My kids have attended both swim and College for Kids. Both are wonderful programs. The swim instructors are top notch. They really pay attention to each individual student and challenge to their ability. College for kids offers an amazing range of activities for students. They offer anything from tennis and track to welding and woodworking, cooking and paper mâché arts. I can’t say enough good things about these programs Cuesta offers we will definitely be back next year for both programs.

My 10 year old took a full day’s worth of classes during the first session and loved them. They really held his interest, with topics like Video Game Design, Photoshop, Web Wizards, Cartooning, and Comic Book Making. The Biology Bites teacher went out of her way to make things fun for the kids, by having them make a little treat each day. I liked that I could sign him up for a full day of classes so I could get to my own job during the day. The kids were well supervised on campus and I felt he was safe the whole time. I took several College for Kids classes about 25 years ago and I love that my kids are getting the same experience, and that Cuesta has updated their curriculum to keep up with what they’re interested in. They had something for everyone: the tech savvy kids had computer classes, the athletic kids had sports and outside activities, and there were writing classes too. Will send him again next year for sure.

2014 Central Coast Writers Conference Excellent content for first time attendee and new writer. Editor review was invaluable. AV work around for guest speaker Anne Perry was amazing. I’ll be back next year! Very excited to see Teri Bayus as Chair of conference next year. Expect great programs from her!

My son has attended Cuesta College for Kids for three summers. He is now 13 years old. For any parent who is looking for a «camp» that will keep their pre-teen entertained, this is the one. What we love about CCK is the fact that the kids must be independent and responsible for getting themselves to classes around campus, they get to choose from a wide variety of classes, and the program helps them feel engaged, in charge of their destiny, and adult-like. Perfect for the pre-teen! We also had our son taking the city bus to Cuesta, which added to his sense of independence. And, yes, there are other kids riding the city bus. Sure is easy on moms and dads too.
