My friend went to get some food for us and they are gone. So sad, now on a quest to find another. :(

We’ll looks like it’s gone. Too bad. Good news #1 Chinese Kitchen(used to be Blossom Valley Chinese Kitchen) opened up under new owners at 5585 Snell Ave, San Jose, CA95123. Food there is good and they’re very friendly.

Wing’s is no more, alas. I ate there less than a week ago(for the first time in several years), and had a very positive experience, and was going to write a review to that effect, but when I went there again today, they were closed in the middle of the day, without explanation. I just called their number, and its disconnected. Too bad, because their food was pretty good, and overall was a truly first-rate bargain.

Absolutely horrible, worst ‘Chinese’ I have ever had. Taste was bad, texture was bad. The chow mein wasn’t too horrible, but everything else was. Definitely cheap especially considering the large portions, but beware you get what you pay for.

I was craving vegetable wonton soup at 10:30 in the morning. Saw Wings, came in, ordered, lady that helped me was super nice, got my order with in a few minutes. For $ 5 bucks, I got a huge portion of yummy hot salty broth and veggies that just hit the spot. nothing fancy, and the wontons looked absolutely gross(don’t eat meat, just love the outside of wontons — totally bizarre, i know). Anyways, i fed them to my dog, and she was happy. Anywhere I can get my fix at 10:30 in the AM(I’m a fan of immediate satisfaction), is alright with me. They have really really good fortune cookies too — spend the extra dollar and buy a bag! Like nothing i’ve ever tasted! Not sure where they get them, but dang, they’re good!

The rice/noodles always are sub-par. They seem dry or stale and are not very flavorful. The dishes are pretty standard, the complaint I have is that they are too similar. Like 3 of the dishes look exactly like general tso’s chicken. It sucks because there are not many chinese places in south san jose.

Came here the other night, and everything was as good as usual except for the rice. It was kinda dry, but I guess thats what happens when you go right before closing. lol. I was happy to find nothing in my Broccoli beef other than those two things as well. I guess they had some complaints about the filler. lol.

This is now my alternative for Panda Express unless I’m in the mood for Panda’s orange chicken which is better than Wing’s. This place is less expensive than Panda AND they pack your plate. I couldn’t finish my 2 entrée plate from here and the Panda equivalent never fills me up. The quality of this is about the same as Panda. 4 stars because I’m rating this as a FASTFOOD place not a damn gourmet Chinese place which earns just as many stars with much better food quality. For around $ 6, you definitely get what you pay for.

The food is a bit salty, but the quantity makes up for it. I always get 2 dishes meal and 3 egg rolls,$ 8.50 for the whole meal and I eat it for 2 meals. The place is for for quantity, not quality. I will go there when ever I’m in mood for cheap Chinese food.

I ate here for the second time today. Both times were about the same. Wing’s is, essentially, a Panda Express or a Mr. Chau’s. The food offerings are the same, the price is about the same, the service is the same. But…and this is a big but… I do think the food quality is just slightly above the aforementioned«traditional» fast food Chinese places. I have had the orange chicken, the veggie deluxe, the chow mein, the fried rice, and the house chicken. Everything was good. Like another poster mentioned, at Panda Express, it’s all about the orange chicken. There’s not really anything else that’s good. So, if you want a place with pretty consistent, cheap, and already prepared Chinese food to-go, Wing’s is a good place to hit.

Wing’s? What can I tell you about Wing’s? How about this: I was having a great day with a friend I haven’t seen in a year. We had a great breakfast at a bagel shop then went shopping for a few hours. It was looking to be one of the greatest days in a long time for me. Then… We decided to go to Wing’s. Before I tell you what happened let me just inform you that I am with my friend currently and he is diahrreaing all over the place from the seemingly week old food that we were served earlier today. I believe we would have been better off eating cat or possibly squirrel. Wing’s is the worst Chinese Food I have ever had. The food was looking 5 days old, the water tasted like bubble gum, the soy sauce tasted like crap, etc. The food was SO bad that neither of us could even finish half of our plate. We felt so TERRIBLE after eating this waste that we decided to stop shopping and go home. Wing’s literally ruined my day off. Thanks a lot.

I tried Wing’s YEARS ago it was awful… refused to go back. Was shopping at Costco and just had a craving for Chinese food, my significant other said lets try that place, I explained how bad it was before but agreed to give it a second chance. I had heard that the owners had changed so I was ready to try it. I am sooo glad that I did. The food was great. I don’t usually like chow mein… I cannot get enough of theirs! It is so delicious! Their green bean chicken is super garlicy & super yummy. So far the only thing that I do not like is their eggrolls. But I am more of a King Egg Roll kinda girl anyway. ;) I definitely recommend. It’s a great fast food place. The food is always good, hot & plentiful!

mmmmm, i frequent this place. I dont understand people here complaining about the people at the counter not being the nicest. What do you expect them to say? Its an in and out place. They have stuff to do and you have places to go. The rice is good. Chow Mein is good. House chicken is good. Spicey ribs are good. Beef and broccoli is good. Orange chicken is good. 5 flavors chicken can be good if they dun load up on the juices. Lemon chicken is good. Sweet and sour pork is good if you like it, I get tired of it after 5 bites or so. Pot stickers are good. Eggrolls arent that great. The tenderness of the chicken may vary sometimes but for the most part its good. $ 6.04 for 2 items and rice/chow mein and they really pile it on. Not fancy chinese food and it doesnt try to be. Sometimes you just gotta go ghetto.

A hole in the wall place if I ever been in one. My little grandson’s tummy was growling and we needed to get some shopping done. So, we stopped in here to grab a bite to eat. The lady who filled our little styrofoam containers didn’t crack a smile and looked like she was being held there against her wishes. The walls were dingy and I could hear the lady yelling at the cook in the back ground. The food was less than mediocre. Hard to even think that Panda Express is soooo much better. Don’t think we’re coming back.

If you order wisely you can actually be okay. First the chow mien is better than the fried rice, the beef and broccoli is okay as well, stay away from the sweet and sour stuff, the orange chicken is edible… Bottom line is the place is real cheap, they give you a lot, and if you get it fresh it isn’t that bad. This is fast food, not gourmet. I have a lot worse.

I ate here twice because I doubted myself the first time. Nope, I was right. The cleanliness looks a little risky. If you know of a good FF Chinese not too far from this area please let me know! –Thanks

I don’t understand why people rate this place so low. I am a picky Asian eater and I have been to many Chinese restaurants all over the world. But I happened to like the Beef Chow Fun that is cooked to order. I actually think that quality is comparable, if not better than other Chinese restaurant in the bay area(like ABC Seafood in milpitas, Mandarin Gourmet in Cupertino…) Well of course, this is fast food. I am only rating the quality, not the atmosphere. I am also surprised that I don’t see as many Asians patron in this restaurant. I have not tried the pre-made food as it doesn’t look appealing to my taste. Service is excellent. The ladies serving behind were friendly and helpful. I will definitely come back to this place when I am in the area.

This is really bad Chinese food, but for some reason, I ate all of what I had ordered. It’s really greasy, but also really cheap. The seating is rather dirty too. I don’t think I’ll be back – stick to the $ 1.50 Costco hotdog.

I actually have a lot of History with one of the owners of this place. Before wings came to be he used to own a great formal chinese restraunt. My parents went there since before I was born and then one day it was gone. We were told he got cheated on the lease by the ladies in the store next door. A few years later wings opened up and its owned by his father in law but he still manages it. For a while when we would come in he would actually make us a nice dinner, not the premade stuff but after a while he dissapeared and we stopped going. Its about average for premade chinese fast food, nothing to write home about. The workers are really nice though.
