Very insightful, and professional. I went for a month so far and I’m hooked. At the end of the 1 hour boxing class, every body part feels amazing, sore, little shaky and I started to see nice stomach muscles. I’ve learned a lot and its helped my energy throughout the day. Boxing has always been my love and Johan is a great trainer! He is also very helpful with nutrition and diet. Thank you.

I started meeting Johann several months ago based on a recommendation I got. I was strength training but wanted to learn more about proper eating and nutrition. With Johann, I got to really learn about nutrition and how important proteins, vegetables, dairy and fruits were to my diet. He helped me plan my meals on workout days and non-work out days. Knowledge is power and with Johann, I learned so much about how to eat; what made me eat junk food and teaching me good habits about how I eat and how I should treat myself if I didn’t reach my weight goal during a specific week. It’s when Johann started to teach me about nutrition, I began to understand what the bad stuff does to my body. Johann is absolutely NON judgmental– I have always had notions that people who do nutrition counseling or train people may be judgmental. No matter what problem I brought to Johann(and I had many!), he always helped me out by figuring out how to overcome challenges and has always been sensitive and understanding to my needs. Being a vegetarian, I have always found it challenging to figure out what types of food I can eat to sustain a good diet which worked in conjunction to my workouts. Johann came up with so many different options for me to eat different foods that were delicious and complimented my workouts. I have learned a lot about myself and having met him was the best thing that could have happened. He is simply brilliant, caring, funny, understanding and best of all so very helpful during my journey to better eating. Wish I could give him more than 5 stars! =)

Awesome place to train and get fit. Johann is extremely friendly and at the same time he also knows how push you to get the results you want! I recommend this gym to all of my friends! :)

I started training with Johann when he worked at Bally’s as a personal trainer. At first I was skeptical because he was so young, but Johann taught me about nutrition and how to do basic workout moves and non-traditional workout moves. This kept me motivated and interested in my workouts. I got great results from that, so when Johann worked for another studio, I was glad to train with him again and the second time I got in better shape than before, Johann was more creative in his workout routines and I was able to get a great deal, he made me committed to my health and as a result I gained muscle and lost weight(which was my goal when we set my plan up in the beginning). He introduced me to boxing and really toned up my core and arms. I was stronger and faster and I improved in my softball games and running! Well, thanks to Johann, I met my future husband and I came back to him once again to workout for my wedding and again, his tactics and creativity did not disappoint. I am always happy with the results I get from training with Johann and after my 2nd baby, I will definitely go back to him again. Johann listens to what your goals are and tailors the workouts to motivate you and reach your goal by whatever date you set. I trust Johann to get me where I want to be every time. He is a great listener and is sort of like the bartender that listens to your gripes but at the same time getting you to where you need to be.

I started training with Johann almost two years ago in order to start exercising regularly again after taking a break for several years. I was looking for a solution in a location that would not be intimidating and where I could focus on strength training and core strength. I have been surprised with my results and it has also provided me the motivation to start running again, including completing a half-marathon last year. Johann has tailored my training to meet my goals and provided encouragement along the way.
