Sorrento’s Pizza

I know from the past (I’ve had their take-​out) that the food is good. In fact, the meat sauce was excellent, but for my first time eating in… how disappointing! We got seated right away, then were forgotten. Waited 13 minutes with NO ONE acknowledging us before we got up and walked out. What a bummer! Off to the other local Italian food spot instead.

For a small hole in the wall strip mall Italian Restaurant this place has allot going for it. Every year Jan and I take these old friends out for their birthdays. This year we asked where they wanted to go and this was their choice. Boy I’m glad they did.
The ambience here is fantastic. 5 Stars.
The place is decorated just like you would expect to see in Italy. When you first walk in the first thing you notice is the fantastic smell of real Italian cuisine. Their Famous Garlic Bread keeps the smell rotating the dining room all night. 4 Stars. It comes with a delicious red gravy for dipping. Oh So Good.
Makes me hungry just thinking about it.
They have a small selection of beers and wine. I tried an Italian Beer named Peron imported from Italy. Ice cold and very refreshing. 4Stars.
The antipasto salad was little bit different than other places with Several types of Italian meats and cheese including pepperoni. Big enough for three to four people. 4 Stars.
There are four sizes of pizza to choose from. We ordered the giant deluxe with jalapeños on half. I’ve got to say they pack on the toppings and tons of cheese. 4 Stars.
To finish off the evening we ordered four wedges of Spumoni ice cream. Wow they serve a Great Spumoni. 4 ½ Stars.
They seem to be more famous for their pasta dishes. Although none of us tried any this visit everyone else in the room was chowing down on one type or another. We Will return another time to try more of their menu.
The service was First Class and the owner was as nice as could be.

Frequented this restaurant in my childhood and as a young adult. I got married and moved to SLC UT. We eat here every time we visit the area. The food is excellent and they remembered me when I walked in the door even though it had been years. They love family and will make you feel at home, and the food is cooked with just as much Italian love!

Ok I’m so damn pissed! Wanted to love this place. Got seated. 15 minutes and no one talked to us! Other tables seated after us got drinks and ordered too! Homie don’t play that! Got up and left. Suck it Sorrento’s! Never again

Unilocal didn’t disappoint. I can see why they have so many good reviews. The food and service are great. It’s a bit dated (décor) but the food and service make up for it all.

Really good pizza! Giant («16») ½ cheese — ½ special, to go! Pizza was really, really good! Great sauce. The amount of cheese that was on my pizza could have cost me several minutes of life. The sauce was delish. So, you say, «Why don’t you give it five stars?» Ok, I’ll tell you — nothing the Sorrento’s did. Nope, it was a thick crust pizza. The crust itself was good and flavorful. I just personally don’t like my crust that thick. But I will definitely order pizzas from this establishment again. Probably during football season. Cause it will save me money. Because, one piece fills you up!

This place is a gem. Solid find! Amazing sauce and incredible meatballs. It has real old world feel to it and the hospitality is from these sweet old ladies — the kind that tell you if you’re too skinny and make you eat more food until you hurt. So happy we found this place! We’ll be back to try everything!

I’ve gone to sorrentos my whole life as a family favorite & there’s nothing else like their sweet marinara with a huge pile of their special parm on top of a mound of spaghetti. Fugget about it. Except don’t Fugget about it, come eat here. It’s awesome.

Great service, friendly atmosphere and Italian food. Great meatballs sandwiches… juicy and cheesy, great bread great when dipping with marinara sauce. So fulfilling and delicious! Spaghetti noodles taste very unique like made freshly daily. Marinara sauce made fresh daily. Can’t beat the great service and food. Feels like you are in Italy, even though I never been to Italy! Sure beat Spaghetti Factory. Only place my husband willing to pay for spaghetti!!!

This place is the best ordered manicotti dinner for take out and it was everything and more! Best Italian food I’ve had in a very long time! Will definitely be ordering from them again very soon!

We found this place while browsing Unilocal,and since it was close by, we thought we’d give it a shot. Driving up to the mini-​mall, it was a little surprising, as it sat in the corner of an older strip mall, amongst massage place, E-​Cigarette shop and a dry cleaners. Don’t let that discourage you from coming here. It’s an old school style, family run Italian restaurant, complete with Italian countryside painted on the walls.
We ordered a chefs salad with Blu Cheese dressing (dressing was VERY good) and a Deluxe pizza with ½ jalapeños.
The chef salad was generous with the cheese and meat, but again, The blue cheese dressing was very good. The deluxe pizza was very yummy, and very filling. Also, we watched plates of spaghetti walk by that will definitely be on our next order.
We finished, by sharing a wedge of spumoni. We will be back!

This place is the best! I’ve been coming here since I was a kid and the service and food have always been amazing. Their antipasto salad and marinara sauce are my favorite! The ladies that work here treat everyone like family; they are always happy and kind. Thank you sorrentos for making delicious food and for always making your guests feel at home!

First time here with my kid, had the sausage and mushroom pizza. Nothing out of this world, but just what I was expecting. Family style pizza. good food and good value.

I have been coming here for years.
I rarely deviate from ordering the antipasto salad and an order of bread.
I have never left here hungry and the food is always good!

I’ve been coming here for many years and the employees are so nice and friendly. I feel like we’re family. The food is delicious too. Their pizzas are extra cheesy and their spaghetti sausage is sweet and yummy

Been going here for years and would by far call it my favorite restaurant. Not just favorite Italian, favorite of anything. Great service, better food!

I don’t come here very often because if I did I would probably be in a diabetic high life all the time because I can’t seem to collect any will power when this pizza hits the table.
Straight up love this family and I love the old school pizza place ambiance.
Food: it is the dough. It has the softness and the crunchiness that is making my mouth water as I type this. The sauce is perfect wet go between these amazing toppings and delicious crust. The toppings are always fresh and spot on. The cheese is bountiful. We went half anchovy and the other half was meaty. I always mow down the anchovy side, but this time saved some to take home to wife.
I wish I could go back more often, but when you try and lose weight eating 3 pieces of pizza and then one late night leftover is not working.

I have been eating here since I was a kid. I am now 27 and my fiancé and I frequent here quiet often. The food is never disappointing, the atmosphere is welcoming and above all the staff treats everyone like family. It’s a beautiful restraunt and deserves so much praise for how friendly it really is. My dad is the one who started taking us here because he was taken there as a kid. I can only hope that once we have children I can bring them in and give them great memories like I have here. And they truly do have the best pizza I have ever tasted

Ordered pizza ‘deep dish’ style with pepperoni and meatballs .SO GOOD! Husband got the meatball sandwich, melts in your mouth and the sauce really made it. Next time getting extra sauce for the pizza crust. Definitely a hidden treasure I will share with friends. Adding photos of menu to help.
