and will update accordingly.

I heard someone saying that Little Mandarin was a hole in the wall. Well it’s a small place indeed and it’s always packed. I guess it sucks when you want to eat there during peak hours because, again, it gets packed. It’s always busy because the food is so good. I’ve been going there for over 9 years, the food still delicious and consistent. I always get it to go now, faster and I don’t have to worry about waiting for a table. But if you’re lucky and get a table, you’ll be eating in less than 10 minutes haha. I love this place.

Loyal since the 90’s. My mom used to bring my sister and I to this restaurant since I was about 5. The food is the best. Every Time I see the owner it’s like a flash to the past. She is so sweet. The prices are super reasonable and portions could last two days. I have ate Chinese food in fancy restaurants but nothing compares to little mandarins! Keep up the yummy food! I plan to bring my kids here :) make it a family tradition

I have been coming here since I was a student at Dominican University. And for being a student on a budget, Little Mandarin was the spot to go to. This«hole in the wall,» should not be underestimated because their food is jam-packed on a plate with great flavor! My personal favorite and go to choice on the menu is, Mandarin Beef with fried rice! I have also tried many other items like String Bean Chicken, Garlic Chicken, Mongolian Beef, and Mushroom Beef. All entrees are served over rice, unless otherwise requested. I would hold out on the appetizers because the food platters are grand! Now that I’ve graduated, I make occasional trips here, but each trip and taste only adds to my memories.

They are cash only-had to walk down the block to CVS. There is no parking. They don’t even take time to get your order, «what’s your order?» Very rude and lacking customer service skills. This particular establishment also claims«no MSG» but I sure did take a nap afterward. I ordered chow mein, fried rice, and sweet & sour chicken. My plate had 3 bites of chow mein and a pound of rice, spare me the rice and run me my nuudul. This review is of my personal opinion and experience granted by the first amendment. This is not to portray slander in any form.

I’ve been coming here since high school which is was a while ago… and the food is still hella yummy! That Mongolian beef so so tasty and it’s even better spicy with the chili oil. You mix it all around and you have one satisfying meal. If you dine in the restaurant, you get a lil bowl of happiness called egg drop soup, which helps cures the winter blues. I recently discovered the Little Mandarin special, which comes with either chicken or beef and mushrooms(my newfound friend). Its like the Mongolian beef, but more garlicky and less onion-y. Their beef chow fun is also really tasty. The flat noodles are always so satisfying, especially since combo kind closed down at the mall. While the décor is plain, this is one of those gems that you had no idea was so good. I’ll be dreaming about you, you tasty plates you…
