I hate to blast this place, ’cause I know they’re struggling and they seem like nice people. But I might hafta… We walk in and there’s nobody there.(about 12:45pm). As we approach the counter, the lady behind the counter turns on the light to the giant menu board… I think to myself, uh oh, this place is trying to cut as many corners as possible. We give her our order for the sandwiches and she tells us like five times to sit down and to make ourselves home. So we awkwardly did. The sandwiches came out and as we approach the counter to pick them up, she gives us a cross look and says, «Ok who pay?»…I no longer feel home. Sandwich was average at best. Towards the end of the meal, she brings out watermelon for the table. I happen to be the one kid in America who doesn’t like watermelon, but it was a nice gesture. Probably won’t go back.

Just checked out Nancy’s Café and really enjoyed it! It’s tucked away in an industrial part of town by the airport. They have a pretty big selection for lunch and a bunch of breakfast items. They also have an outside patio that I can’t wait to check out with nicer weather.

Okay, new review. I have gone to Nancy’s several times since my last review and I like it. Creative sandwiches, nice selection of beer/snacks/drinks, and I am addicted to their breakfast burritos. Again, a little small but I think the size is reasonable for the $ 2.95 price tag. A bunch of my coworkers go there for lunch every single day, so I think that says something. Suki(I think she might be one of the owners) is an absolute doll and has made me a loyal customer. Overall, I’m glad this place is around because it’s the one deli you can go eat at and not break yourself, which is great in this damned recession. Check it out if you get a chance.
