Wow! Great pizza. As someone else mentioned, the sauce and dough are really good. As was the cheese(I asked for extra cheese, great choice). The staff both on the phone and in person were very nice and polite. My order was taken accurately and quickly. I was greeted upon walking in a was helped pleasantly. Great atmosphere. I enjoyed the Mustang pizza a lot. I would go get it again today. Great topping quantity/quality. One of the best parts was that each slice held together and supported all of the toppings without falling apart. Amazing. And it made me happy. I did order the meatballs. They come three to an order with marinara. As someone else mentioned they were not actually that good. I would not order them again and recommend skipping them. The place inside is small, maybe 4 tables, so this doesn’t strike me as a place I’d like to go sit and eat/chat. So get it to-go. Pizza? Yes. Can’t wait to go back.

Great lunch spot! Love the Poppy Seed or Rasberry Salad with Chicken ! Good pizza and breadsticks! It can be a bit noisy when crowded but food is worth it!

The Nucci’s on Foothill is a San Luis staple. We live in the neighborhood and have been here dozens of times. It gets crowded at lunch, but has a decent-sized dining room and the service is quick. The salads, sandwiches and pizzas are all great. They have daily specials, but really, everything on the menu is a deal for the quality you’re getting.

I’m going to give it a three because the girl seemed new but I went in a few days ago and ordered a pizza combo… so a slice and small little salad 1. $ 10 dollars is overpriced especially because I came in after lunch so the pizza was leftover 2. The girl didn’t really know what she was talking about when I was asking questions 3. She rang me up took my cash, gave me change and then went and made my salad WITHOUT washing her hands… Not okay which management needs to inform their employees of, I work in food service and that’s literally the most important thing and so easy. I won’t be returning because that’s just a huge pet peeve of mine but the food is great and the service wasn’t horrible

Nucci’s is a great casual lunch spot. It has the best raspberry salad I have ever had. Their dressing is amazing! If you come at lunch they typically have a pizza and salad special which is nice because it’s more filling. Tip: If you come at lunch time, be prepared for parking to be an issue. There’s not a whole lot of parking in the complex so if you can come a little before lunch, that will make it easier to get a good spot. Also, you can order Nucci’s food along with a movie from Crossroads Video(next door) and delivery is free(minimum order applies).

Overpriced. Almost 10 dollars for a chicken ceaser salad that they threw together in a minute. Also the dressing was sub par

When I originally went to eat here, I was not expecting the food to be great. I honestly went only because my friend works here. They have a lot of interesting and unique pizzas, but I ended up getting the BBQ chicken pizza because the waitress recommended it to me. The pizza was very good, and it was a reasonable amount of food.

We ordered take out which was easy and the pick up was also very convenient. The BBQ pizza we had was not good though. It had no flavor of BBQ at all and it made me wish we went elsewhere for a simple pizza.

Last night my fiancé and I wanted an easy dinner so we decided to order some pizza. In SLO that can sometimes be easier said than done. Lots of pizza places, not a lot of good ones. Typically when we order pizza, we get 2 mediums so we get each get what we want. Depending on where we get the pizza, that can get pricey unless we want cheap college kid pizza a la Dominos or some sort of 2 for 1 deal. Last night we decided to venture out and try something new. Nucci’s is down the street so we decided to try out there. First off, the woman I spoke to one of the phone was super pleasant. One would think that should be a given(and it should be) but it’s not. She was polite, helpful, got my order exactly correct. There is a delivery minimum of $ 25 – totally reasonable to me – and when our order came up a few bucks short, she made some helpful suggestions like a piece of cheesecake or some breadsticks. When I’ve been in that same situation in the past at different places, they always seem to want you to order something else that about doubles your total rather than something to make up a three dollar shortage for the minimum. Second, she gave us a wait time of about 45 min and the delivery kid showed up in around 30 minutes. We were impressed. He was also a very, very nice young man and very polite. After tipping on the receipt, my fiancé decided to hand him some singles for himself too because he was just as impressed as I was. The young man seemed very appreciative. Now for the pizza… it was bomb dot com. It was exactly what I wanted. Crust wasn’t too thick, but it wasn’t crunchy. Cheese to sauce ratio was perfect. There was a little bit of grease, but honestly even that was delicious. Pizza needs a little grease to make it perfect, but not too much! They had it down right there. We got an order of breadsticks too and the marinara dipping sauce was SO good. I’ll probably get pasta next time just to try more of the marinara on top of something. We will definitely be ordering again!

Love the pizza and the service. We typically order the dinner for two which is a small 2 topping pizza with 2 salads for $ 20. Not a bad price as the salads are good size. I love the Cesar’s salad and wifey loves the poppyseed salad. The boss(our son) loves the pizza. The other big selling point is the service. The staff is welcoming and are polite. Nice place.

I have waited till trying them 5 times and now have to give props to the best pizza in SLO. The pizza of course is great but even more important to me is customer service, they have both. If you have not tried them please do yourself a favor and try for yourself, you will not be disappointed! See you Friday:)

This place is very difficult to rate. Why is that? Well, it is because I have been there five times – and four times it was CLOSED. And Its not like I was there at 2AM. Once was like Saturday night at 7:30 – CLOSED. Tuesday at 8:30 – not technically closed but, chairs up on the tables and workers cleaning up. Sunday 8 pm. Closed. etc. The one time I did manage to get a pizza it was pretty good and I would say one of the better ones I have had in SLO which is why I have tried to go four other times. Weird. Wonder if its like a front for money laundering or something. Or the owners hobby. Now its kind of the running joke to drive by just to see if it is open.

Stopped in for a quick lunch and found that the salad came as a generous portion and was tasty. The half sandwich on focaccia bread was very good. The service was great, with the young woman at the register who also bussed the table nice, attentive, and friendly. She kept her pleasant and professional demeanor when impatient female diners came in, one by herself and one who was«meeting someone,» both very self-important and demanding. It’s too bad they can’t put up a sign saying«If you’re full of yourself don’t eat here» because these types of diners ruin what should be a casual dining experience(it’s a pizza place, ladies). I just couldn’t give a full star rating to the establishment because the small restaurant space was boiling hot and sweat was rolling down my back as I ate. There was just no way to be comfortable. Please invest in some air conditioning, management.

Not very good pizza; I think that maybe those who gave a high rating either gave it because of the service or because of the fact that SLO doesn’t have exposure to good pizza. The customer service was the high point; we were served by a very polite, funny, and attentive server. She did a great job and she was the highlight of our experience. The food however, I really could do without. It all«looked» good, and it did not taste bad at all, it just didn’t make me want more than a few bites. For example, the meatballs were very ordinary. The Salad did not taste very fresh, and the dressing tasted like it was made a few weeks ago. The bruschetta should have never been heated the way it was. I think the cook put it under a salamander broiler or something like that before serving it to us. I am thinking this because the bread had no crisp to it anymore, the cheese was melted on top like I was eating a microwavable pizza, and the tomatoes tasted like canned tomato. Then, there’s the pizza… it’s not bad, don’t get me wrong but compared to pizza elsewhere I have no reason to return to Nucci’s for regular pizza.
