CVS/Pharmacy

Have you ever gone to the store and thought I just need to grab a few things, and then the store is out of every single thing you wanted to grab??! Well if this hasn’t happen to you before come to this cvs. I live across the street and basically have decided I’d rather drive 3 miles away to go to the store because of the constant disappointment. One star because for the most part the store is clean, maybe because they are always out of everything!

I hate this CVS.
I mean with all of my heart this place sucks.
The first issue to be aware of is that never in my life had I been afraid of being kidnapped from a parking lot in broad daylight before walking in this area. Due to the gas station closing and DD-​Discounts next door there is now a huge space that has been taken up by creepy campers, cars with people just sitting in them and a general feeling of crack deals and prostitution.
The CVS itself has a very warehouse feel to it. It’s frequently missing essentials, is fairly dirty and more often than not their service is mindblowingly rude. They will ask that you leave any and all bags (as well as large purses) at the front and then proceed not to watch them. I’ve had times when I’ve calmly told them my mini backpack was a purse and they’ve argued with me.
The only positive aspect of this space is that if you drive here and need simply one thing, it’s rather like a gas station. You can get in, get out and go about your day because you have your item.
That is literally the only positive.

Every time I go to a CVS I feel like someone in front of me has some problem with their receipt or the listed prices, etc. I’ve had these issues too, and it just seems to be more prominent lately.
Other than that issue, I tend to have good shopping experiences here. I’ll have to give an update after I check out the post Halloween sales ;-)

How is this place in business? The parking lot always has tons of creepy lurkers around, and the inside of the store is like a ghost town. I went to pick up my prescription and literally stood there waiting while the girl just did something else… She didn’t bother to acknowledge my presence. Every time I go there are total scum freaks there taking up space and time to pick up their «prescriptions» and the wait is ridiculous. Needless to say, I’ll now be picking my prescriptions up from Walgreens!

I have been to so many CVS Pharmacy it will make your head spin. I enjoy going in and getting exactly what I need. I know a good store when I see it and a bad store. I have been dealing with this CVS location for months now, and to tell you the truth I give this place no stars, unfortunately Unilocal makes me give at least 1 star. Where to begin on this location? Number one their tea section is in two different isles, the expensive tea is located near the registers and the cheap tea is in the back. I was buying the expensive tea because I thought that was all they carried. I raised a complaint to the manager once I found out and told them to have the tea all in one section. He said that corporate would not allow that. That was a lame excuse and unacceptable. Now for the place itself. The location is in a decent neighborhood but the store looks like something out of east Oakland or Compton Los Angele. There is no carpets and the floors look like they have not been cleaned in years. The employees go to work with visible hickeys on their necks and use profanity. Majority of the employees take no pride in their job and all look like white trash. This is the employees but the customers are worse. Drunks walking in off the streets, gang members from the east side San Jose coming in to buy their alcohol before boarding the light rail system. People in line smelling like alcohol, or not showering, or feces. I’m sorry but this is the worst of the worst and unacceptable in all cases. They should tear down the place and erect something suitable for humans. Nothing but animals reside in this CVS. I now drive five miles out of my way to another CVS, and Walgreens. Stay away from here!!!
