Desert Patio By the Beach

If there were a «0» stars that is what I would give this store. Upon walking in the door the so called Design Consultant Louis Moody left here cell phone and asked if she could help us. We told her that we were looking for a patio table. She was very disinterested but did walk us through the store and showed us a few tables. Some other people came into the store, and at that time (who apparently were previous clients or friends because she just walked away from us to greet them. As we were walking out the door she said to us «by the way here is my card». Needs to say I discarded her card and would never go back into this store yet let alone make a purchase.

We recently purchased a 13-​foot offset patio umbrella from Desert Patio. Linda was fantastic, taking the time to talk through all the options, pros and cons, styling choices, patio arrangement, etc. We purchased the umbrella and a battery-​powered umbrella light, but when Linda heard we were having a party the following weekend she managed to put a rush on the order and the installation & delivery. It arrived the morning of the party, and the guys did a great job installing it.
Lastly, and this blows me away, Linda called us on the day of the party and reminded us to charge the battery for the light! Only twice in my life has someone done something like this.
The umbrella price was excellent (compared to other 13-​foot umbrellas we looked at), and Linda was fantastic. We had planned for our guests to spend all their time inside, but we ended up on the patio under the umbrella late into the evening — and had a fantastic time!

11 months ago I was shopping for patio furniture and decided to go to the furthest location first; glad I did. I had shopped on-​line so I was educated on the quality of the various products available and wanted some high end lounge furniture to compliment the OW Lee dining furniture we had. Desert Patio had ALL of the types of products and brands I was considering. Linda was the designer I worked with and she was fantastic. She’s was able to answer all my questions and offer considerations that I hadn’t thought of myself. I never felt pressured to purchase and when I did buy, the next day, I knew I had made the right choice. Recently there was an issue with one of the chairs that turned out to be a minor problem but she worked with Gensun to understand the issue, came out herself to correct it and basically handled the entire situation with positivity and in good faith. I will be working with Linda and Desert Patio on any future patio needs. If you live in North or Central Orange County, make the drive, it’s worth it.

We loved it and we shopped every store in the area and online and we got the Umbrella we wanted for far less than anyone else. Our sales lady was WONDERFUL — as was our time in the shop.
Do not waste time at other places. The prices here were ever $ 100 BELOW sale prices at other locations —
They carry the «good stuff» really,. The super high quality Sunbrella fabrics in every shade and type.
