The Al Pastor here is good, but the tortillas seemed a bit stale. Only came here because I’m waiting for Tacos El Gordo to open up down the street.

I’m sorry not worth a single penny. Food was not good at all. I mean common, we are lucky to live in an area where thousands of taquerias are available to us. Meat was bland and cold and the tortilla it came on was yuk!!! The tongue on our burrito was overcooked and crispy… yes i said«crispy», really? It’s supposed to be soft and moist. Another plate we had was pozole, well they certainly can kill it… tasteless broth with chili as color with fresh, cold out if the can hominy. Did not even get enough veggies to give it some texture and flavor. The salsas were also blah! The one star is for the chips that we got at the end.

Taqueria Camino Real has upped their pricing(who hasn’t?) burritos(7.95), tacos(2) pricing difficult to read since it’s written small. eats: asada burrito w/black beans(7.95) –lots of meat, grilled to order(reheated) slight gristle issue –huge burrito, good value, not a lot of beans/rice. choose black beans –salsa bar had four choices –chips offered, taken, commercial type, not home made 3.5 stars frijoles refritoes: –treated like a brutha here, friendly, courteous service –parking lot jammed with tow truck and«brinks type» armour vehichle during my visit parking available if one is watchful and lucky. –would definitely come here if i get the hungries. 8 isn’t unusual for a burrito now, size here is al grande, bigger than the taco truck up the street. –basic menu is present, not sure about fancier offerings.

This place was recommended to me by a friend and I was very impressed with my first veggie burrito. My cousin’s chicken fajitas looked good and my kids loved their quesadilla(how can a quesadilla be bad, right?). Naturally, I was totally in agreement when my husband brought home some food from here tonight. The quesadillas were obviously good, my husbands nachos were«alright» but my burrito… where to begin. A vegetarian burrito with no cheese(aka flavor) and grilled veggies(including heaping bits of broccoli?!?) is what came to me. I was so confused… broccoli in a burrito?!? For serious… I get the vibe that somebody is seriously confused in the kitchen. Generally you try to pair foods together that are complimentary, not just dump everything in the freezer into the mix. It was a tasteless awkward meal which I couldn’t even make good with several little plastic cups of salsa. Sad night for my burrito craving.

I really wanted to like this place since its close to my house but having to ask for forks and chips first turned me off. The food was just okay the tacos in my opinion was dry. The rice lacked salt. The salad was pretty good but can’t really mess that up… Or can you? And the tortillas had a slight weird smell to them. Was pretty bummed cause I was craving it and took some guts to take myself on a date to get it. Oh well I’ll stick with my spot in Hayward.

Tried this place when they first opened. I was not impressed with the customer service. I tried giving them a second chance months later, same service. The salsa bar was a disgrace both times. The customer service discouraged me to even ask for refills on the salsa. The cashier girl is not friendly at all. I hoped that it would have been different the second time around since this place is a block away from home. But I’d rather drive to Los Pericos for better service and better food.

I ordered the taco plate. .. had to return it. Where to start. .. when I asked which of the salsas was mild I was told they did not have one. So I sat down to eat. The beans tasted like they came from a can and the rice was bland. I took 2 bites of the taco and sent the plate back. Really??? They didn´t bother to season the meat, not even salt and pepper. .. NOTHING. I gave them one star because the people were nice. Don´t eat here try something else.

Food is ok, they’re just nickel and dimers. Stingiest taco shop I’ve ever been to. Cashier woman is mean.

Not so much of real Mexican food, but this is my own opinion. Not a whole lot going on an a burrito almost the same flavor as a baja fresh burrito so that will tell you a lot. Plus $ 12.50 for a burrito and a drink? Don’t care about how expensive it is I could go up to $ 30.00 for a good burrito, but for the one I had to day $ 4.99 I really wanted to like this plus I guess is just not for me.

Great food I love the enchiladas verdes con pollo. Their chicken is SO tender for those who wear braces like myself, I def will suggest this plate.

While there is no air conditioning in this spot that still looks like Quizno’s, we braved the high temps to enjoy some filling taco plates. Their red salsa is on point; in fact, none of their salsas is gringofied to blandness. That’s why our family approves. We first tried their food at our parish festival last fall and decided to check out their storefront shortly thereafter. At the time, they had a basic menu of tacos; now you can have menudo and posole on weekends and they do have breakfast burritos. No-frills. You walk up to the counter to order and get your own drinks which do include jamaica and horchata. I like that they now have posters of their menu items but they should replace the soda machine which is halfway out of order and redo the paint. Watch out in the parking lot. The strip mall includes Rasputin’s, Big 5, and Starbucks so folks fly through here and park all wrong.

Small shop that I wish I could frequent more! The food is DELICIOUS and the staff is friendly and greet me right as I walk in. I’ve gotten the taco salad a couple times and that is what has me coming back even when it’s out of the way!

Came here for a quick lunch. No one here(Monday). My wife likes the veggie burrito which is a decent size. Food came out fast and tasted fresh. It’s very clean inside and they have nice posters that make it looks well put together. The shopping center is a little rough around the edges, but that’s not on them. TV was off and soda machine was out of service. They did have horchata and agua fresca. They have a salsa bar with 4 different salsas, but no chips out. I would go back, but there is a lot of competition that may come first.

Man I wish I could give this place 5 stars! Their food was delicious! Got carne asada and it was a huge portion seasoned really good. The salsa they had was tasty too, but in the middle of my meal one of the employees started playing a rated r movie, and I had to watch a sex scene and a stripper dance naked while I ate, totally not cool. Employees were not very considerate at all

WOW that’s all I gotta say. Go order your self a torta and a coke promise you won’t be sorry. This place used to be a Quiznos next to big 5. We walked in looking for a Mexican food place that was outside of mediocre. I am happy we found this place. Super clean staff stays out of your way, and the overall quality etc is the best.

Since this restaurant serves Tripe an automatic 5 stars from Me. Considering that the Tacos were a little more than other places they’re still delicious. Small salsa bar. Friendly staff. Clean restaurant. Decent amount of parking. Really visible.

Wayyyy too expensive for what you’re getting. A super steak and shrimp burrito and a soda costs me $ 15. The quality is good but for that price I can get waited on. They should also improve customer service.

Went in today and try their super chicken burrito. It was a good size and the ingredients were fresh. I had to stop myself from finishing it. If I would’ve, no work would’ve got done… Z z z z This might be my new #1 spot. The other place I go has no parking for my work truck. I am now a fan. Check’m out!!!

Even though it’s a little expensive? It’s better than going to Taco Bell and getting an imitation! Get a real burrito!

Clean establishment, friendly cashier with good prices. Tamales were good and had a spicy green sauce I loved! Looking forward to trying other items next time I’m in the area.
