Kimberly is a very skilled therapist who has an intuitive ability to find and address problem areas. I always feel fantastic after a bodywork session.

Kimberly is amazing. She’s also very good at massage. My favorite thus far, and I hear she’s a favorite of other masseuses as well which goes to show how skilled she is.

I was referred by my favorite previous bodywork masseuse. I asked over the phone for the price in advance and was offered a promotional rate for my first massage at $ 60, after the service I selected a 15% tip on top of that. My total came through higher than expected, so upon asking for a receipt the next day (texted and emailed a few times asking for one) I noticed she charged tip based on the price of $ 120 instead of the $ 60 rate I was quoted for my first appt. I was surprised because it wasn’t stated at time of payment that her normal rate was double or that the tip would be double, but I understand the principle so I didn’t complain even though that was now taking a 30% tip without my consent.
The massage itself was nice, however she wanted me to book upcoming appointments based on an hour session per section of my body, but I prefer a full body massage so I decided to wait a few days to make a follow up appointment.
Then, I get an email offering a free add on to my next massage of a 15 min peppermint scalp or foot massage. I responded within a week of receiving that email that I would like to redeem that offer and make an appointment, no reply. Replied again 2 weeks later, and again no reply.
Maybe she is on an extended vacation since May? I don’t know. The first massage was pretty decent and I would be willing to try her again if she would respond to messages… Or maybe she didn’t want me as client, the world may never know.

This review is strictly on the lack of communication. I never had any services provided to me. This is my experience:
I was planning a vacation to the area and wanted to book a massage. I called the number listed, no answer (understandable that she could be in session). So, I sent a text message like the voicemail suggests, no reply. Tried calling again a few days later, voice mail again. Left a voice mail to see if there was any availability, no reply (again). I tried booking via online, but it was being weird and not loading correctly on my phone so, hence why I tried reaching out through the phone a couple times. After the 2 attempts of trying to contact the owner, I never received a reply. I was very sad because there are great reviews and I really wanted to have my own personal experience, but that just did not happen. Even if there were no openings, I feel that it would still be etiquette to at least reply to an inquiry.

Today was my first massage with Kimberly and I am beyond impressed. She knew exactly where my body needed the most attention and worked out all my kinks without any pain. She’s also very friendly and knowledgeable which made me feel even more comfortable throughout my massage. I will definitely be coming back to get another massage soon!

Just had my first massage with Kimberly, I got the referral from a co-​worker. She was amazing! Everything from the ambiance to the heated towels and perfect pressure level combined with just the right amount of work on the entire body. I feel like my shoulder aches and sore back are gone. She can really dive into your needs and read your body.

Just moved to the area and was researching a new massage therapist via Unilocal when I stumbled across Kimberly. Booked the appointment because of the good reviews and her killer New Client Special (check out her website). Was skeptical at first but after the first 5 minutes it was clear she’s probably the BEST I’ve ever been too! She’s earned my business!

Finding Kimberly has truly been transformative. I see her weekly and feel that a doorway to health and vitality that I didn’t know existed has been opened to me. Her knowledge of the body and its workings is unusually wide and deep. Her sensitivity to exactly the correct pressure has allowed my muscles to trust her, stop being hyper vigilant, and actually relax, (strangely something I have never been able to do during a massage in the past). Based on her accurate assessment of my body’s need she has developed a treatment strategy which continues to deliver more and more benefits in terms of aches and pain reduction, range of motion expansion, sleep enhancement, and general increased energy and vitality.

Going to a new bodyworker is always an adventure. You are never quite sure what to expect. I have been to many bodyworkers in the past. Some are ok but most are robotic. Finding a «good» one is hard and finding a master of their profession is next to impossible. The master, one so passionate and knowledgeable that it shows in every aspect of their work. This is exactly what I found with Kimberly. She IS a master of her field. One of a kind. A true inspiration and breath of fresh air. Bodywork is so much more than following a scripted pattern or just working on tight mussels. It is a dance. A dance of body and spirit. A melding of connection, intuition, and knowledge with the elegant grace of touch. Kimberly is this dance. One who can help guide you toward your healing, bliss, and relaxation. I am eternally grateful to have experienced Kimberly, truly a master bodyworker.

I’m a massage therapist living in San Francisco. Every time I visit slo I make sure to get a massage with Kimberly. Even if it’s been a year in between visits it feels like she’s never forgotten the feel of my body. Almost immediately I fall into a trance and I feel so incredibly blessed by her touch. Massage isn’t just about getting the knots worked out, but about the connection and trust with another human being. It’s better than therapy. She is the best thing that’s ever happened to the field of bodywork. I can’t wait to come back for another visit!

My friend Rob Chang referred me to Kimberly for bodywork the other day. I wanted to give her a shout out for doing such great work on my neck and back. I injured both surfing last Friday and had been in severe pain until seeing Kimberly last night. She is running currently running a $ 60 special for 90 minutes of deep bodywork which is an amazing deal for this modality and level of care!

Anyway I can give more stars? Kimberly is a life saver! I was feeling HORRIBLE with TMJ and upper body aches from past injuries. 90 minutes of BLISS! She is so intuitive I didn’t have to explain where I needed work at all. She is so professional, kind, cares and will always make sure her pressure is okay. Little lady with strong hands, I needed that massage more than I knew! I have been feeling great since then but am definitely coming back this week to continue this healthy feeling! Thanks again, Kimberly! You are me and my roommates favorite by far!

Kimberly is very knowledgeable about the body and without telling her exactly where I am having problems; she zeros in like a laser to address all my issues. This therapist has had a lot of high end spa experience from southern California but her specialty is definitely deep tissue. More importantly she has some major education and hours behind her (goes up to Esalen — Big Sur frequently) so she has developed a unique signature style that I have never had before.
Online booking for appointments is convenient and parking is easy (which is hard in San Luis Obispo sometimes). Highly recommend.
