Picking up dinner at the Pita Shop, I parked in front of this new store and the window display reminded me to pick up Qtips. Before driving home I stepped in just for those and found myself walking out with a bag full of goods for $ 10.81. My fault for walking the aisles out of curiosity, really; now I know why I hear about dollar stores so much.
Because I’d spent ten bucks, as part of their grand opening celebration I also got to pick out a freebie from selected antibacterial gels and air fresheners.
Walgreens is going to cash in on fewer of my «oops I forgot X at the store and don’t feel like going back into town» visits, I can tell you.
