Paola gives a really great men’s haircut. She should charge more and I still would go to her.

My daughter and I have been going to Paola’s now for many, many years. She’s patient and very artistic. You have to try her!

A good friend who always sports the most gorgeous highlights and haircut referred me to Paola. I visited her for the first time yesterday and love her! She is amazing with highlights and color and I love my cut! I am asian — so getting the right blonde highlights and and the right tone is no easy feat. It is also very rare to find someone like Paola who is skilled at both color and cut.
Paola is a doll. A super positive and sweet person. She is also incredibly fast — which I love! Highly recommend Paola! I will be booking my return visit soon.

I have been a client of Paola for 4 years. She has cut and colored ny hair and it has always been with great results. She has a great attitude to boot. She takes great pride in her work and I have observed how much other clients appreciate her talent and her easy going personality as well. The location is super convenient and Although she is super busy, she always manages to squeeze me in when I am in a pinch. Reviews are great… but you really need to meet her and see for yourself.

Paola is the best. Not only is she a magician with color and highlights, she also gives a great cut… long or short, she knows what she’s doing. I can’t recommend her enough! Although I am a bit nervous putting this out there, as it only means all of us devotees will have to wait in line!!. But since I’m a huge user of Unilocal I feel I need to give the good info when I’ve got it. Believe me, you won’t find anyone better.

I went to a well known Salon in Burlingame for a number of years. I finally got tired of being unhappy with the inconsistentcy in cut and color. I work at a dental office and one of our patients always had a great haircut, so I asked where she goes. She directed me to Paola. I couldn’t be happier. I love here originality and consistency in color. We always go over what the plan is and she won’t let me do anything foolish. She doesn’t serve latte’s and chocolate, but she does serve up a great haircut and color for a reasonable amount. Paola your the best!!! LInda T.

FINALLY FINALLY found my new hairstylist! After I cheated on my long time girl (she moved and was not convenient for me to go to her), I tried a few other places that were fine. But still didn’t have that click. Being a working mom, I need these things from a stylist: friendly, easy to talk to (but doesn’t talk your ear off), speedy but takes her time, is nearby, easy to get a last minute appointment and is AFFORDABLE. Paola is all that and more. I highly recommend her!

Paola is the best hairdresser on the peninsula. I grew up in a salon, my mother had a salon, once she retired I had to find someone great. Paola is it — she is an artist! She is beyond talented and equally important beyond friendly. Strangers stop me and ask me where I get my hair done — she made me look that good! \I will be a life long customer and will not let anyone else touch my hair!

Around 9 years ago my hairdresser of 3 years moved out of state. I started panicking. I was used to go to the same hairdresser, just getting my haircut without having to explain every single time what I wanted.
I tried a couple of different places with awful results.
I procrastinated getting a new haircut, for fear of getting another botched haircut. Fast forward to Sunday night. I couldn’t wait any longer, so I went to the only place open on Sunday night: Regis at the Hillsdale mall.
And boy, I was very lucky to meet Paola at Regis 9 years ago.
Ever since I’ve been following her around through multiple places in San Mateo.
I’ve been a happy and loyal customer since then.
— I usually call her last minute and she always finds time in her busy schedule for last minute appointments
— Not only she remembers all the details of my previous haircuts. she makes good suggestions and I always go for them
— And, as part of the haircut, I get a very relaxing hair wash with a massage. I always have to fight to not fall sleep in the chair

Paola’s been my stylist for 8 years. I always go to her for haircut, nails and waxing. She’s excellent and i love her. My family also goes to her for haircuts, even the guys.

I absolutely love Paola! She’s been cutting hair for my family for a few years now, and I wouldn’t go anywhere else, my daughter, on the other hand decided to save a trip over the hill, we’re in HMB, and went to another stylist yesterday (Sunday) who, instead of trimming 3 inches off her hair, chopped 12 inches off! I called Paola and text her a picture. She was as horrified as we were and came in on her day off to fix the mess the other stylist made. She went above and beyond and left my daughter with a huge smile instead of the tears she had hours before. Paola is very detailed and takes time to make sure every cut is perfect, and her customers are satisfied. I highly recommend her!
