Super friendly girl @ the makeup cosmetic section! This Walgreens no longer carries Milani brand of makeup which saddens me! Walgreens was the only store I knew to carry it & this is no longer true.

Probably this ia the worst experience I have ever had. They wanted to close 5 minutes before the store was actually meant to close. The castores Michael kept tapping his fingers so i would hurry up! Totally rude! They made a mistake on My bill só I had to return the item… Michael was pissed. Called the manager for approval of the transaction and the manager Michelle come over obviously pissed as well for having to do her work! They kept yelling «don’t do on the camera» GM, please revise the video and be aware of the awful customer service I received on June ⁰⁶⁄₁₈ closing time. The security guard seemed nice even though he did not say anything… fire michael and fire michelle! I will not be back untill they are gone! Ps; I was spending over 100 hundreds bucks! I am pissed at myself for not returning everything and spending my money elsewhere!

I work at a different walgreens and even I make sure I get my photos at this walgreens, Not only is the staff friendly but also the photo quality is supurb.

I tend to be a fan of this Walgreens, which is why this review is a four and not a three.
The service is quick, as usually there’s no line and they tend to have brands Safeway lacks. This last visit they had a fantastic Halloween section. With quite a few cute things for the holiday.
They’re well stocked with friendly service and clean. The only neutral aspect is I’ve found CVS to have better deals. The CVS card tends to earn me more savings than the Walgreens card.
Back in SF I tended to use Walgreens incredibly frequently with their «cash back» print outs but CVS prints them out for me in store when I walk in. I can send coupons to my card through my email. Much more time efficient and less hassle.
Thus why I tend to balk at shopping at Walgreens now, unless someone else is buying: D

I’m pretty happy with this place — the pharmacy staff are always helpful with explaining my random meds (I’ve completely lost count) they also refill and have them ready even before I call it in! I rarely wait in line, and it’s nice that the staff actually KNOW me, unlike the evil pharmacy that resides on Hamilton and Bascom.
It’s quiet here, almost a creepy quiet since there are not many customers. I actually find it refreshing not having to deal with hoards of people in the store, but at the same time has me scared that this place will go out of business if there’s only 3 people shopping here.
Always great to pop in and grab random items — Distilled water, tweezers, a magic wrench, I even had my passport photos taken here!
This location is situated in a spot that makes it somewhat difficult to enter and exit, and that the parking is limited, but pleased with the customer service — that makes it all worth it!

I come here about once a week. It’s convenient because the roads are not very busy, unlike those at Rite Aid and CVS. My favorite part is when the seasonal goods go on sale. :)

One of the newer and cleaner Walgreens, I prefer coming to this one.
My gyms are closer to the one on Winchester/​Hamilton and San Carlos/​Meridian but I prefer coming here.
Employees here are really nice and helpful. The store is BRIGHTLY lit and well kept. I also like how the aisles are wide compared to how cramped up the Winchester/​Hamilton store is.
Pharmacy will usually fill for you on the spot, so wait time is minimized. Same with the photo lab, they will usually print for you right away if they aren’t busy.
My only gripe is the small parking lot and how it’s on the busy corner. So getting in and out of it can be a hassle! But I like this location. I feel comfortable and welcomed when shopping here.

I’m a long time customer of Walgreens. However, I will NEVER shop at another Walgreens ever again. I was sold a product that broke my printer. When I called the Walgreens to ask what to do I was told: ‘Oh, that product only works 50% of the time.’
Who sells a product that only works 50% of the time and if it doesn’t work, it will break your computer 100% of the time! When I posed this question to the attendee who me the product she said, ‘Technically I did what I was supposed to do’. Way to shirk accountability, Walgreens. Yes, technically sold me a product. (but apparently Walgreens doesn’t think the product they sell should actually work!)
It has been three weeks since this incident. The manager has not called me back at all. I’ve filled a case with 1−800-WALGREENS and they have not called me back (despite telling me repeatedly that someone will call back).
Walgreens has lost my business!

I have never written a poor review, so this is a first for me.
I understand Walgreens security is in place to keep the premises safe for employees and perspective customers. But, I have never had the overseeing eyeball focused on me in this way.
Maybe, today I look like a suspicious bag lady with a bulky gray messenger bag that holds all my values including my wallet and iPad. I was also holding my reusable bag for purchases. Instead of placing my items for purchase in a blue walgreens basket, I put them in reusable bag.
while shopping, I noticed a worker in my my aisle state that if I was ready, I could pay at her register. I went into another aisle to look for another item of purchase and heard someone ask for security to be on the floor. (I didn’t know that was for me!) I was then approached by another worker (a security lady of my similar ethnicity I come to find out later) who asked if I needed assistance. I said no and focused on comparing prices.
I took my items in my reusable bag to the cash register and waited in line to pay. Two minutes later, the security girl popped up at the register in back of me and said she could ring me up, so I gave her the reusable bag.
Here is the the funky part. After she scanned all the items, she asked if I had anything else to scan in my «bag». She had my reusable bag, so I showed her again my empty bag. She pointed to my gray messenger bag, the one with my iPad and wallet. (Don’t they have cameras for this?!). I gave her a long directed look and said «No, why would I do that? Do I look like a shoplifting bag lady to you?» She then said with a fake customer service smile that usually bags like mine are checked in at the back counter. I said I’ve already shopped there at round the same times in the evening and no one has asked me to check in my bag.
I just had to laugh at this experience and vent here on Unilocal.My lesson is be mindful of the overseeing eyeballs that «observe» customer behavior. The Downtown Sj Walgreens on first and Santa Clara streets seems more aware and respectful of it’s customers.
I just have to laugh at this whole scenario and write a Unilocal review.

Seriously, why does every Walgreen’s look exactly the same? Boring!
This place receives business from me because it is a short drive/​walk/​bike ride, and it is open 24 hours. In mentioning that, it is good in the sense that if my daughter wakes up in the middle of the night and I’m out of cough medicine, we do not have to go too far.
I have always found what I am looking for here, but I don’t exactly enjoy shopping here. I feel like I can get a better deal at Target, but shops here in times of desperate need or laziness. The people that work here aren’t very friendly and are either super tired or hate their job. I haven’t figure it out yet. Does it really hurt that much to smile and say hello? I don’t think so. That’s why I tried to brighten your day with a pleasant greeting! Smile people!

I’ve been going here for years. It’s a nice neighborhood drugstore and I always get my prescriptions within 10 – 15 minutes if I want to wait. But I usually call in ahead or reorder online and they are ready before they say they will be. Pharmacy staff helpful and friendly.
