Good pizza but the crust is way too thin… I love thick crust so this doesn’t really do it for me. The pizza tastes good though. I heard it’s like being at the dmv at times waiting so I would suggest ordering online… In and out!

I tried the cinnamon strips and they were bomb af. And our pizza was bomb af. But the most bomb part of my experience was Danny. Love him, love it.

Third time I have been here third time disappointed. Each time the crust was the crispness and flavor of a ceramic dinner plate. Always had missing ingredient, even if you order on line, eg no sauce. Meat is dry and bland. The cheese, if they remember to put it on, is the only real good item on the pie. I got the margarita add chicken all 3 times. I do not recommend.

this place went down hill since they first opened. I placed an online order and came to pickup in 30 minutes. Provided my order # and immediately got the impression they forgotten my order. They gave me a lame excuse that my order is coming up. Waited another 15 minutes and still nothing. Then I knew they must forgot my order and only making it when I showed up. End up I had to wait another 10 minutes. Strike 1 I visit the store again few weeks ago on a Friday night and the line was long. Took almost an hour before my turn. Either they are understaff or no one seems to know what they are doing. 2 young chicks appear as if this is their first job. Slow and clueless is the nicest thing I can say about them. The cashier must be the shift manager and she was not doing anything to speed things up. 1 guy was baking the pizza and another guy was running around not knowing what he was doing. The whole time, I think I saw at least 10 customers walked away. I would too but my daughter insisted on pizza. Never again for this crap. Management need to get their act together.

It’s definitely good food for the money and you can make a healthy pizza for sure. That said, the one thing that bothers me a little is that some people have huge mountainous pizzas, and then some don’t. I saw this one pizza LOADED with meat and then everyone else’s looked rather sad. I think people should be given relatively similar amounts and those who ask for more shouldn’t be filled with a meat mountain like that person I saw. Maybe he gave the pizza dude a hard time, I don’t know but to me other customers got the short end of the stick for sure. Anyways I do the online order and the pizza I ordered was was much better than the one I got in person. Eons faster too.

I love the concept of this place and so far I haven’t «designed» a pizza I didn’t like. I question how long you will be able to add unlimited toppings but until that day I will keep loading them on. However the positives stop there. We went here for lunch and unlike a chipotle or other fast casual restaurant it was clear that Pieology couldn’t move people through the line fast enough. There were maybe 20 people in front of us and it took forever to order, pay and finally get our food… the culprit being the oven wasn’t big enough to hold all the pizzas in queue. Hopefully they can resolve this issue but until then I won’t be going here for lunch during the week.

First visit: I came here on a whim and a pizza craving one night. The line was quite long, but I figured, if it was similar to Chipotle, it can’t take too incredibly long. I was wrong. I seemed to have arrive after a very large family party. While picking ingredients, a mother kept shouting to her kid and asking what he wanted on his pizza… that was almost unbearable. I waited in line for at least 15 minutes before getting to the ordering position. The young lady who put my pizza together was very nice and took some time placing my toppings around the pizza evenly, which I greatly appreciated. They have the same gentleman running the cash register and the pizza oven… there has to be a better way than this. Maybe someone is on their break? The place seemed quite understaffed in general. I asked for my pizza to go and told him I would be right back. I came back and found my pizza, but it wasn’t in a box, so I had to go back up and ask for one, not too big of a deal. The whole trip took at least 30 minutes… the time it takes to order any pizza and have it deliverd. The pizza tasted great and wasn’t overly filling due to the thin crust. Second visit: Line wasn’t as long as previous visit(score). However, it took just as long… how you ask? They were out of a ton of ingredients, so it was taking people some time to decide what they wanted instead. I had a family in front of me and this young girl wanted green pepers on her pizza. An employee said they were out, checked in the back, came back and said it would take 20 mins because they haven’t started prepping. Now, call me crazy, but it does not take 20 mins to rinse and cut up a pepper for a customer who was willing to wait the 20 mins! I was surprised the young girl decided to wait at all. I noticed the same employee telling another customer behind me that she was out of 3 of the 5 ingredients to make the Alfredo pizza… wow, it wasn’t even 6:00 yet! The young lady helping me was very nice and again placed my toppings evenly. The employee who was explaining that they were out of ingredients was not as good and was kind of throwing toppings everywhere and unevenly on the customer behind me’s pizza… what’s point putting the ingredients on fast and uneven if we have to wait to pay and wait for the pizza to cook anyway? Before I got to the cash register, I heard the employee come back to tell the young girl that they actually don’t have any peppers and have to wait for another store to bring them and it would take about an hour. I would have walked out if I was that young girl, but she handled it well. Again, they had the same gentleman running the cash register and the pizza oven, causing a bit of a back up. I waited in the restaurant this time and it took quite a long time for everyone’s pizza to be ready, but I don’t think it was the cook time. There were two people at the boxing station who seemed completely clueless. I saw the woman who was in line after me get her pizza so I decided to go up and check mine. I saw them boxing it and playing around with some tickets, they turned around and I was sure they were going to say my name since I saw my pizza in their hands. They shouted out«Ven». I stood there a little confused for a second and I decided to speak up since there was no «Ven» waiting and I KNEW it was mine. I asked if the pizza was a ham, pineapple and pepperoni pizza, they checked it then the guy said«Sarah?», I said yes, he switched the tickets then handed to me… how is it there is confusion? Are the pizza toppings not listed on the tickets? Help me understand. There is still some hope for this place. While waiting, there was a woman who said they are never usually this slow, so maybe, just maybe, I caught them on bad nights… both nights. Also, every time I try to order online on my phone to avoid having to wait, the website doesn’t let me submit my order! I put all of my payment info in, then the submit button is not able to be selected. I have not tried from a computer, but it is impossible to do from an iPhone. I also tried to submit a complaint about this issue and same deal! Can’t submit the complaint. I will give this place one more try because I really do like the pizza and it’s perfect when you have that pizza craving. Their customer service needs much improving. Fingers crossed!

Completely underwhelming experience here this evening. It was my second visit and while the pizza is good, it’s not worth coming back unless they make major improvements. They were either understaffed and/or had undertrained staff, who were unprepared to handle a large party that held up everyone else after them. Everyone was apologizing to the customers behind them for the wait, so they were aware of it, but they were unable to catch up while I was there. The bathroom was in dire need of cleaning. I’m glad I just went in to wash my hands because I certainly didn’t want to use it otherwise. And they were out of ice at 6pm on a Saturday. Got another weak«Sorry» for that. Eventually my order came up, after sitting on the counter for quite a while, since the manager was simultaneously figuring out which pizza went to whom AND running around catering to the large party that kept asking for things. It was still just hot enough, thankfully, and was very tasty. Maybe this was really off night for them. Maybe not, but I’m not terribly willing to come back soon to find out. All in all, I prefer MOD pizza and would likely choose there instead of here in most cases.

Went here on Monday a little after they opened. Took some time to get my order started because it looked like they were still prepping but it was fine. It happens. The service though was great. The two guys that helped me out had great attitudes and made me feel super welcomed. Thumbs up to the top notch service guys! This was probably my fourth or fifth visit to this location and I love the pizza every time. Gonna come back again when I crave pizza!

I’m a sucker for customizable food items. I practically get everything when I go here. The crust is just thin and crispy enough for me since I don’t really enjoy crust. I love how there is a way to build lactose free pizzas here for my friend. It’s definitely worth the little wait and worth its price.

The only bad experience I’ve had at Pieology was the first time I went(at dinner time peak) and that was because they burned my pizza a bit and I was too lazy to tell them about it + I didn’t feel like wasting a perfectly decent pizza. Anyway, if you’re bashing on this place I’d be completely perplexed. Their ingredients seem fresh to me and the servers aren’t hesitant to give you more of an item if you just ask! I like the idea of personalized pizzas, but they have speciality/house pizzas(whatever you want to call it) if you want to try those. Wanted to touch base on the spicy chicken: it’s called spicy chicken for a reason y’all; I’m usually taking small sips of water in between slices sometimes because it’s a bit high for my tolerance, but it’s so delicious and tender I can’t stop despite the fire in my mouth. I wouldn’t say this place is the cleanest, but it’s not so bad that I always want to take my food to-go. It also depends on the hour you go of course! Servers are too busy cooking it up to clean a bit more I guess but they’re never too busy to help out a customer!

If you want to order just pizza you can skip this review for their pizza is good. This review is for their salad. It is overpriced and complete rip off. We ordered Caesar salad and it was whopping 8.65+tax. It had wilted lettuce, literally 8 cent sized chicken pieces, 5 croutons. When I tole them it’s too small for its price they stuffed more lettuce. Do Not Order salad here.

I love that they have whole wheat thin crust! For all the toppings I want on a thin crust pizza for $ 8.50!!?, Heckk yes! I always add garlic herb butter, marinara, mozzarella and ricotta cheeses, all the veggies and pepperoni, sausages, and buffalo chicken with half pesto and half BBQ sauces at the end. My pizza comes out flawless every time! except for when they burned one of my orders, the manager came out to apologize and made me another one. This has been my go to place for my pizza cravings, and I will continue to be their loyal customer for as long as they maintain their pizza quality.

I don’t normally write Unilocal reviews but this store’s customer service and quality of food made me furious enough to write this review. First of all, Pieology is one of my favorite places to dine in. However, this store is horrible. I came here twice and both times were not a pleasant experience. This branch also doesn’t provide many selections to choose from. There were literally no vegetables to choose from. The first time I came here: The pizza wasn’t even cooked enough. All the toppings were cold and the dough wasn’t even cooked. All the toppings fell off besides the cheese when I took my first bite. The second time I came here: The worker puts random toppings onto my girlfriend’s pizza without even asking. My girlfriend didn’t even start saying what she wanted on her pizza yet! How did she know what she wanted? When she confronted the worker, the worker acted like it was my girlfriend’s fault! The other workers got her order wrong as well. She asked for a certain topping but they give her a different one instead. For my pizza, I asked for herb butter sauce. When she put it on, she spilled some on the dirty metal platter. Instead of applying a new sauce, she picks it up with her hands and spreads it back on the dough that I was going to eat. Did she even take her food handling test? That’s very unsanitary! I then asked for her to put ricotta. Not only did she not put an effort into making the pizza look nice, she was too lazy to even cover the whole pizza. When I finally got my pizza, someone else’s toppings were in my pizza. Nice. Lastly she had no pleasant smile. In conclusion, I understand people have bad days but at least apply the right toppings and try to do a decent job. I highly suggest more joyful workers too who is ready to work with the right attitude.

Giving one star for the bad customer service and very veryyy disrespectful staff. went there with couple of friends and ordered a pizza togo. We are waiting for our order and we saw one of the server shock the whole pizza box left to right so that all the toppings could come off of the pizza. He was a freaking idiot he did that on purpose that too in front of us. I wanna abuse more but ll not do it coz its a respectable forum. This kinda of behavior is just not tolerable. Best thing when we reported this incident to the manager his response was«i know». I mean wow this place needs an intervention they just hire anybody.

So much food at such a low price. I love pizza but this didn’t cut it for me. Here’s what you need to know if you come here. The toppings are unlimited. They are plentiful and you can pile them up high. The quality of the ingredients is good! The pizza is oven-baked to perfection. My gripe with it is the Chipotle-like experience and lack of quality control. Pizza toppings are strewn everywhere in uneven ratios across the whole thing. The servers are making multiple pizzas at once so they forget some of the toppings you asked for. Lastly, the mozzarella is not fresh. It dries to a hard yellow clump that doesn’t taste good as leftovers. I don’t mean to be a pizza snob but I prefer the New York style pizzas that are half baked and warmed up in the oven versus this. At best, it’s a greasy salad on top of bread. I don’t hate it. But I don’t love it.

In short: Make your own incredible tasting pizza, but get it to go! Should you try it? YES! Ambience: Come in and get your pizza to go if you can to avoid the super loud screechy chairs that sound like fingernails on a chalkboard every time someone pushes in/pulls their chair. The chairs literally ruin the dine-in atmosphere. Service: Excellent service from the people behind the counter! Location: Free parking lot. We walked here. 3 Key Tips: 1) DONOTDINEIN unless you love the sound of fingernails on a chalkboard. 2) Don’t look at the menu — just go in and order your favorite toppings on a pizza! 3) Be prepared for leftovers unless you have a healthy appetite. Best Dish: Create your own pizza!

I really must have come on a bad night. My smokin’ bbq pizza was burnt and tasted like cardboard. I’m pretty sure I got cancer from all the carcinogens. My wife’s pizza was soggy and cut terribly. Whenever she picked up a piece, all the toppings would slide off. We aren’t coming here again. A 99 cent totino’s pizza from Safeway would be more satisfying… I’m not exaggerating.

Pieology is basically the Chipotle or Subway of pizzas. The way Pieology works is fairly simple. You start on the right hand side where the line begins. Then, when it’s your turn, you tell them what kind of crust you want. They offer their original crust, whole wheat and I believe a gluten free crust for an additional price. From there, the crust is your canvas. There are a variety of oils and sauces that you can choose. I highly recommend the herb butter because it makes that much of a difference to the taste of your pizza. Your pizza gets passed down to the next person who will begin taking care of your veggie toppings. You just say what you want and they’ll put it on. If you want more of a certain topping, just ask for extra. Then it’s get passed again and you can pick a variety of different meats. It’s taken into the fire oven and then you pay, take a number, and wait for your pizzas. You can take a seat anywhere while you wait for your pizzas, whether you ordered to eat there or to-go. They will bring you your order regardless. The place seems to always have a line to build your pizza, but people leave their tables at a fairly fast speed so there seems to be tables available. They have crushed red peppers and parmesan in little shaker bottles for you to use. If you are familiar with MOD pizza, I found the pizzas at Pieology to be bigger. Normally my partner and I can order three MOD pizzas and be content, but one Pieology pizza each was enough for us. I got my pizza with whole wheat crust, marinara, an assortment of veggies, mozarella and chicken. I should have added the herb butter because I felt like my pizza tasted underseasoned. It didn’t have that oomph that I was hoping pizza would have. However, it did taste homemade. I liked the whole wheat crust since it added some heartiness and nuttiness to the pizza. But the thing I did not like was that the crust, in some parts, were very soggy. The crust definitely needed to be more crisp. My partner made his like a meat lovers pizza. I like the selection of meats that they have from chicken, sausage, pepperoni to BBQ chicken, etc. His pizza had the herb butter and it was delicious. It was really unfortunate because his crust wasn’t as crispy as we would have wanted either. Overall, it’s good personal pizza, but I wouldn’t say it’s the best. They do have signature pizzas that you can choose if you don’t want to build your own, though I find that many people choose to build theirs. It’s a good price since there are unlimited toppings for one pizza price.

Came by for a light dinner the other night and it was mediocre. Pieology is located inside a brand new strip mall where parking is challenging, even for an early dinner on a weeknight… eek! There was minimal line upon arrival and the staff was friendly. It appears that the staff uniforms looked somewhat tired… maybe they were washing them in hot water. At least their name tag and gloves were in good condition?!? All pizzas are $ 7.99 and come with unlimited toppings. The pizza was mediocre as there wasn’t much substance to the crispy cookie-like«crust.» The toppings were okay. The classic salad was decent. At least it was fresh! :) …seems like this place is run by High Schoolers and caters to those that are price sensitive! ~$ 10/head for a light dinner.
