Nice field which is located next to football and tennis courts. We love going there. This field is maintained pretty well

This is a nice venue for both football and baseball on the high school level… The fields are pristine and I enjoyed watching SL high Friday night lights… Baseball field’s outfield fences are Big league depth… Football field and the track are artificial surfaces

We came here to watch our son play San leandro youth football team. The field was nice, parking was good and the bathrooms were clean. Very nice place for our kids to play. San leabdro should be proud!

I come here mainly to play some tennis with my buddies. The courts are somewhat clean, and a recent windstorm really gunked up the surface with leaves from nearby redwoods. The courts were cleaned up promptly the day after though. The entire area gets insanely cold and windy at times. Perhaps my biggest gripe about playing here is that the tennis courts are oriented in the wrong direction(East/West). This means that from 10am to 3pm, it’s practically impossible to play in the far side court without the sun being right in your eyes. Booooo. Being incredibly inexperienced with the art of tennis, our group would occasionally home run swing one of our balls out into the parking lot of the adjacent Marina Outlet Mall. They have a fence door that leads straight into the parking lot, yet they lock it up for some mysterious reason, resulting in a major detour if we wanted to gather up some balls. Partly our fault too, but still annoying. Worst thing about this place is that it’s really not the safest place to park your car. It’s a small low traffic street intersecting Marina Blvd, really shady. So in a few separate occasions, I found broken window glass strewn all over the parking lot at Burrell. I’d be careful when things start to get dark. Overall, this is probably one of the few public tennis courts in sl. I reluctantly go there because it’s so close to hom. Can’t vouch for the baseball, football, and softball fields however, but they look alright for events. Just be careful and I guess it’s a passable place to chill and play.

Located betwen Merced & Fairway Dr. right behind Marina Square shopping mall. Just tennis, softball and/or baseball fields. In the fall/winter youth football league takes over. Used by the community for graduations, community gatherings. Sometimes the community puts out a BBQ that is just wonderful. No playgrounds, so be prepared to help entertain the little ones.
