The Dahlia

This is MY GIRL!!! I walked in one day just 4 years ago and I haven’t gone to anyone else since!!! I love her! I have long, curly, thick Polynesian hair and it is a nightmare to find someone who can trim it and style it well. 4 years ago my hair was 7 different colors of damage and we chopped it off to shoulder length. Now I practically have all VIRGIN hair again and its at least 3ft long from scalp to mid back. She knows all the techniques to keeping my curls healthy and at bay. I only let her cut and style my hair, I dare not do any of it myself any more in fears of ruining our beautiful time and effort over the years. THANK YOU DENISE!

I’ve been going to Denisse for almost the past 5 years. I won’t let anyone cut my hair but her. She actually listens to what you want and shows you how much will be cut. She gives her honest opinion on what works for your hair or not. My hair is always full and bouncy when I leave. She’s such a sweetheart and my official «hair lady»

I got a BAD cut a week earlier and have been without a hairdresser for months. I took a risk an tried The Dalia and Denisse is great! Fixed my hair and was also fun to talk to. Down to earth relaxed… My husband thinks my cut looks amazing. I will be back!

I made an appt with Denisse for a bleach touch up, toner and cut. the location is great. you cant miss it. as u walk into the building theres subsections inside like boutiques. The Dahlia is a fun salon. It was hot as heck outside and inside the salon was refreshingly cool. Denisse greeted me and we talked about hair. ima solid blonde and she was so thourough asking me questions and wasn’t timid about using 40vol on my scalp. she performed a clean job and i was served soda while i waited for processing. the shampoo was relaxing and then toner was applied and then after that was washed she trimmed me. i left platinum pearl blonde and ready for an important function i had the nxt day. will i return? i hav found my hair a new home. I had my hair cut by Jessica, who is very friendly and attentive. Emphasis on the attentive: I am pretty sure my wash, cut, and style took over an hour (without any wait time) – so she definitely doesn’t rush clients out the door.
If you prefer to be in and out, this place probably isn’t for you. Personally, I don’t like to spend a lot of time on my hair for any reason, so I probably won’t be back. The facilities are beautiful, however, and Jess is very service-​oriented (if not speed-​oriented); if you’re the type to wanna spend a lot of time pampering yourself, this is probably a great place for you to try out.

It is true! Denisse truly cuts curly hair to perfection. This may not seem important to those with straight hair, but for those of us with natural curls this is great news. Thank you Denisse!

I had my Daughters Hair cut at Regis Salon at Hillsdale and They butchured her hair. So I took Her to Jessica at The Dahlia Salon the next day and she was able to fix her hair. She was AMAZING, she did such a good job! I will never take my daughters anywhere else!!!:) Thanks again Jessica for the good work!

AMAZING!!! Need I say more? Well, If i am going to get my hair cut Denisse is the only one who I go to. My hair is difficult and she never ceases to amaze me with her talent to fix my crazy curls! Denisse has also been my go-​to-​gal for make-​up for special occasions. I should really post some before and after photos to show what artistry and talent there is at the Dahlia. If you want a great experience and if you want to look your best, I would definitely recommend the Dahlia!

Denisse is amazing she did my Brazilian Gloss and I loved it! She also has cut my hair and dyed it! Both of which I’ve always loved she is very talented at what she does! And I’m so happy she has her salon open!!! I can’t wait until I get in there next so we can do something new with my hair! :)I would recommend the Brazilian gloss there was no damage to my hair it made my hair healthier!

I am so happy to hear that their Salon has finally opened! I’ve had both my hair and makeup done by one of the owners, Denisse and was extremely happy with the results!
Make-​Up: Denisse did a spectacular job on my Halloween make-​up. I was a lady bug for Halloween and she created an appearance that was cute and festive without being too over the top. I was able to describe the look I was going for and with additional feedback from her, it ended up being exactly what I had in mind.
Hair: Denisse styled my hair in amazing curls to go along with my ladybug make-​up. It coordinated beautifully. After seeing such great results with my Halloween hair and make-​up, I started seeing her for my color as well. The service she provided was top notch and the color came out great. She was professional yet friendly and managed her time well. Sometimes the salon can turn into an all day thing, especially with my long thick horse tail of hair lol. But with Denisse I felt that I was in and out in a timely manner without sacrificing quality of work.
I’m so glad that the salon is up and running and I can’t wait to book my next appointment! Update to follow once, I visit the salon.
