It was a nice surprise to see a fairly robust group of vendors for this year’s fair. I would agree that the kids zone could be improved alittle, perhaps with a self-photo taking scene or fun prop cutouts where you insert your face for some fun. My daughter did appreciate the«free» Gingerbread man cookie that she decorated. The food vendors could be improved. Although not outrageously priced, the food was mediocre especially the melt zone. Service was friendly at the melt zone, but nonexistent at the hotdog place. The Fair was clean and organized with nice live entertainment and plenty of table seating for eating. I’m sure that the fairgrounds needs to make money to pay it’s bills, but a break on parking would be a draw. $ 10 to park for a craft fair is a bit much on top of the $ 9 per ticket entrance fee.

We were in and out in one hour. It’s entertaining to see all the wares vendors have to offer, but things are over priced. While I support artists and small businesses, in my opinion, the quality of some products don’t justify the costs. We did make two purchases from vendors with beautiful and reasonably priced items(lighting and terrariums). The children’s area could be improved greatly too. It was almost an afterthought.
