Just moved back to the area and found myself with an unexpected dental emergency. I chose Dr. Kirby based on the good reviews and his office location.
–Plenty of parking
–Nice spacious waiting area, good open layout.
–Ann, the receptionist is very friendly and professional.
–Despite a busy schedule and me being a new patient, they fit me in the next day.
–They were on time.
–The dental assistant was very friendly and regularly checked in while I was waiting on the dentist.
–Dr. Kirby is very friendly and I found him to be upfront and honest. He wasn’t trying to sell me on anything else and he took his time, despite his busy schedule, I didn’t feel like he was rushing to get me out of there. He did an exam and then let me know he would need to refer me in order to get the problem fixed.
I was very pleased with my visit and will be going back.

I agree with the positive reviews on this page. Dr. Kirby does a great job and as others have noted, he has quite the sense of humor, which is a big help to hypersensitive cowards like me. :-)

Dr. Kirby single handedly saved my tooth when I bit on an olive pit and broke off ¾ of it. And he did it on a Saturday with out an assistant at all AND without the use of epinephrine in the novacaine which meant he had to inject novacaine every ten minutes or so (the epi keeps the area from bleeding as much but I am highly allergic to it). He crowned the tooth, saving me from needing a bridge! This was probably 10 yrs ago and I can’t thank him enough! He is amazing! Tess G.

Dr Kirby is a patient and kind dentist. He takes his time, listens to my concerns, and is always pleasant and friendly. I have been given a great referral from him for orthodontic treatment. I still see him a few times a year for cleanings and he is very thorough. His receptionist Ann is always a pleasure to speak with. Great service with a smile!

I have been a patient of Dr. Kirby for over 10 years. He and his staff have always offered to me the most high quality care at reasonable rates. I trust Dr. Kirby to recommend only the work that is needed and important for my dental care and to do an excellent job in administering the work. He and his staff are professional, courteous, and good humored. The office is clean and attractive and my wait time is never more than a few minutes. I give the practice 5 stars all around!

He was my dentist from age 4 and I never had any complaints. After 20yrs going to him, there was a mix up with my last appointment and I wrote down the wrong day. He charged me for missing the appointment, that’s his policy. I just thought after 20+ years, he’d give me the benefit of the doubt. I’m getting a new dentist now.

I’ve been a patient of Dr. Kirby for several years now, and really love his practice. Dr. Kirby knows his stuff — listens to my questions and explains things very clearly.
I’ve been there for routine cleanings, and a couple of cosmetic things, as well as for a mystery ailment (which later turned out to be a bad reaction to pine nuts which produced a harsh bitter/​metalic aftertaste for about 2 weeks! — it can happen, people!). I’ve never been disappointed with his professionalism, service, or eye for detail.
Also, Ann at the front desk is super-​nice, organized, and helpful. His dental hygenist (forget her name) is a little… hmmm…over-zealous with her cleanings. She’s a nice woman, but I definitely prefer when Dr. Kirby himself does the cleanings — and he often does. How awesome is that?!
Go see this nice man next time you have a dental issue to work out!
