Sock Drawer has the absolute best socks anywhere. I always buy socks whenever we visit SLO, and I usually get my husband some nifty, colorful socks also, In addition I’ve bought several family members fun, colorful socks which they loved also, and I also constantly get myself and my husband socks online from this site. Everyone is always so nice, the socks hold up great, and the orders always arrive very fast.

Super helpful and friendly staff. Great selection of socks for yourself or to give as gifts. I was looking for a specific item– a liner for the inside of rainboots/wellies. They didn’t have any on the floor, but the salesgirl brought me some from the back. The price was reasonable for that item and the quality seems good. I wish I was willing to spend this much on every pair of socks I own, but due to the price point it is more of a special occasion/splurge for me to stop in to make a purchase.

Everyone wants a sock drawer full of colorful funky socks don’t they? For me, funky socks are like my own dirty little secret. I can be all conservative and appropriately dressed on the exterior, but what lies beneath the legs of my pants hides my crazy side! feel Socks are a great way to express your own style for sure, and something I’m just now getting into. So when I passed the appropriately named«Sock Drawer», I couldn’t help but peek in. This visit was an eye opening learning experience into the world of socks for me. The store carries a variety of functional socks, like SmartWool for hiking, along with the oddball stuff you’d expect. During my visit, I learned there are two types of funky socks out there, the colorful crazy ones and then the novelty/themed variety, and in my opinion, the wearers of each are very different people. The fashionable funky sock wearer does so to add a little color to their otherwise more mundane wardrobe. See socks really don’t HAVE to match anymore, because no one sees them, but people still tend to do it anyway. Wearing fashionable funky socks is slightly rebellious, which makes it a lot of fun. When your mismatched socks peak out, everyone knows you’re just a little bit cooler than you seemed! The Sock Drawer seems to cater more to the thematic fanboy funky sock wearer, with walls lined with socks featuring themes from Star Wars to Sriracha, and everything in between. I don’t fancy myself a fanboy, though I could’ve seen myself owning a pair of socks with old school NES icons on them, if I’d found them. My friend and I searched for airplane themed socks for her fiancé, but just couldn’t find them. Of all the hobbies in the world, I guess flying is just too mainstream for socks. My experience here was great, and the owner behind the register was very helpful. Though I didn’t buy anything, I enjoyed browsing the hundreds of different designs and would definitely return to see what’s new on a future visit.

What was I thinking to give only 4 stars(in previous review)? Maybe it was the prices. Ok it’s more than you’ll pay for socks at Target. But after several years wearing their socks(I wear socks every day and have about 50 pairs from the Sock Drawer) I will say the price is worth it for the value. The selection has only gotten more amazing. Smartwool socks are comfortable and tough and beautiful. They have other amazing brands too. Still loving this place.

My lady like to buy these really crappy cheap tights from the crap store over there near Madonna. They last like two weeks then I see them in the trash. HOWEVER, I buy her tights from The Sock Drawer and I see her wearing them all year long. A couple of extra buck there and she rocks them all year! Worth every penny. Lots of cool styles and moves along with fashion as well.

Ok… thank you Beau for my new obsession… Smartwool socks are… THEBEST… especially the toe socks :-D My feet would always be cold, especially my toes. Not anymore! Neither are they too warm! Just perfectly happy. :-) All the other socks are great too, these just happen to be my favorite brand now. Stop by and see Brooke and Beau, they’re two of my most favorite people. Beau is probably one of the most entertaining people I know, so if you’re looking for some laughs & great socks, stop by! The Sock Drawer is the only place I will shop for socks for any occasion!

I had a few hours to kill in San Luis Obispo and I stopped by the Sock Drawer. Its worth dropping in even if you don’t plan to buy anything. Found the shop quite entertaining in terms of all the different types of prints you could ever want on a sock. I didn’t walk out with anything since the prices were much higher than I could get myself to pay for Frida Kahlo or Angry Bird socks. A fun window shopping stop!

A delightful, well-stocked boutique of socks — everything from the strong & silent types to the outrageously colorful. You may have to check on their«finger» socks availability — they sell out pretty quickly! ;-) The worker at the counter was very pleasant and helpful, too.
