Intervention 4 Change

Hi Susan,
I write this to you to thank you for the thoughts and the guidance. I truly believe your methods would have been to my brothers benefit. He past away last year before I could build the steam with the rest of the fam. If I had to do it again, I would just get my friends to back me up and make it happen. It is almost like I need to have an intervention with the parents to help them see what they didn’t want to. My parents had tried in their own way since he was 12. I want to say that in the least your conversation made me not feel crazy or without merit. I think what you do is extremely helpful.

The difference between Susan and other counselors, therapists, or coaches is that Susan truly, genuinely cares. You can feel it the minute you meet her.
When I called Susan for help & left her a message, she returned my call that same day, and offered to stay in frequent phone contact with me until our first appointment later that week. I can’t begin to express how helpful that was. I needed support, and she offered it. Right away.
I saw her regularly for a while, discussing several issues I wanted to work on and improve. Rather than forcing me into any particular direction or suggesting I should be making any particular amount of progress, Susan was able to guide me gently toward solutions, all the while giving it to me straight. Absolutely no B.S.
After a while, I only saw her on an «as needed» basis, and I know today that she’s just a phone call away if I should ever need help with any other stumbling blocks, big or small.
She didn’t accept health insurance when I started seeing her, but I’m not sure if that’s still the case. Everything else about her SO outweighs that one little issue that I couldn’t possibly remove any of the five stars. If I could, I’d give her ten. Susan’s a warm, kind soul. She’s been an integral part of some major personal and professional growth for me, and I’m grateful to have met her.
