I have always liked this event Center. Lots of parking the only thing that really sucks here is when your in the building there is rarely to none for cellular reception. you have to walk outside to have any kind of service. If your running a business its really difficult to charge people for your sales when the internet is always having problems and the connection is really bad. The food is pretty good, I guess they have the same caterers for all the events. But for what you get and the price you pay is not such a bad deal here. I have been to a lot of different locations for events and the price is usually pretty outrageous and the quality and quantity of food is very poor and very small amounts. The Portable bars here is what you would expect anywhere but the bartenders will hook it up if you tip them. They also carry Bullet Bourbon and a few different types of whiskey which is rare and hard to find at an event. If your a whiskey fan like myself you would enjoy the drink selection that they have to offer. The building is always cold here doesn’t matter how hot it is outside, would highly recommend that you bring a sweater if your planning to hang out in the building for a few hours

I went to Gluten Free Expo here… place was big and easy to navigate. Parking lot was right in front with many spots. I’ve never been here before but it looks like a great place for Farmer’s market.

SOCUTE. There are about 6 – 8 trucks circled around a small farmers market which consisted of about 5 vendors. This cute farmer’s market occurs every Wednesday from 4:30 — 8:30pm so it’s perfect for me since I work around the area — just drove a couple miles over after work. I met a couple friends there and we waited in line at a couple trucks. When we got our food, the farmer’s market provides little bucket pails that you can sit on — easy to move around and takes very little space. Great idea! After you eat, you can shop for some produce — how convenient :)

This supposed farmers market is really a joke. I went there yesterday in hopes of picking up some Peaches and nectarines only to find 5 fruit stands and about 10 food trucks along with many security guards in yellow coats roaming the parking lot. The once wonderful wednesday market at CSM has turned into this. This can’t last long. who wants to eat dinner standing up while browsing 5 stands?

I’m really stoked about this Farmer’s Market. It is exactly like Off the Grid in SF. But you know what? It is okay if we can experience it and closer to home. There were about 10 food trucks and about 5 market stands. I think Redwood City has a bigger weekday farmers market if you are looking for more fruits and veggies. I think this is a great family/friend get together on hump day. I see myself inviting some of my friends out to this. Some of the trucks take credit, but better to bring cash to this event. Parking is free so don’t worry about parking.

The Wednesday farmers’ market now runs from 4:30 — 8:30 pm. What used to be a great farmers’ market with lots of produce stands is now 2 – 3 stands and a bunch of food trucks. Meh! Think: Off the Grid + vegetable stand + berry stand. It’d probably be a good place for a first date, though.

I went to the Farmer’s Market here, and didn’t think too highly of it. All it was was produce. Same stuff at every booth. Nothing special or anything that stood out. Not very impressed, but oh well. I have good produce markets by my house that I can get the same stuff at. Maybe next time I will get some flowers or something.

YEAH! my hump day farmers market is back in action! i love love loved the CSM farmers market but saturdays were a mad house. sleep in or take your time getting there and there’s nothing left to buy! so wednesday became my favorite. however, as you may know, CSM started to repave their parking lot which left us sans FM on wednesdays. boo! been checking back there regularly but of course the construction peeps new nothing. this morning i thought i would actually hit the website for an update. lo and behold they had MOVED the wednesday FM to the event center. holy cow! it wasnt well advertised. i’m giddy with joy as i drove over to the new location. great for me since it is closer. i get there and am disappointed to find that not all the usual suspects were there. there was still a good selection given it was raining. i finally mentioned this to one of the vendors. he said this FM was not well attended so some farmers stopped coming. what a vicious downward spiral this has become! WORDTOTHEFARMERSMARKET ORganizers: ADVERTISEPEOPLE!!! your farmers are suffering. your customers are suffering. you got what we are buying. let me know where to go for crying out loud! i just hope the word gets out on the new location because it has the potential to be great again.
