TOGO’S Sandwiches

Now for the sandwich It’s been years since I’ve had Togos (over 10) I felt I was having a bread sandwich with a little roast beef and veggies Increase your prices if you need to but add more beef and produce No one wants a bread sandwich

The lady that made my sandwich was very nice and courteous. I wish I got her name. I got the #9 hot pastrami. The portion was plenty. The guy that cashed me out, Ed he accepted my check in offer which was a free 20 Oz drink. Thank you togos for the check in offer. Reason why I love Unilocal

I have to say although it was busy coramina helped me she was awesome great service !

The line was crazy long and I felt like they took people OFF the line during the lunch rush. I ordered and let them know that I had the Unilocal check-​in offer (free 20 oz soda) and the guy who was ringing me up asked me a bunch of questions «what is your phone number, when did you place your order, etc» and I was like «dude, I just checked in on Unilocal» and then he got angry and said «you should have told us that at the beginning»… (which I did, by the way). Anyway, it wasn’t worth the effort for the free drink… I took my sandwich and left. It was regular Togo’s, but no love. hahaha

Visiting from Reno, I was driving around trying to decide on something for dinner. I saw the Togo’s sign and began to wax nostalgic. Ages ago, when I was in college, the original Togo’s was near SJSU and I would stand in line waiting for ages on Sunday to get a linguica sandwich for lunch. It was a small 6 stool place and everyone went there. The sandwiches were huge and being on a non-​existent budget, I would do the eat half now, save the rest for dinner, route. I haven’t had one of their sandwiches in ages, so I decided to stop in.
I ordered the #29 — chicken salad on a parmesan roll. Delicious. Lots of chicken salad, a really full sandwich. Service was fast; the staff was friendly It didn’t disappoint.. I will be back. It doesn’t have the feeling of the old shop with just a few stools, but things change and that’s ok.

Glad to say that things have improved greatly since my last post. It seems like they have hired more staff and the line moves much more quickly now. The quality of the food is as good as ever.

Fast service… friendly staff, even when the lines are out the door, which they have been the last 3 days I’ve been here (jury duty down the street). I’ll miss my daily gluten free wrap!

I feel like I can always count on Togos to make me a delicious sandwich. This place lives up to my expectations. The staff is super friendly and they put a lot of meat on your sandwich. This is one of my go to lunch places.
I love the roast beef on dutch crunch. They always load it with fresh meat and veggies so its delicious. I’ve never cared for the inside of any chain restaurant and this one isn’t too special. Maybe if the atmosphere was really awesome this place would get 5 stars.

I’m very impressed with the fast service and great sense of humor the staff provides at this location despite how busy they are. There are also plenty of tables inside and out, it is very clean, and it is within close proximity of the courthouse. Stopped by during my lunch break and ordered the turkey avocado, plenty of avocado. Definitely recommend this TOGO’S to all of you prospective jurors.

Three Stars for the Aging Facilities. Historically (and today), I’ve not had problems with unruly service or dilapidated online orders for pickup. But the Restrooms… Hmmm…
I haven’t been to TOGO’S in a while and this location in particular. Having ordered my $ 5 Daily Deal, I abandon my co-​worker to visit the facilities festivities. As I walk in, it’s all dark so I turn the timer (WTH?) so at least I can see but suddenly I hear someone blurt out, «Jesus… Thank you.» I’m pretty sure that he wasn’t necessarily NOT thanking Jesus but I was tempted to reply, «Jesus says,‘You’re welcome…’»
I noted the nifty motion sensor towel rack and motion sensor soap dispenser but what is up with the «poor man’s electricity saving lightswitch»??? SERIOUSLY?
Anyway, I felt sorry for the guy who literally got caught with his pants down because the timer ran out or because somebody thot the Environment was more important than someone needing light to see enough to wipe!!!
I mean, I’m not complaining about it yet — except maybe on behalf of the guy ostensibly thanking Jesus. Who knows — maybe I’ll be the one thanking Jesus next…

In general, TOGO’S cost more and their over-​the-​top indulgence on 9″ sandwiches means slumming at S****Y if you want a foot long «footlong». Alasably, S*****y discriminates against Egg Salad lovers so if I want one, I can’t go see «the other place.»
TOGO’S $ 5 Daily Deals include a 6″ Sandwich and a 20 Oz. Drink. With today being Monday, it was Pastrami Daily Deal Day for $ 3.45 (Reg. $ 7.5o) incl. 20 Oz. Drink (Reg. $ 1.55 w/​sandwich). Depending how you look at it, it could be the daily deal you were looking for — or not.

I love Togo’s! I worked for them in high school and this one has always made good sandwiches for me. The menu always changes, don’t know what’s up with that but I have my favorite’s and I stick to those. Keep the number 8!

Came here with my mom because we were hungry and next door at the bail bonds place.
We got 2 number 24 turkey avocado a garden soup and 2 drinks. The sandwich was not flavorful like i expected which was a bummer i was looking forward to it. The soup taste like can soup not the best. I must say every employee was very nice and welcoming and is why the 3 stars.
The dinning area is very clean which is great. Overall the experience was just «good». Flavor wise rather go to Subway.

Came here for lunch today, and the staff was very nice and the guy who helped us was pretty funny. He was cracking little jokes. My buddy and I sat outside cause the weather was perfect, and had a little time to kill before his appointment a couple blocks down. We ate and drove to his appointment where I realized I didn’t have my phone. I then asked him to call it, he did it rang and rang. My stomach dropped! Then someone picks up and Togo’s had it, thank god! I ran back over and asked the first person I saw (Eddie) and told him I was here to pick up my iPhone I left, he then asked if I could type in the code to verify if it was mine. Minutes before someone tried to claim it but Eddie checked and I couldn’t be more appreciative. Come to find out he was store manager and togos should be privileged to have such a employee as Eddie.

It came around that time again when I had to order food for a small event in my office. We opted for a sandwich spot close to us, but later found out it was close, my co-​worker than said to «just go to togos». Had a quick flashback to my last experience when I came back with half empty sandwiches (only lettuce, cheese, mustard, avocado — something like that, handled the situation very well btw, things happen).
This time around, the experience was great. The service was excellent. A young lady tried helping me re-​create sandwiches ordered that were meant for another sandwich shop — very patient young lady. Everything came out perfectly, and I even tried something new.
My biggest take-​away? Superb service here.

I’ve been to this TOGO’s a few times and have had very different experiences.
The first few times I came here were during their later business hours, and I have found the closing employees usually pretty quiet and one time down right rude, the place always empty. I came in about 15 minutes before closing and was scurried out the door as they were sweeping the dining room. Guess that wasn’t enough time to make a sandwich.
Today however I came during the lunch rush and was pleasantly surprised at how quickly my order was taken care of and how friendly my sandwich artist was. I wish I got his name, because not only was he friendly but my sandwich was delicious!
I come here because it is walking distance from my home and I prefer TOGO’s plumper sandwiches to the also-​nearby Subway’s sandwiches. TOGO’s just makes em better!

I’ve never been to Togo’s until I wanted to try something different that was around the neighborhood. I came here and had a salami sandwich. It was amazing… The service is great, I’m greeted every single time as I walk in the door. I love their sandwich card that allows you to earn stamps towards a free sandwich. Better than Subway by far!

Last week I had my boyfriend pick me up lunch since he had the day off… When he dropped off my order everything was wrong! My salad had no dressing or avocado (I ordered the Santa Fe salad which has avocado) and my sandwich had no mayo or mustard. I called in to complain and the manager offered to remake my order.
I ended up leaving work and picking up the correct order, and they messed up my order again! This time my salad had no avocado! My sandwich had avocado so I know they had avocado…
But besides that, the people were very nice and understanding. The place also has a great deal for «happy hour». I gave them two stars for customer service and pricing.

ROAST BEEF is a GO!
This is my top go-​to place for convenient and tasty roast beef sammys at a decent price. I’ve been having TOGO’s ever since i was a kiddo. My pops would always get the BBQ beef for the family.
I almost always get a large hot roast beef sammy here on french and it always makes my belly dance with glee. Quality of the food here is superb as well as the service. Will be back for more!

This definitely has to be my favorite Togo’s spot. I usually don’t write about «quick bites», but I love love love this place. I work about 5 minutes away from here & I always call in before I come and pick it up. They all know me when I go in there, not really by name yet but they know me when I walk in. I’m always greeted with a smile and the sandwiches/​salad that I always order comes out to perfection.
One thing I do have to say that is a con is that they do not offer the Unilocal deal that is on here, I tried it the other day & they said they weren’t familiar with it but the girl still gave me a free soda for checking in. :) Overall 5 stars & I think I’m going to order some Togo’s to-​go today!
