I will not use or recommend this business again. In an effort to support local business my husband and I chose Idler’s to buy the appliances for our newly purchased home. The sales staff was helpful and informative and made us think we had made the right decision. We were warned that it may take 2 weeks for our appliances to be delivered and installed so we made sure to order with plenty of time. The Monday of the week of our move I started calling to check on the status of our appliances since I had not heard anything and I knew the clock was ticking before we would be living in our appliance-free home. The response I received for the first two calls were just the generic ‘it shouldn’t be too much longer’ and ‘we’ll call you when they come in.’ I asked if we could schedule an install because I would be moving that weekend and needed appliances. The answer was no, we don’t schedule that until the appliances arrive. On Wednesday I was told our appliances would be in on Thursday or Friday. Again I asked if we could schedule an install because I was moving that weekend and wanted to have refrigeration at the very least. Again the answer was no. So Friday afternoon around 2 pm, after still having heard nothing from Idler’s, I called yet again to check the status. The appliances were due to arrive later that day. I asked about the install because I was to be moving into a home the very next day without a stove, refrigerator, etc., with a 16 month old baby. I was told the soonest they could be delivered was the following Tuesday because all of their Saturday deliveries were booked. Maybe I should have been more insistent about scheduling the install but I thought that they probably knew what they were doing. I really wish that we had gone with Sears, Lowe’s, Home Depot, etc. I completely regret our decision to use Idler’s.
