Brought 2 suits to be dry cleaned here a week and a half before an interview. Picked them up Monday a day before my interview where I found that the lady wasn’t able to alter my pants in that period of time. Woke up to put on one of the suits and found that they decided to keep the pants that went with the jacket… glad I brought both suits to be cleaned or else I’d would have been forced to go to my interview in running shorts since that was the only other pair of clothes I packed

I have been going to this place for 2 years now. Had a couple of business shirts ruined one time. Management tried hard to correct the situation, but the shirts were beyond repair. Any business that tries hard to please their customers is a good business. I highly recommend Comet Cleaners.

Not highly recommended. I know, it’s the biggest, nicest looking cleaners in San Marcos. Must offer quality service, right? Not so much.
If you walk in and get the young guy who works the counter, turn around and walk out. If you tell him something had a stain or needs to be pressed a certain way, he doesn’t write anything down, so it goes in one ear and out the other, and next rime you get your clothes back they look exactly the same. I don’t know how many times I have come in to give this place a chance. The only time I have been satisfied here is when I was helped by an older woman, who I believe manages the place. For me, that was a ¹⁄₁₀ chance.
Also if you want an alteration dine here, the seamstress does good work but isn’t on premises everyday and they will not put in an order unless you speak to her.
Eventually, I tired one of the other cleaners and seamstresses in town and have never looked back.
