Barcelino Per Donna

The only thing worse than the return policy here is the rude salespeople. Very disappointing.

I visited this store back in late June to buy a dress for my wife as a birthday gift. Barcelino Per Donna is a nice store that stands out from all other stores. The dresses remind me the European style that is rarely can be found. Decent selection and very attentive service from the ladies who work there.
On a negative note, I cannot recommend this place to a people who are looking to buy a gift. The return/​exchange policy, there is none. At least on all dresses (90% of all merchandises they sell). If you carried out a dress out of the store you cannot exchange or return it later. Not even on a next day. As I was buying a dress as a gift, I hesitated a lot. If it would not fit, I’d have to throw 300 $ summer dress away. Luckily it did fit and looks great.
Another thing I’d like to add. Do not be fooled by their spring/​fall or any other kinds of SALE. When I visited the store it was 30^th anniversary SALE with slogans saying «20−50% off store wide! Nothing will be held back». In fact just few dresses on the back shelf. None of nearly a dozen dresses I looked at was on sale.

We were very disappointed with their customer service at Hillsdale mall, esp their female manager at the store does not have any clue re: what is customer serivice. And on top of that there so called president did not bother to return our call. We left message for him and told him about our problem.
We bought very expensive sweater from there which we wanted to exchange.
After spending 800 $ on one sweater, if we are not getting good customer service, what is the point of going in that store. I would highly discourage anybody to go in that particular store for shopping.
