I came across this restaurant while looking up breakfast near me, I’m so glad I decided to give it a try! The staff is so welcoming and all in good spirit. The servers are very attentive, you see everyone doing something at all times, that is great to me! I ordered the«Chilaqulies» they were sooo delicious! Probably some of the best chilaqulies I’ve had! Overall I really like this place and I’m super happy I discovered it!

Went here for my first time cause of the free pancake and 10% off deal. Keep in mind, the discount is only if you pay cash. The service was amazing. We were greeted with smiles and seated immediately, which was great since it was a Saturday morning. The food was spot on and our coffee cups were always full. I will definitely be coming back to this little hole in the wall.

This was a great breakfast restaurant. Very busy, yummy food, large selection of items. Great service and fast to get our order. Hidden gem on winchester Blvd and Williams. Eggs Benedict, fluffy pancake and Chile omelet

This is just a better Denny’s that’s open during normal hours. In other words: a typical American breakfast place with extremely-average food. The service was good, and the portions were very generous. As with most American breakfast shops, I was left feeling uncomfortably ponderous and disgusted with myself after the meal.

Found my breakfast spot while posting Winchester area back in 2013(I was working for a private ambulance company at the time.) Great service, food is delicious and the scrambled eggs were on point. I’m usually picky about them! The one Weekend was chaotic, minus one star, only because my family and I waited a long time for our seats so that I could show them the awesome french toast. Minus one star for the bacon. It may be me, but they were not crispy enough for my taste, even when ordered well. I have since stopped ordering bacon. everything else I’ve had was awesome. Friendly staff and worth the wait. The servers will go out of their way to help you, even if you are not their table!

I came here for a Sunday Brunch pick me up, my friend and I needed some comfort food for the rainy day and long night out. We were seated right away and everything looked so good one the menu. I decided to go with the Country Eggs Benedict and breakfast potatoes. ITWASSOGOOD!!! I was planning on eating half and couldn’t stop myself from eating the whole thing! The service was fast, and the waiter was super friendly. My friend also liked her choice from the international menu. I will be back to try more =)

«This place is all cutesy.» Not my words, hers. As for me, it is pretty cutesy! Ahaha! This place is a lot bigger than you would think once you go inside. It has plenty of seating and the service was very homey. The gal that helped us out was quick to offer coffee and tell us her favorites, which was nice. I got one of the omelets with ham and cheese that came with toast and potatoes along with a glass of orange juice. She got the chilaquiles, which were actually really good! Both our plates had generous portions and the quality was spot on. Everything from the service to the food, and even the place was very cozy! Overall; we’ll be back again soon for it all!

Well this was a bust. We came here Sun. morning on Valentine’s day knowing that our usual brunch places where going to have a long wait. Waited 10 mins to be seated. Then took our time looking over the menu. Big menu with lots of variety and everything sounds good. After 20 mins we flag down a waitress and she takes our order. 40 mins later after ordering our food comes. Without our pancake. I waited a while thinking our pancake would be right out, 20 mins pass I flag down another waitress and she says she’ll bring it right out. Wow sure it will. Another 20 mins I get up and ask for the check, we never saw the pancake, 0 tip. The place wasn’t full or anything and every time we asked for something it was a different waitress so its not like they are understaffed. By the time we left 3 of the 5 waitresses were sitting on empty tables counting their tip. I’m surprised this place has good reviews, never coming back!

Generous portions, like-home-but-better cooking, attentive service, and reasonable prices. Came here for a late breakfast. Seated myself as the sign instructed, and was quickly greeted and given a menu. I asked the waitress about the free pancake offer on Unilocal. She explained that the«save 10%» only applies to cash transactions. I was paying with a credit card, but I still could get the free pancake. I then ordered the Joe’s omelette(Italian seasoned ground beef, spinach, mushrooms and cheese) with a side of fruit salad and my choice of toast(a blueberry muffin). Dishes came out quickly. The portions were substantial! The pancake was big, golden and fluffy. It had a slight aftertaste of overcooked pancake, perhaps from the griddle, but that was remedied with a dose of syrup. The omelette had a lot of vegetables, which I loved. The ground beef was bland, so I threw on some ground pepper and salt. The fruit salad, as others have noted, was lovely. Watermelon, cantaloupe, pear, apple, kiwi and orange, such nice variety. Lastly, the blueberry muffin was jumbo-sized, packed with blueberries and delicious. Throughout the meal, the waitress checked on me, which I appreciated. Total came out to only $ 11. I will be back for more.

The service was excellent, very very very very good!!! The service alone is worth the place. Funny how things work, Bfast Place was my 2nd option since I wanted to go to Bill’s. Bill’s was too crowded this trip, and the last trip I took in May. The veggie ommie: Standard, not too different than other places. Fruit cup(vs. potato): was very yummy. I like how they had a variety of fruit unlike most places that have just one thing, or nasty cantaloupe. Carbs: Generic market bread. Flapjacks: I got the apple cinnamon without all the crap on top. These are naturally sweet enough, no syrup needed. My homie got the carnivorous ommie(not literal name), that’s what i call the meat lovers ommie, but this guy thinks Mcdonalds is gourmet food so who knows how delish it was. Overall I enjoy this place, and i reckon many locals will too. Since I am not from Nor/Central Cal, I probably won’t come back here unless all my bookmarks, and options are to no avail. Considering how much the niners are going to suck, and how cheap the tickets are, as a football fan(no niner fan here, boo), i’m prolly going to venture out here more next season… not that you cared… for some odd reason, i just wanted to throw out there how much the niners stink =D =D =D =P

I have nothing bad to say about this mom n’ pop eatery. It wasn’t upscale by any means but overall it was clean and had a nice diner vibe. Definitely get the Chilequiles! The beans were soft and fluffy, the eggs were a perfect over easy and the saucy tortilla chips still had a nice crispness and crunch. We also shared a short order of the Swedish pancakes which were delicious. If you love tiny, thin pancakes( ) then you will love these! Personally I enjoyed the fact that I didn’t feel like a total blob after eating them, but still got to have my sweet bite at breakfast. Though, what impressed me most was how friendly the staff was. Normally I don’t set my brunch service expectations too high but every single staff member we passed said goodbye to us as we were leaving, and they were really friendly when they took our order even though we had a million questions. If you’re looking to avoid the crazy line grind at Bill’s or Hash House, get your brunch at The Breakfast Place!

Chilaquiles were the tits. The crunchy tortilla, the red sauce, the refried beans… yo the beans! The bubbly belly afterwards was more than worth it. I don’t get the low reviews, especially those complaining about the service. We had a totally different experience. Everyone was crazy friendly and helpful. Our server recommended the Chilaquiles after I bombarded her with like 5 questions about a bunch of stuff on the menu. She basically told me to relax, order the Chilaquiles, and enjoy. And I did! The girlfriend and I also shared Swedish Pancakes, which are like if Pancakes and Crepes had a baby. Thin. Not too sweet. Tasty with the Lingonberries and a drizzle of Syrup. Perfect when you want some sweet to go with your savory. I also ordered a Chocolate Milk… because I’m a child. But it was so good. As always. Plus it was part of a coupon I had(required 2 beverage purchases…). The entire feast(we also had a couple eggs and strips of bacon) and two beverages came out to $ 16. I was good on food for a solid 10 hours after, like a good brunch should be. On the way out, literally every worker there said goodbye & have a good day to us. Even the server outside taking a break. Such friendly ladies. I’m a big fan and more than happy to find this brunch spot near the new bungalow.

I liked this place, and only found it thru Unilocal since I’m not from around here. When I checked in I rec’d a 10% off coupon plus free pancake. Nice! I wasn’t expecting 5* dining and didn’t need it because I’m tired and just wanted some good food, hot coffee, and take a breath for a moment. This place wasn’t crowded at all maybe 10 other diners in the entire place. It seemed smaller from the outside but I was plenty surprised by the roominess. Service was quick and my coffee never reached midway full before it was getting topped off. So bravo for their service. I seen that other Unilocalers reviewed badly for service slowness but maybe the business had an off day, it happens sometimes. They serve Mexican and American comfort food. From biscuits & gravy, corn beef hash, scramble skillets, to eggs Benedict and chilaquiles. Total for my food which included 2 coffee’s, large OJ, small OJ, bowl of oatmeal, toast, fruit, and chili verde burrito $ 26. Left very full and happy!

Ya’ll are a bunch of haters! I’ve eaten here literally 30−40x and never had cold food, never has the waitstaff been inattentive(if anything there are times I wished they would leave me alone), the coffee has always been fresh and hot — it tastes just like coffee from any of the multitude of other breakfast places… this ain’t Starbucks or Peets for goodness sake. This is a decent mom and pop type restaurant where you can get good food at a reasonable price. Anyone comparing this place to Hash House needs to take their hipster club card and move along back over there. Debbie is a doll and will provide you with exceptional service… I’ve never seen a microwave(although I’m sure they have one) let alone tasted any food that seemed like it came from one. Quit your bitchin’, get in here and treat yourself to some good grub!

Try the country potatoes. It is in the back of the plaza. There is plenty of parking on the lot. The eggs benedict was not bad. The hollandaise and the english muffin was very delicious. However I can’t say the same for the egg. BUTTHECOUNTRYPOTATOES doe. Super good. Price: reasonably priced ~$ 10 for the benedict. Overall: Might return if in the area.

I am literally still sitting in this shithole writing this review. I usually write only good reviews, but this place is a JOKE. The dinner wear was from ikea, the coffee tastes like it was brewed yesterday, the cheese was like worse than Kraft cheese. This is just to start. I got the breakfast burrito and my boyfriend got eggs Benedict. His«cheese» was. Or even melted and the eggs were the size of my little finger. The bread was burned and we both got their country potatoes that tasted like they had been sitting in water, not even fully cooked. People have been telling me how wonderful this place was so we tried it out. We go to breakfast places on the weekends and wanted to try some where new. We were very disappointed. The entire place is way too loud and all the waiters/waitresses were running and sweating; it was very hot in there. Our waitress came over, middle of the meal and said«I’m going to be cutting out so If you want to take care of the check now, that would be good.» We weren’t even close to being finished eating. Once I was signing the check, she came back over, opened it and looked how much I tipped her… Which I felt was very inappropriate. The only good thing was the prices and the salsa. The salsa was pretty good. … Like I already have diarrhea from this place.

This is one step better than a diner. They have odds and ends on display throughout the restaurant, in this case, mugs. There was no wait on a Sunday morning for brunch, and coffee was served immediately.(thank you). I ordered the veggie omelette, which felt really healthy! it had spinach, mushrooms, onions, etc… it came with a side of fruit, which wasn’t just melon — it was strawberries, kiwis, pears apples, and cantaloupes. Very impressed. I was even able to take half my omelette home and eat it for a snack. My boyfriend ordered the blueberry pancakes, which are PACKED with blueberries. Solid choices. Parking is plentiful, its behind mizu sushi.
