Best bar in town! Bartenders are quick and friendly and ready to serve you. They have a ton of shots to choose from and a great variety of specialty drinks. Just ask the bartenders to create what you’re looking for, i.e. Sweet, fruity, refreshing, and they will make something delicious:) 10⁄10 would go back every time.

Best shot bar on the square! They have a three page menu of shots you can choose from and friendly bartenders to shake it up for you, I would definitely suggest stopping by any day of the week or during their happy hour from 5 – 9 and on Fridays for Fishbowls!

This place has delicious shots that are really affordable! The Girl Scout Cookie shot tastes exactly like a thin mint — amazing! I’ve been here 3 times and the bartenders are very talented. The only thing I didn’t enjoy about Barfish was that they play music WAY too loud. I wanted to have a conversation with my friends but we kept being interrupted by a rapper shouting obscenities over the loudspeakers. Music is great but it needs to be at a level that’s pleasant so people can still hear each other. So, most of the time, we grab shots at Barfish at the beginning of the night and then move on to somewhere more pleasant to sit down and hang out.

My friends and I always start our girls night with a trip to Barfish! It’s a chill place to start the evening. The bartenders are friendly and quick to serve. The drink and shot specials are cheap and plentiful! My boyfriend and I now like to stop by on occasion to end our date nights with a few drinks. We will continue to visit during our nights out.

I’m really not one for fancy shot bars, since I don’t care for adding 8 things to my liquor, but this is a nice place. In addition to shots and mixed drinks, they also have bottled beer, though it’s more than what you would normally pay (I think I paid about $ 4.75 for a Shiner Bock). What I really loved was the music… it was unlike most places I’ve been to one the square. They were playing The XX, The Strokes, and Amy Winehouse, to name a few. We were only in for a bit, but its a place I’d like to come back to while visiting San Marvelous.

I like Barfish a lot! My boyfriend religiously goes there, and I’ve been there now two or three times.
The drinks are good and the bartenders are friendly and make your drinks fast and strong.
The atmosphere is pretty relaxed. I like the couches in the back.
Besides your regular hoochy college girls walking by, (it’s a college town so basically anywhere you go on the square at night it will be like this) it’s really fun to hang out in. Haha.
