It was tough trying to get someone up to my neck of the woods in Morgan Hill to do a «move-​out» cleaning. Luckily, Elena was able to help us out.
The team did a great job. In three hours, three people cleaned a 3000 sq. foot home. I asked them to focus on the bathrooms, windows, and countertops. In addition to what I asked, they also mopped the floors, cleaned all the light fixtures, and dusted every corner of the house.
That house was cleaner than when I moved in. I would definitely hire Maria and Elena House Cleaning again.

I’ve used Maria & Elena to clean my house twice now and am super happy. I had been trying t find a cleaning service for a while and nobody called me back or followed through except Maria & Elena.
I filled out the profile on Service Magic on a Saturday night and received a call from Elena the next day, Sunday. I assumed we needed to set something up during the week but she said she could come over that afternoon, which worked perfectly for me. She came over, we did a walk through, I explained what I wanted done and what I didn’t. We sat down, had some tea and chatted. I liked that they are a family owned an operated company (sisters) who seem to be morally sound and ethical. She gave me a quote for the initial «deep cleaning» and follow up cleanings. My house is a 2-​story 2.5 bath, 2 bdrm townhouse which I keep pretty clean but want a thorough cleaning once per month. It was $ 120 for the first cleaning and is $ 100 for each monthly cleaning after that, which I think is very reasonable.
The first cleaning they did a great job — they did the blinds, the floors, changed the sheets, and even cleaned inside the microwave and toaster oven (which my husband uses everyday and doesn’t clean and I now refuse to clean it, so it was kind of a mess). I couldn’t wait for them to come again, and they did just as good of a job the second time. There were a couple things they didn’t do the first time (i.e. clean the ceiling fan blades and light) that Elena said they would, but I just let her know and she was apologetic and they did it the second time, no big deal.
I’m sorry that the two other people had a bad experience but I am very happy and thin it’s worth them giving Maria & Elena another change. It’s so worth having a cleaning service once or twice a month if you value your time and don’t want to spend your precious and few days off cleaning!
