This place is awesome again because it’s pretty fast and next to the koja place. So if there’s a big line there, I just go here: D. Also, can order online for fast pickup. Uh, also food is great.

Really not into this kind of food but figured I’d try it ! Got the beef bowl with brown rice and the works. To my surprise full of flavor(tried the lime soy) and filling to say the least ! Lady behind the counter is a sweetheart I’ll be back more often !

Of all the Chipotle lookalikes popping out everywhere, this has to be my favorite! VN Grill tastes the lightest and healthiest with huge portions with a Vietnamese/Asian spin on things. The protein prices include all the add-ons, except wok-tossed veggies and extra sauces. First, your choice of base: –White Rice –Rice Noodles –Brown Rice –Salad Second, you choose your protein: –VN pork(VN marinade; my favorite) — 7.55 –Chicken(lemongrass; second-favorite) — 6.95 –Beef(kalbi style) — 8.55 –Shrimp(tamarind butter) — 8.55 –Tofuque(soy ginger glazed) — 6.95 Then you choose veggies: –Lettuce, Cucumber, Basil, Crispy Shallots, Scallion Oil, Bean Sprouts, Mint, Cilantro, Pickled Carrots & Daikon, Jalapeño, Peanuts –Or All of the Above! –Wok-tossed Veggies(0.95) Then sauce(choice of 2): –VN sauce(my favorite), Lime Soy Vinaigrette, Tamarind Vinaigrette –Sesame Dressing(0.50) The only criticism I have is that most of the sauces are a little watered down and taste really similar. They also have different rotating flavors of lemonades(love the passion fruit!), and sides(spring rolls, pork sliders, etc.). Plus, the owners and employees are so nice! When I first visited when it was new, the owner came over and asked how we liked our food. Parking is hard, but it’s worth it. PS: SUGGESTION: it’d be awesome to offer rice paper and make a BIGSPRINGROLLBURRITO!

What a great concept! At VN Grill they play up the idea of Vietnamese vermicelli bowls and make it modern, i.e. nowadays that means«Chipotle style» or make your own. «Traditionally modern» is their slogan. You choose your base carb(white rice, brown rice, rice noodles) or just salad. Then protein. Then veggies, including traditional choices like pickled daikon and carrots or cilantro. And finally you pick your sauce(s). Whichever sauce you pick isn’t final, because they’re not mixed in with your bowl when you pick it up. You add it yourself from red, orange, or yellow bottles that are laid out, similar to the nuoc mam sauce that is traditionally served in bùn thit nuong. Sometimes the«Chipotle thing» doesn’t work for restaurants, but this one was very organized and efficient. A+ on their part! My order: beef(kalbi) rice noodles with all the veggies except grilled and with VN sauce. I know it’s hard for me to shy away from what I know… I must say that their meats are grilled amazingly! I also tried the pork and chicken and both were well marinated. I definitely recommend the kalbi if you eat beef! They also give you generous portions of meat, which is always nice. I also mixed in the lime soy sauce, which added a sour kick to my meal. My meal was filling, delicious, and definitely healthier than usual ;) Overall, the portion is generous, they are eco-friendly, and the prices are pretty cheap(comparable to Chipotle). Even when it’s busy the line moves through quickly, but we still had to wait an additional 15 minutes for our food. I’m guessing they fresh grill the kalbi, but it’d be nice to get it immediately. A solid 4 stars, double clicking on the other reviews of crowded parking lot and the wait time. I hope they expand to other locations soon! **Also if you’re unaware, these bowls will be served cold with the exception of the grilled meat or tofu, NOT like stir fry noodles.

I’ve been going here since it first opened. All of the servers are extremely friendly. The food is amazing and more on the healthy side. I love eating here after working out! The beef is my favorite but the chicken is my go-to. All bowls are customizable by choice of choice of rice salad or noodles then choice of meat and veges. You can choose any 2 of their sauces. I like the tamarind the best but the fish sauce and lime soy are good too. Their daily lemonade and coffee is also excellent. I really haven’t gone wrong with any order here. Their service is quick but if you don’t want to wait in line, you can use order ahead to place an order from your phone or computer.

I didn’t realize this place even existed and now I’m hooked. I’ve been back a couple of times already. Staff is great. Your food comes out fairly quickly based on your selections. I love the Chipotle-like concept of choosing the ingredients you want in your bowl. Everything tasted fresh. Prices are reasonable for the amount of food you get. I have yet to decide on a favorite sauce and I like that you can try 2 with every order. I usually only ever water but randomly decided to try their passion fruit juice. So glad I did. It’s so refreshing and absolutely delicious!

A lot of my coworkers go here for lunch and they absolutely LOVE it, so I really wanted to give this place a try! It definitely is like a Vietnamese Chipotle! You can either make a rice bowl or a rice noodle bowl with different types of meats, vegetables, and sauces! FOOD I ordered the beef bowl with brown rice and all of the additions(besides peanuts and mint) with the sesame dressing. The sesame dressing is $ 0.50 more. I believe my total came out to $ 9ish? So this place is very affordable! My coworker ordered the shrimp bowl with rice noodles and most of the additions as well with the citrus dressing(I forget what it’s called). She liked her bowl a lot as well! You can also get some sriracha and this other hot pepper sauce as well. The food was really good, but I’m knocking one star off for portions! SERVICE The service was very fast and attentive. The person taking our order was nice and patient enough to explain to us how to order. The establishment was very clean as well(both the dining area and bathroom), which is SUPER important to me! I will definitely be coming back here for lunch during the work week!(=

Don’t be deceived, it’s not like chipotle at all. They don’t assemble the fresh ingredients in front of you, but instead you verbally pick each ingredient and they make it back in the kitchen, aka you can’t see them make it. Pretty disappointed with this place after reading Unilocal reviews. I would much rather order the same dish at a Vietnamese restaurant than here. Noodles were cold and dry. Veggies were fresh though. I don’t understand how they don’t pour the sauce in for you but provide the sauce bottles to self serve. You can’t really taste the sauce differences, it all just tastes like bland fish sauce. Cool interior decorations, map of Vietnam, bike made out of bamboo, and a tv for sports. Overall, food quality is meh, there is no chipotle concept other than picking out separate ingredients and the fish sauces are really diluted.
