The pattys at CJ’s are getting smaller and smaller. I hadn’t been to CJ’s in years and we only came here since In N Out was super crowed with a line of cars down the street. Meanwhile, CJ’s had absolutely no line.
I ordered a famous star combo for $ 7. I think they automatically upgrade you to the large if you don’t say medium so they can charge you more. At least you are able to choose from fries and onion rings. The patty was flat compared to what I remember. Parking is ample but they have a sign where you are only able to park in their lot for 1 hour max.

This was my first time here at Carl’s. I haven’t eaten fast food since I was a teenager 20 years ago. I ordered a chocolate shake and a western bacon cheeseburger. It was good. What made it even better was the service from Lucio! Wow! Talk about outstanding customer service! He was so amazing! So friendly! So attentive! Always smiling! Super kind! He deserves a promotion or something to recognize his hard work. Thank you Lucio for incredible service!

Alice is a terrible rude employee and should be fired!!!. Worst service I have ever had.

Very grimy, dirty, sticky. I took a picture of wall where a framed picture was taken down to show the massive dirtiness of all surface areas. The food was cooked fresh but it was empty when we visited on a Monday afternoon after a field trip to the SJC mission. Women’s bathrooms were disgustingly dirty. Friendly staff at front but with as dirty as dinning room was, I’m concerned about the cleanliness area of food prep area.

The food was not good. Bread tasted stail and hard… ordered a western bacon double cheese burger and fries. Why was the total more than almost double what in and out charges and the bacon… nasty…the bread… nasty…and the fries tasted so heat lamped. I wonder how they stay in bizzness with the other 2 better burger joints literally right next door… good luck with that… thats like trying to sell bottled muddy water right in front of the grocery store

SPEAK ENGLISH! I cannot understand a word they say, which is why my order is always wrong. There are much better options in the area that are staffed by people who can speak our language.

Order a big burger. I ate it, and felt like the $ 2.47 I paid was for it was not worth it. Burger was bearable, ate two bites, than decide to. get a burger at In and Out. $ 2.11 for a much superior burger. I promise myself … never again will I go back to this Carl jr.

If you’re headed North, keep going to Oso/​Pacific Park.
Heading South, keep going to Christianitos.
Both are far better in service.
The staff is not only poor at doing their job, the are rude while doing it.
In-​n-​Out next door or Jack In the Box/​Del Taco on the other side of the freeway will get my drivethru business going forward.
