Head First wig Boutique

I was hesitant to get a wig as I thought I would prefer to go bald due to the cancer treatment but then I decided to make an appointment with June at the Head First Wig Boutique after reading the reviews.
My experience at Head First was excellent. The shop is small so it is private. June was extremely helpful and after trying on 3 wigs I was done. I choose a wig that was a combination of synthetic and real hair. I loved the color and the cut. I showed my hair dresser (Kathy Lindley at Bellissima) and she was very impressed with the quality and the price of the wig.

June is very helpful and a real pro at what she does. She is also just a wonderful, upbeat person to be around. I felt very comfortable in her shop, and very comfortable with her! I highly recommend June!

I am a cancer patient and losing my hair has been very traumatic. I went to a wig shop in Sonoma County but did not get good service, so I made an appointment with June at Head First
and was delighted. She was very patient and helped me to find exactly what I was looking for, taking into consideration my complexion and face shape. I finally feel like myself again!

My mom was only thinking about getting a wig when she walked in to Head First Wigs & Hair Replacement.
Mom’s hair loss was not total, just thinning at a pretty good clip, which her doctor said was temporary. After nearly eighty years of working with a full head of thin, brown hair, my mother had worked out a style that suited her perfectly; a wedge-​cut that varied over the decades just enough to look classic, but not dated, with sort of dirty blond highlights. So painting in scalp makeup to cover the new bald spots was just not doing it for her.
Mom left June’s shop with a wig that, so far, has fooled everyone. It’s not just that the look, color and style of her wig are indistinguishable from her pre-​thinning hair (and she’s having a lot of fun asking people if they notice anything different about her) but the wig is comfortable as well. She has now decided that when her full head of hair returns, she wants to continue wearing the wig so that she can skip the constant hair-​coloring visits to the salon.
I’m so happy that the owner, June, was not only skillful enough to make such a great (and surprisingly affordable) wig for my mother, but that she made the whole process interesting and fun. We can’t recommend June highly enough.
