Alamo Self Storage – San Luis Obispo

VERY helpful staff, we dealt with multiple people and each one of them was super nice and went out of their way to make our move easier! The place was clean, organized, private and had better hours than every other place in town being open M-​F 7am-​7pm and on weekends too. Thanks!

Okay, so I’m a hoarder. If I think I can use something for an art project, it goes into storage forever. I also love books, and keep over 300 in my art library, so
when work told me last year that I had to change rooms with only two days notice, I immediately had a meltdown, until I figured I could store stuff until the other worker got out of my assigned space. This gave me time to sort and throw out stuff, and the move out went well.
It was at the high traffic college kids leaving town time of year, but the people at Alamo were patient and friendly in providing a suitable storage space for all my stuff.
The storage unit was clean and well lit, and had a roll-​up door easily accessible by the variety of vehicles we were using. It is also dry, being near the airport in this sunny town. It feels very secure, placed back from the street, and accessible by a code.
Well run by friendly staff, they worked with me to provide a good deal and incentive to move in right away!

I called three other places for storage, and Richard was by far the most helpful. He was prompt and efficient, and clearly tried to understand and meet my needs. He made what he had available work for me. His prices were very fair, his facility clean and obviously cared for, and he was kind and professional! I highly recommend this self storage above all the others in San Luis Obispo!!!

I came down to SLO on last minute to move of my daughter. Richard the owner was the owner of the self storage and was kind and friendly. I will recommend Alamo to everyone, Richard even gave me a great deal.
