Nekter Juice Bar

Definitely on the pricey side, but so worth it!
Sub out the coconut milk in the Pink Flamingo smoothie for orange juice! So good!!!

My husband and I called in to this Nekter last week. We had the worst smoothies we have ever had. I had a Health Nut, he had The Buzz. Had we not been heading south on the freeway we would have returned them. My drink tasted of ginger and was definitely watered down. My husband’s was so awful that we got home he threw it away. An absolute waste of $ 15. We will not be returning.

Love this place! The staff is super nice and friendly :) the juice is as good as the ones I make at home.

Poor service– couldn’t place an order without adding a credit card so I tried to call it in. Phone rang and I was hung up on– twice. Lost sale from me, won’t be back.

Great Nekter location, great acai as usual. This one has a lot of y’all seating which is nice and the staff was pretty friendly. Not much parking right outside of the shop but it’s in a great shopping center with a lot of desirable shops around it. Definitely recommend this one, just like all nekters!

I’ve tried the bowls here a couple times. It’s one of the nicer juice bars and priced the same as an average juice bar market. I just wish the location or menu had some more personality. A little something more to look forward to. However, the ingredients are fresh and the staff is nice.

Definitely Healthy and pretty delicious, but i have to second everyone who has said it is too pricey. Definitely friendly and helpful at the front!

The smoothies are the best! This morning I am trying the Health Nut! Woohoo! I was greeted as I walked in and the cashier was super friendly and patient while I was waiting for a text order. Friendly environment and great menu! I definitely recommend this place! Happy anniversary!

I’m not into cleansing so I can’t give you the «skinny» on that aspect of this business. BUT… I am into straight up delicious deliciously deliciousness and they specialize in the triple D’s here. The chocolate dream smoothie is one of my favorites smoothies. Packed with good stuff, delicious and only 490 cal. The green apple detox just feels good to drink and we all enjoy things that feel good… right?
Why pay more for Starbucks, and hours later feel like crap from the sugar crash, when you can come here and get sustained energy. Seriously? Hours later I still feel great and energized and it’s all natural. Anyway… I can go on and on, but I’ll leave you with this…
The prices are comparable to Starbucks, but it feels like you get more for your buck here. Actually you do, the small here is a medium drink at Starbucks. There is outdoor patio sitting and they have free wifi. The ingredients are fresh and you can make your own concoctions. Also, the staff here is always so nice. Great customer service always earns a five star rating from me. Enjoy!!!

The perfect stop on a HOT day. Enjoyed the peanut butter bowl. Yum! Service was very kind and friendly. Seemed like a good place to relax and enjoy your juice and chat for awhile. Ive been to other juice bars in San Marcos and Im definitely going back to this one!

A bit pricey

I was in the mood to grab a green juice before heading into work due to a late night of celebrating. Thought this would help kick-​start the detox. Pretty empty, not much of a line and the staff are SO nice and willing to answer any questions you have.
The green juice? It was awesome. I’ve got it on 3 separate occasions– it’s consistent, tastes good and you leave feeling refreshed.
Their bottle protein drink? Absolutely bad. I’ve had a ton of protein shakes in my day– They are pretty much my go-​to when I am running between work and school. I understand how they are supposed to taste. I’m not sure if it was the certain batch that I got, but the taste of this drink reminded me of medicine. The liquid kind that you had to take when you would get ear infections? Yeah. Wasn’t a fan of it then, still not. I had to blend it with something else to be able to drink it because I was not about to throw out an 8 $ drink.
My advice? Stick to their made-​to-​order menu and skip the bottle drinks. Although I’m curious to see what their mixers taste like!

The interior is great. It’s very cool-​toned and clean. The decoration is also very modern. This branch seems very new as is the whole Plaza on Las Posas.
I got the acai banana berry bowl, and it was $ 6.75. I thought the amount was small, but it ended up being a fair amount. The acai was the perfect consistency: not too watery and still frozen. It was very sweet though, and I wish that there was more fresh fruit on top. But overall, still very good!

In Encinitas, you can’t get a fresh pressed juice for under $ 7, most are $ 10. These guys are $ 5.50!
Keep in mind, not certified organic. They say they do as much local, organic as possible but from the look of the shiny, waxy apples — they have way to go.
I’m a hardcore green girl, don’t like the sweet drinks. Ordered the Greenie and a wheatgrass shot (wheatgrass is 100% organic).
Both were great, especially considering I would pay at least $ 5 more for this combo in my hood.

For the area this one is my favorite place for an acai or pitaya bowl. I also love how fresh the juice tasted. I have been here enough times to say when I need to feel healthy or cleanse this is a little bit farther then a couple of other juicing places but, I’m willing to make the extra couple miles for this place.

Truth: I’m kind of obsessed with this place lately. It’s the perfect clean eating, juice, vegan option. I haven’t tried everything in their menu (yet) but the Chocolate Dream smoothie and PB Acai Bowl are my go-to’s right now. They’re both really filling and one or the other make a great lunch! I always feel so healthy after eating here. It’s a little on the pricey side, but you get good quality and ingredients. They also have stamp cards and stuff for free smoothies.
The service is always friendly and helpful with questions. They can get a little busy sometimes and a little wait for your order, but nothing crazy.
Do yourself a favor and try this place out!:)

Nekter is my go to when I want a juice! I recently got into drinking more juices lately so I haven’t tried many places, but there’s nothing bad to say about Nekter. It’s a great juice place and I always feel good after drinking the juices. They have a small variety of juices, smoothies, and bowls, but you can always create your own the way you like it which is a plus! They also have fruits and veggies that other places don’t have, which is another plus! There are a lot of things that I still need to try, but overall my experience has been great! They are all very welcoming and very fast. I’ve been there when it was really busy and the longest I’ve waited was about five minutes, more or less.

NEKTER makes me happy.
I love coming here to get the juices and smoothies. I definitely should try their acai bowls which they are also popular for! On my latest visit I decided to venture and try tropical cooler and popeye’s acai smoothies. I normally get the date nut and toxin flush juice. Everything I’ve gotten from nekter, I’ve loved!!! I also buy the protein drinks which are addicting. The drinks here taste less sugary and more natural as compared to Jamba Juice. There’s also a nice seating area similar to the Carmel Mountain location.

I am a big fan of acai bowls and they have many different types of acai bowls to choose from.
The atmosphere is great, clean and fresh.
The acai bowls taste amazing and the fruit is always fresh.
I always come here when I have a fruit craving!
They have more on the menu that I haven’t tried yet but it all seems tasteful!

Prices are a bit steep considering what it would cost for you to buy the same ingredients and make it at home. But also considering the convenience of not having to actually go out and buy said ingredients and having to juice and clean a juicer it alright. I’m a fan of most of the fresh juices. I haven’t tried many of the smoothies but I intend on trying them all. Of the acai bowls, the acai tropical is my favorite thus far. Check it out!
