I have yet to have something I didn’t love from Le Croissant. We’ve ordered breakfast and lunch alike. They make some delicious omelets and scrambles, and no doubt their sugary carb-loads are delicious. They also make a mean Reuben. The location and atmosphere are good– it has a feel of having been around for a long time– a cozy, upcycled diner that you feel comfortable walking into. The service is flawless, they always have fresh specials on their board and the prices are more than fair. The ONLY reason they walk away with a four-star instead of a five from me is that I’ve seen a few things go into the microwave that don’t jive with me. Chances are I will change my mind the next time we go back, because what I’ve seen go into the mic all seems to be for melting garnishes onto a dish as a last stop.

I have had many breakfasts and an occasional sandwich at lunch. The breakfast service is fast and reasonably priced. The food is good and there are many regulars. So – an OK diner in an area where good breakfasts are not generally available.

Service is prompt, friendly, food is DELICIOUS. Get the breakfast burrito, you won’t regret it. I’ve eaten here several times, and I have never been let down. The huevos rancheros are pretty fantastic too. Reasonable prices and old-skool diner style, with endless coffee and absolutely no pretense. We’ve never had lunch here but we will, I’m sure. I almost don’t want to write this review because it might make my wait a little bit longer… but they deserve high praise, so I’ll risk it. In short: Le Croissant is my new favorite spot for breakfast in Marin. Give it a shot.

This was a nice restaurant, but it was very crowded. If you don’t like small restaurants come before lunch.

My office orders from Le Croissant for lunch sometimes for our once a week staff meeting. Every time I have been there, something unpleasant has occurred. Once, we waited an hour because the waitresses couldn’t figure out that our order was ready, when it had been sitting there packaged, almost the whole time. Another time we came in to pick up our food, they stuffed all of our 10 orders into two paper bags, where most of the orders were either squished in the bag, or they were dropped when we tried to pick up the overflowing bags. They just stared, ultimately annoyed, watching me clean up the mess. Then, one of the waitresses turned to me with an annoyed look saying, «Well, what do you want me to do about it?» Uhhh. Remake it??! I was shocked by the response I was given, especially since I’m a waitress and know very well the do’s and dont’s of customer service. We then waited, dirty looks and all while our new food was made. I will never return here after all the terrible customer service I’ve received. It’s clear they don’t want our company’s business either, which is a shame, since we bring lots of orders to them. Thanks for making this review easier to write, Le Croissant. Also, I posted a picture of one of our orders, the bacon cheeseburger. Talk about a let down.

I just had my mind blown by a bacon, egg, and avocado croissant sandwich. Highly recommended.

This place is off the beaten path. Food was plentiful and very tasty. Service was great. I will definitely go back!

Staff was really nice and super large portions. Staff was very accommodating and stood out the most. The food was decent, waffles, it’s more like Mexican and American food, not French.

Stopped in for breaky today. Ordered eggs, sausage and French Toast. Washed it down with fresh hot coffee and fresh squeezed o.j. My food was served quickly. Large portions and took half of it home. I thought service was attentive and my coffee cup was kept full without asking. At 9:30am, the place was full and several patio tables occupied. Kind of noisy but will eat here again. This restaurant is situated next to a busy street and an automotive business, fumes from cars are sometimes an issue for patio diners or if the door is open for indoor diners. They only take ATM or cash as payment.

Ordered a blueberry muffin. When I got back to work & looked in my bag I had some sort of walnut blueberry orange muffin. Gave it away.

This place is, hands down, my favorite breakfast spot in Marin County. The food is great, the service is perfect, and if I were to become a «regular» anywhere for breakfast, it would be here. Be sure to try the baked goods… they are better than nearly any other place in the SF Bay Area. Without any of the usual«foodie» pretenses… which makes it even better.

Something has happened here and the oversight on basic quality has gone away. Who’s watching over the uninformed, poorly trained staff here? Today I purchased a cinnamon twist that was ice cold and the sugar on top was slimy because it was leftover from the day before and refrigerated then sold as fresh. Wow! Unbelievable! In the same day I purchased two almond croissants. One was ok. The other had been split but didn’t have any of the almond filling. Where is the quality control at this family, neighborhood eatery?

My croissant was as big as my head. Seriously. My only regret is that I didn’t make it a breakfast sandwich.

Excellent food. Western omelette was amazing with bigger chunks of veggies and mushrooms. I got it with swiss cheese and hash browns. My husband got a croissant breakfast sandwich with sausage and cheddar cheese. Yummy!

I’m a fairly big fan of this old-fashioned diner! I tried their breakfast burrito, and I honestly get weekly cravings for it now. Their portions are quite sizable, whether it’s the almond croissant, the burrito, or their breakfast plates. Their burrito is my absolute favorite however — I particularly enjoy the red sauce on it, and also including avocado in the burrito. Additionally, they squeeze a fantastic amount of food into the delicious tortilla. Just writing about it makes me want to get it tomorrow for breakfast! While parking on the street is quite find-able, they also have a parking lot on the side. Their service is decent and the staff is all friendly. Definitely making this a regular breakfast place for me!

This is definitely one of the best breakfasts that I’ve ever had. I went out of my way to eat here twice in three days during my trip to California because I couldn’t get enough. Obviously, the croissants are amazing(and enormous), but everything else is equally as good. My boyfriend fell in love with the breakfast burrito. It was topped with red and green chili sauce that gave it a mild, enjoyable kick. Just make sure you get a side of sour cream with it. Other favorite dishes of ours include the huevos rancheros, as well as the corned beef hash and the the breakfast sandwich special served on a croissant. The place is a little rundown and the overall ambiance is certainly nothing to brag about, but all of those things are easily overlooked after your first bite of breakfast. I would take off a half star rating if I could, but I feel that it deserves a five star rating more than a four star rating.

This small little diner has great breakfast options. My boyfriend and I are obsessed with their breakfast burrito. It’s huge! It is definitely enough to share considering how much food is packed into the tortilla. The red salsa they put on top is my favorite! The green salsa is great as well. We recently tried their almond croissants and they were delicious! For $ 3.95, I was shocked to see how big their almond croissants are. They also put a good amount of almond paste in it. The waiters are pretty friendly as well! Don’t miss their small parking lot on the side, we accidentally drove past it the last time we went!

Seems like a quaint little diner that you might find in a major metropolitan city. Cool vibe like that. I like the outdoor patio seating. I ordered the creolo potatoes, which came with two eggs. It was very ok. The waiter, Rolando(?) was very nice, very friendly, and managed to work the entire restaurant(which is tiny, but still busy) and the outside patio by himself without me feeling like I was being ignored. Coffee was OK. It did the job. Private parking in the back that’s shared with a couple auto repair shops. They do accept debit cards, though I brought cash because the Unilocal!listing says cash only. No credit.

Le Croissant remains an oldie but goodie! I used to come every Sunday with my dad when I was a kid. He’d order the corn beef hash with coffee, and I’d get a burger with fries. He would read the Chronicle and help edit my homework assignments and college applications. This was our Sunday brunch ritual. This place always held a special place in my heart and memories. Although it was long ago, I feel like it was just yesterday that we were here. It’s been several years since I’ve been back to Le Croissant. I came here today to have lunch with an old friend, and I’m happy to report that Le Croissant is still going strong. Don’t be deceived by its French name, because Le Croissant is more like an old greasy spoon from a movie. All the smiling servers are eager to refill your coffee or ice tea. You never have to wait longer than 10 minutes for your food. Instead of the burger, I opted for the huevos rancheros and my friend ordered the Mexican eggs. Both dishes were delicious and filling(I’m currently nursing a food coma as I write these words, and my brunch was over 4 hours ago!). Menu highlights here include: the burger, the club sandwich, their famous breakfast burrito(which is the size of a football), the corn beef hash, omelettes, and other brunch items. Although I haven’t tried them myself, I hear good things about their cappuccino and pastries. Word to the wise: this place is so old-school that they only accept cash(no credit cards, thank you very much). So please plan accordingly. All in all, I’m so glad to have re-discovered this old diner. I look forward to making this place a new brunch tradition and creating new memories.

Stopped in because I’d heard good things about the breakfast burrito. It was good. Not great. Señor Sisig has ruined me for all burritos, forever. Server was friendly-enough but seemed sleepy. Coffee was adequate. It filled me up, reasonably priced, but nothing too special, really.
