My bf and I were in the mood for sushi, so we looked and found Sushi House. But we were surprised to find it replaced by Yoogool, which is a yogurt and milk tea place. Still we decided to give it a go. They have pretty basic rolls and only 6 to choose from. It was alright nothing really amazing, but the price was decent.

I came here looking for Yoogool, but looks like it has been replaced by Sushi House. The coconut iced tea looks enticing, unfortunately they were out of the coconut tea that day. So I settled on a taro milk tea. The drink takes some time to be ready, probably the same person who was behind the counter, was also making our drinks. My complaints with the milk tea are two-fold: — Way too sweet — The cup was FULL of ice with so little of the milk tea itself I haven’t found a better place for iced boba drinks apart from Pekoe. So, I’m going to be exclusively married to Pekoe for iced milk teas!

The first time I came to this shop you were able to dispense your own frozen yogurt from the machines hidden behind the cloth. Now they sell milk tea, ice cream, smoothies, snacks and certain sushi rolls. The California roll was the standard avodao, imitation crab and a piece of cucumber. They were out of tuna so I got the smoked salmon roll which did not taste good to me, though I am not a huge fan of wasabi sauce on my rolls which may have been why. I give them a three star because they have messed up my order twice before, and have pretty long wait times(about 5 – 10 min for drinks and 15 – 25 min for food) even though I never see more than 3 – 4 people at a time and they have 3 employees. They do greet you and try to serve you with their hardest efforts. The location is in a small neighborhood market area where kids and adults like to hangout, outdoor yoga, photos etc. They are planning to build a library, and have a tutoring center with a lot of mini food shops to eat at including a Walmart and CVS.

This is more of a boba place but they sell about 8 sushi rolls that come with 8 regular sized pieces each. This is not a sushi spot where you expect top of the line sushi go to cha cha for that.(just to give merit/contrast to my knowledge of great sushi in San Jose. I know where to go) The price ranges from $ 4 — $ 12 which isn’t bad at all. I paid $ 4.70 for the CA roll and $ 9.20 for a caterpillar roll.(Taxes included) Tastewise the caterpillar roll is a 7.8÷10 pretty good. The CA roll was 6.5÷10. It wasn’t bad and the price is even cheaper than the grocery market/gas station/school cafeteria price for 8 pieces. The service was normal. Normal customer service is good customer service. It’s what should be expected of any customer service. When you go above and beyond is when it’s amazing. The ambience is California like. Meaning the sun hits this place at just the right amount. It’s super clean and organized. There’s a convenient bathroom. The music is very appropriate at a right volume and the tracks are all age appropriate and energizing. It’s tidy. I give it a 4 star rating because of the taste+price service location ambience and hours. I recently went on a sushi rampage(after having privelage socal sushi) and there is absolutely no sushi spots in the evergreen area. Truya sushi and Yuri sushi are the only sushi bars around the evergreen area and they are horrid expensive small in sushi quantity and the worst in customer service. If you like these sushi spots in that area I feel sorry for you. Go here if you want cheap accessible not bad sushi.

What a waste of time. I order 1st before other customers and yet they priorities the one who came last

Pretty okay for pretty cheap sushi that’s open till midnight or 11 most nights. It’s better than gas station sushi and 7-eleven sushi and the business site is beautiful so that’s why they have three stars. The California roll has light mayo on top with fake chopped crab. The Caterpillar roll is less than 9 dollars which is rare but you get what you pay for, it’s alright. Yes I would rather go to Yuri and Yogurtland for five star evergreen eats.
