This is the best acrylic fill/​full set I have gotten in the Bay Area. Ann does a phenomenal job and everyone else in the salon is super nice!

I have been coming here forever and Tom and Ann never cease to amaze me and my nails are always perfect whatever crazy picture I find online they manage to reconstruct on my nails with their own flair you guys are the best!

I’ve been going here for 10 years. Tom does a fantastic job with my hair. I’m 51 and have moussy brown hair with dull grey coming in. We devised a way to HI LIGHT my hair IN BETWEEN the grey and it looks FANTASTIC. No root line to worry about. My hair has a SPARKLE now and when you see my hair you see a sandy blond color with a youthful sassy haircut that he does to perfection. I highly recommend Tom for haicut and color.

I have been going here for about 8 months now after literally trying every other nail shop on the block. Recently moved to the area. They are very friendly and do an amazing job. I am very picky when it comes to my nails I don’t want them to look like paddles but natural. The salon is also quiet depending on the crowd, very clean and many colors/​designs to choose from. Pedicures are awesome not to mention the art done by hand making it look unique and beautiful. I recommend making an apt they do get busy!

I have to update my review. After my last poor experience, the owner contacted me and apologized and invited me back for a complimentary service. He explained to me what Happened when I returned. He was apologetic and very thorough. I will continue returning here because of this excellent customer service.

My friend and her mom introduced me to this salon a while back to get my nails done and I have been going there ever since and I love it. The girls are amazing and I love how my nails turn out every time. I always get a French manicure and pedicure there and they are so perfect with it.

This is the only place I will go to for my eye brow waxing and hair cuts in the Penninsula for the past 5 years. It is a family run business. The owners, Anh and Thanh, work hard to make sure their customers are happy. I have tried many eye brow waxing places in the bay area (Oakland, San Francisco, and San Mateo); Anh is the only one who consistently does a great job with just the right shape, angle, and thickness and without my eye brows looking crooked or over done for just $ 12. Her husband, Thanh, is their only hair specialist. I was so happy to finally find someone who knows how to cut my thick Asian hair without the finished product looking FOB (fresh out of the boat). Previously, they had a couple of other hair specialists working for them. However, since these employees’ work were subpar, loyal customers began leaving. So the owners made a business decision to only have Thanh do the hair there. Anh and Thanh are both are very accommodating – I always call them 15 minutes in advance to make sure they are available before coming in given my busy work and family schedules.

I have been coming here for 5 years now. I get all of my salon services done here including my nails (acrylic full set, mani/​pedi, silk wrap), hair (cut and highlights), and waxing (eyebrow and Brazilian). I keep coming back because they provide professional, high quality service at a reasonable price!

I’ve been getting my haircut from trong (sp?) for years. I usually just walk in unannounced and he takes me right away. Trong does a nice job cutting my hair. He takes his time to do a thorough job and it always comes out how I like it. Prices are very reasonable too. Highly recommended.

I have been coming here for the past 8 years and Ann is surely the BEST nail design artist I have come across! She is fast, efficient and has a wonderful sense of color and design. Their gel manicures last me close to 3 weeks so is really worth it. The salon is remarkably clean and all the tools/​towels they use really clean.

Never get your hair trimmed or cut here. I’ve been coming here for years off and on for brows and nails, which was always okay. I came a few months ago for half an inch trim which was fine, then I came again a few days ago hoping I could get a nice half inch trim before my birthday, but the guy convinced me I needed at least an inch. I thought the cut was taking too long, when I realized he CHOPPED off a good 2 inches. Not to mention he straightened my hair while it was wet and put way too
much oil on it. I later washed it and left it naturally curly and didn’t notice anything odd, but when I straightened it today I realized how CHOPPY it was! Never ever has my hair been this choppy, maybe when I was like 3? Was planning on going back to get it fixed but I think I deserve my money back. Sorry salon image, but this hair is noooot cute.

Review is strictly for mani and pedi only. You couldn’t tell by looking at it from the outside, but this place is truly a hidden gem for nails. I have never gotten my hair done here, and do not plan to do so, but they are great with nails. Very friendly staff with great customer service just a few doors down from where I have been going for years! This is my new go to place. The plus is that they are very reasonably priced.

Fast, not painful, didn’t leave my face as red as any other salon I’ve been to in the area! Magic! She really knew what she was doing!
Only kind of weird thing: I went in the middle of the day during my lunch break – there were oddly a lot of old men in there.

Love, love, loooove this salon! I’ve been going here for about 5 years and I’ve never been disappointed. The manicurists are incredibly nice and make you feel very comfortable. The manis and pedis are priced fairly and always great. I’ve never had an issue with the acrylics either. With me, I’m a very clumsy person and have messed my nails up right after they’re done multiple times; Tran is awesome and never charges me. This is also the ONLY place I will get my eyebrows done. I have a mild allergy to any wax used on my face, and Rochelle has been amaaaaazing every time. She will patiently pluck them with almost no pain, and the shape is always perfect. I tell everyone I know to go to this salon. Amazing.

Look for the post office, it’s one door East.
Pros:
–Cheap!!! $ 20 for a pedicure or $ 30 for a mani-​pedi.
–They take credit cards.
–I didn’t wait as a walk in on a Monday at 4:00 PM. I called and they said they’re open until 7 PM on Mondays.
–Tammie was very meticulous in trimming my toenails.
–Free street parking for two hours.
–A reviewer on Unilocal complained about little bumps in her polish, I did not experience this.
Cons:
–The massage chair wasn’t very comfortable, but not that big of a deal when the pedicure was half of what I’ve paid in Menlo Park and San Francisco.
–Exfoliation is done by hand with a pumice stone. I think the spinning machines some upscale salons have are more effective, but you get what you pay for.
–No quick dry top coat or fans to speed up pedicure dry time.
Overall, not a bad place if you have more time than money.
