Meh, indeed. The fact that this is right on El Camino certainly makes it convenient, but the lack of a drive-through window pretty much cancels that out. The food is Taco Bell… you know what you’re getting into. It’s not a replacement for an ACTUAL taqueria, but it has its place. I like Taco Bell, it’s fine. I am indeed a fan of the Meximelt, and have been known to crave it from time to time. I would generally give this place 3 stars(for what it is), but the service knocks it down a peg. One time, I noticed my soda wasn’t filled properly. I called this to the attention of someone behind the counter. She rolled her eyes at the guy who’d originally filled it… then she POUREDTHEWHOLETHINGOUT and re-filled it. WHY? It’s not like I said it tasted bad… or that it was the wrong soda. I also had to ask for more sauce… and the person re-filling THOSE bins looked irritated that someone, you know, wanted more hot-sauce(or green sauce, in my case) packets. I mean, isn’t that why you GO to Taco Bell… the hot-sauce packets? I won’t lie. I guess I’ll be back. But I wish I could tell Future Tami: YOU’LLREGRETIT.

Ok… so I know it’s just a fast food place and I shouldn’t expect super high quality service there BUT, we should ATLEAST expect some sort of kindness or OK customer service from the people. Right? NO. Not here. Not tonight. There was a lady there named Delia(if that’s even her name). Super rude to me for no reason. She was working behind — like filing the bags with your order. Anyways… I came back in because I couldn’t find our cheesy roll up for our baby and went back in there nicely to all for it with my receipt and everything. First thing she said to me was«What do you want?» Super rudely by the way. Then i explained why i was back. She basically accused me of lying then started talking about me in Spanish. I told her i understood her and she rolled her eyes me then glared — as if she was going to do something. When I asked her name she said«Delia, why?» Again, super rude. I told them I would Unilocal so no one else will be treated that way. DON’T GOHERE. There’s another one in Foster City and they’re waaaay nicer.

If I could i would give this place negative 5 stars, I hate posting bad reviews, but this is the second time we have gotten home and our order was screwed up. I ordered a number 6(2 chalupa meal) with no sour cream, and a pepsi no ice. Well they put ice in my pepsi, and then get home start to eat my food and bite into it and there is sour cream all over it. We will not be coming back here as they hardly speak english. We will drive to downtown san mateo from now on.

I’ve been coming to this taco bell location for years and the customer service tonight was HORRIBLE! My friends and I walked in around 12:30am on a Saturday and the whole dining area was closed but they close at 3am. They were blocked off by chairs. We asked if we could get a table but they told us to take a table outside in the freezing cold… we just took it to go. Pist us off

They need to focus on getting orders right here. Ordered combo with 3 Taco Supremes and paid for upgrade to chicken and got 3 regular tacos instead. Complained on the website and got no response. Don’t waste your time here…

Typically, I am not a fast food junkie, but this Taco Bell exceeds my expectations in terms of its service. I just came here to get a quick bite to eat after being ignored by the waitress that was working at Heidi’s Pies tonight. Yes, I was upset coming out of Heidi’s; however, I was satisfied with the prompt service at Taco Bell. The food is what you’d expect at any Taco Bell. My Gordida Crunch was warm and put together fairly neatly. I would definitely come back here over a place like Heidi’s.

This Taco Bell is conveniently at the corner of El Camino Real and E 20th Ave., next to Heidi’s Pies. I frequent here often as it is close to my place and opened past midnight for my late night hungers. Sometimes if I need a quick bite before getting on the 92, a block a way, this is the place I stop at. It has everything I want in a fast food joint-mostly fast service, opened late, and the convenience to the freeway and my home. Unfortunately, there are some shortcomings. The building is old with its original Taco Bell building design from the 60’s! The interior is small, dirty, and uncomfortable to be in. To make things worse, the employees seldom clean the tables or mob the dirty floors. Forget about AC in the summer time! I usually order to-go and high tail outta there. Food quality isn’t the best compared to other TB locations. The cheesy fiesta potatoes aren’t usually hot and crunchy, Mexican pizza sauce is usually sloppily slapped on, and the proportions of ingredients used in in that and their burritos, quesaritos, and quesadillas are usually off(more sauce/salsa than meat). This makes for many soggy items. Probably the best thing I’ve tasted from this location is the breakfast AM Crunchwrap. It’s time for this location to be torn down and rebuilt from ground up with its building so it is cleaner and add AC as well as a drive through. Employee re-training should also be considered as the service is slower than its other location. Could be that I’ve caught them playing with their phones while only one cashier is tending to the customers waiting. They aren’t too friendly either. I love Taco Bell but management needs to consider these improvements.

This Taco Bell is one of the worst I’ve ever been too… I get that working at a fast food place is horrible… I’ve worked at a Taco Bell before. But come on guys you signed up for it, it’s a job. And when you make crappy food and are just wasting people’s money you deserve no business. The management of this place is horrible… day time is maybe ok but the night crew is just horrid. They pretty much just give you a taco she’ll with SOME lettuce. Crappy crappy food, service and management. Someone please do something about this. Hire a whole new crew dude. –_–

This is a Breakfast only review. On the way to work I decided to avoid the 101 Fwy and remembered the Taco Bell Commercial showing breakfast items. So I found this place on the El Camino leaving my friends house in Hillsborough. She tried to give me a healthy juice shake she made, and I pretended to like it and brought it with me. The second I saw this joint, I had to pull in and toss the juice and was ready for a real breakfast.(sorry if you’re reading this, but the juice doesn’t keep well in the car, and honestly, tastes terrible. Don’t worry I kept the container.) I ordered a stuffed breakfast crunchwrap. This star shaped burrito had scrambled egg, sausage, and a crispy hash brown inside. The order comes with two cinnabon crème filled, sugar coated, donut holes and a cup of medium sized coffee. The whole meal cost under $ 5.00 Unfortunately the calorie estimate was over 700 so that’s one FULL meal already for the day.

Young cashier was trying too hard to be thorough and friendly creating the opposite result. Thankfully, our box of taco party pack came out quite fast. This is such a deal — 12 crunchy tacos(you have a choice of crunchy or soft) for $ 10.99 — can’t beat this!

This taco bell is old school. It’s style brings me back to when i was a child, it has all the old style building and it doesnt have a drive thru. But the people were nice and the food was good. So i will go there again when i am in the area.

Came here for a cheap lunch after spending an hour at Sprint PCS across the street. The place has people’s bicycles blocking isles where management doesn’t do a thing about. Their training is bad, because the cashier wasn’t able to make one order for 2 of the same items. And the food was so good that it came out 10 minutes after eating.

Slowest service EVER!!! At least the guy that took our order was friendly. I tried their limeade original for $.99 during their happy hour and I loved it. Why is it that all their burritos have all the meat on one side and all the bean on the other? And I always pick the wrong side to eat first! -.-

You know you are worthless when you can’t even make a Taco Bell taco. That is exactly what the female workers here are. How hard is it to put some fucking mystery meat, grass, and fake cheese in a taco shell? Complete garbage. I’m pretty sure they’re the reason why abortions were invented.

Wish this place had a drive through dangit! Got a quesidilla and two fresco soft tacos the other day. Delish! Taco bell is always my fave! It is kinda far away from my work, so I don’t go too often, but if I have the time to spare, this is one of my top choices for lunch! Usually crowded(even after 1pm), but it was still pretty quick. Next time I need to remember to get my own hot sauce and napkins because they don’t put them in my back. Oh well.

Restrooms: Didn’t get to use them, but they have a Mens and Ladies room. Inside seating and spacing: Very small in my opinion… I ended up purchasing 1 item and eating in my car afterwards. Quality of customer service: It’s alright. Food quality: Ordered a Crunchwrap, and it wasn’t shabby at all. Food price: About 2.80, with .25 cents of tax = 3.05 for a Crunchwrap. Parking lot: There’s an abundance of parking here, which is a fine plus. _______________________________ Bottom line: A good place to get your grub on, though it’s on the small side in terms of store size.

Open until 2 or 3am daily!!! I don’t normally praise fast food places, but it’s very rare to find places open late at night that also have HAPPY people serving made to order food. So that deserves a compliment. Also it has a clean bathroom. In my dining experience, most other late night eateries have employees infected with some type of midnight PMS. It’s silly to see other reviewers posting low ratings for this Taco Bell just cuz it doesn’t have a drive thru. Get your fat butt off your car and eat at a table like a decent human being!
